oh this movie with Joaquin Phoenix!
never see any movie by Paul Thomas Anderson. Maybe i've to start with "There will be blood" or by this movie instead?

thanks for the answer

Worth watching for the cinematography but the story itself is boring.

see

It's one of those movies that you'll really enjoy the first time watching it but become a slog if you try watching it again.

I agree user, we should do this more often

All PT Anderson films are at least a 7/10, you should watch any (or all) of them

Amazing poster

start with Boogie Nights

I see that Cold in July is available for streaming on Netfix right now. Neat.

That one was great. Comfy and and made me half way reevaluate my life.

boogie nights is PTA most mainstream/"accessible" film by far

Different user...
Any movie that my wife is less than 99% interested in seeing, she falls asleep halfway through also. You falling asleep during this one is perfectly understandable. It's a period war/action movie with absolutely no romantic relationship aspects (you know...things most women like in movies), and actually, there's almost no female screentime at all, which makes it very historically accurate.

KILL LIST

I watched it because I'm Argentine, heard Viggo on the radio talking about it when he was filiming it in Argentina

For fuck sake, at least learn english before typing shit like this

Yes this is actually a wonderful movie.
i recommend Troll Hunter to people. seems to do alright

Memes once again proves to be the reality

Letters From Iwo Jima.

It was made by Clint Eastwood and he also made another movie, Flags of Our Fathers, released about the same time that featured the US point-of-view over the battle. That one was just average, though. Letter to Iwo Jima is pure kino.

I watched it because it had Viggo in it. Was a good call

>almost no female screentime
i dont remember seeing a single woman in that movie

Easily one of the best growing up adventure movies ever...
And barely anyone recommends it and even fewer have seen it.

Joint Security Area is beautiful

Thanks ,so i will try Boogie Nights first .

Also i feel strange to see nearly no korean movie here. is it rare to see a korean film in a theater in USA ?

Better than nothing, right?

This may be the best movie I've ever watched.

One of the few bully-free threads I've seen in a while

What the fuck is happening

>i dont remember seeing a single woman in that movie

There was, but only for a few seconds and she had no speaking role. It was when they were resupplying the ship in Brazil. She made eyes with the captain.

This is a comfy thread, fuck off

i saw it last week and it was amazing!

this movie of park chan wook was really beautiful for a first full-length movie .

i didn't like high-rise very much. is this any better?

Hardly any foreign films get theater time here. Some independent theaters may have more discretion.

women are stupid and i dont respect them.

i just have sex with them

This is a really great movie. Since this is Sup Forums i assume someone will say its "reddit" because of the director.

But its a simple movie, great cinematography, stylish, nice music, great characters, good child actor, nice story. Its all-in-all completely solid.

And hell, that beginning is nearly up-tier for unwanted feels.

No, you don't

You hate them because they don't like you

Interestingly, most men with that mindset have extreme difficulty with getting laid, unless they're taller than 6'2", of course.
