ITT: Actors who haven't quite done THAT film that made their career

For example, ryan renolds hadn't quite done THAT film until deadpool.

I would say jason statham is in the same boat, i few close ones but not quite there yet.

Anyone else ?

(the most underrated movie of all time btw)

I'd say Statham's THAT movies were one of the

I, personally, know him the most from Crank, because that might have been the first movie I saw with him, or at least the one I remember, since I was probably a wee lad back then
I doubt his magnum opus is yet to come, he isn't young anymore, he basically always plays the same character, more or less, I still like him, but he has starred in some pretty shitty movies that can lock him out of anything better, just because people might have an opinion on his characters from shitty flicks
Definitely past his prime now too, also starred in too many movies just to do something, also has several good movies he will be remembered for

>jason statham
What is Crank and Crank 2(AKA the best movies ever made)

departed
Ted

foh

He should stop acting and just be a shitty bouncer desu. I hate his voice and his acting.

>MArk Whalberg made the movie better

I couldn't watch it halfway through cause of him.

>Crank
>Crank 2

Nah m8, Statham has already dipped his toes into the kino pool.

what a stupid thread. sage.

counter-sage ;^)

Somebody hasn't seen The Bank Job

That shit was boring, though.

>2 hours of drilling a hole while light jazz plays in the background

They should have put him in the next Star Wars. Or maybe Lord of the Rings and he can kick frodo to Mordor.

The fact that people take him seriously as an actor is already mindboggling.

I like him but Hollywood hasn't really figured out what his place is yet

>OP isn't aware of the greatest kino ever made

>what is hurt locker
didn't he win an oscar for it

>kino
Get Q to unironically recap in the sequel

HE'S BEEN A BUSY LITTLE BASTARD THAT TURKISH

>snatch
>lock stock

Just fuck off you stupid kid

>2 hours of drilling a hole while light jazz plays in the background

I would unironically watch this

Stahman is not really an actor, he's just a buff guy running around.

ikr I hate him

>statham
>buff

Found the beta virgin landwhale

Statham's entire career is built on Lock Stock

Crank you fucking moron.

I agree with like, everybody in this thread.

Snatch, Crank were pretty amazing Statham movies.

But Statham could totally star in his own 12 Monkeys, Lost in Translation, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind etc. kind of movie still to have THAT film in his career.

I think Snatch should be on his list too.
