Plus Canada's Provinces
At least for my school

It isn't that hard

we had to learn them and their capitals in second grade..

oh wow 50 whole names

who cares, just like everything in school you memorize it for the test then forget it immediately after.

>Koreans have to memorize their 50+ kimchi variations

Cuck

I thought asians were good at memorizing things

i chuckled

Now let's talk about how much you contribute to this board.

A lot actually.

Cuck

lmfao

>memorizing 50 words is a challenge in Korea

>every geographic bee
>it's a chink or pajeet

Excellent argument.

you're yellow tho

>geographic bee
what

It's the 50 states + their capitals, Saeng

Germans have to memorize the names of all 6 Million killed Jews. Luckily about 50% of them are called Goldstein

nice

>German's aren't funny
>

They aren't

>had to learn all the county names + seats in my state in school
>there are only 15 so it was easy

I'm calling the police

>Living in a flyover land
I can only name about 10 states

Cuck

What's wrong with that? Knowing more about the world is always a good thing, especially if it's your own country.

>tfw know all of them and the capitols because of a cartoon

Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Indianapolis, Indiana?

thats the song. never could memorize yakko's world though

Yakko's world has a fuckload of non-countries (Sumatra, Asia, Tibet, Caribbean, Mahore etc) thrown in and lots of countries left out too

they stretched it to make it rhyme

>Tfw you know all American states but they know nothing about you
The virgin leaf

i know every province and have a decent overview of canadian politics

>know more wards of Toukyou than my surrounding suburbs

It was 60 billion you fucking antisemite!

We could turn california into a non-self-governing territory and then only memorize 49.

Why

>Polish didn't have to memorize their 0 state name

What reality is this?
chicago.cbslocal.com/2014/04/14/fewer-than-50-percent-of-trivia-players-can-name-all-50-states/

>memorize 50+ states
>cant answer what the tallest mountain in the world is

>hawaii isn't even in the top 10
what the fuck

Oh, I know. That's easy.

It's the big island of Hawaii. That's the tallest from base (underwater) to summit. And then Everest is the highest peak. And then the peak that's furthest away from the center of the earth is.. somewhere in peru or south america or something (equilateral bulge pushes peak away from earth's core.)

they are far away islands so people dont think about them as much as the mainland states
yes!
i bet if you asked 5 of your american friends, at least one would say Mt Roushmore

Every country has to learn their region/state
/thread

no

why? i can't point most russian republics and regions on a map especially the ones in eastern russia

Yeah, but when you look at map it should be obvious, like Alaska. There's no way to screw it up, like how some people mix up Kentucky and Tennessee, or Arizona and New Mexico There is nothing to mix Hawaii up with, it's a gimme.

I dunno if they'd say Mount Rushmore, they might say Mt Mckinley though, we learn in school growing up that it is the highest peak in North America.

But I get it. A lot of us don't know shit. Personally I'm more concerned about the fact that most Americans can't name the 3 branches of government, list more than a couple things in the bill of rights, or know anything about our history. And it's REALLY frustrating when these people claim that american history or form of government is bad, when they don't even understand it. That feel when in line to vote and the people in front of and behind you are just like that.

>voting last year for the presidential election
>mfw 2 of the 3 people in front of me in line got rejected for not registering in this county
>same with the person behind me in line
2 of them were registered in CA, and the other was from Phoenix

>Mt Roushmore

That's all of mine, full disclosure took me a full 10 minutes.

Oy vey it was six brazillion, don't you forget that goyim!

Yup, and looking it over I made one mistake, forgot Colima and put Pachuca, a city, instead. Damn

Worst of it is I do fancy myself at being relatively good with geography, I can see how 50 states would be trouble.

It's hard to list them all because you invariably forget a few, but it's much easier to list them all on a map

I'd certainly agree, I was going by regions on my list trying to make a mental map, and even then forgot a few states after I thought I was done with a region which I had to add out of mental order so to speak.

It's a lot easier with a map.

that's not just forgetfulness though, that displays a complete foundational lack of knowledge about what the US even is.

I've always been a bit of a leafboo

A chinaman walks into a bar, sits down, and before he can get a drink a Jew gets up and punches him in the face.
"Wtf was that for", asked the chinaman.
"That's for Pearl Harbor", said the Jew.
"That was the Japanese, I'm Chinese", says the Chinese.
"Chinese, Japanese, Koreanese, it's all the same to me", replies the Jew. He then sits back down.
The Chinese orders a drink, and thinks. He then walks over to the Jew and punches him in the face.
"Wtf did you do that for?", asks Jew.
"That's for sinking the Titanic", the Chinese tells him.
"That was an iceberg", said Jew.
Chinese replies:
"Iceberg, Goldberg, Bloomberg, its all the same to me"

They were college students so it isn't like their opinions mattered anyways
