Man, I gotta say, I hate FedEx with a passion now. Not because of their performance -- I can't blame them for customs, and I can't blame them for the package not making it to delivery today when it started the day out in Hawaii of all places -- but I can blame them for their absolute garbage customer service. Their customer service reps are beyond garbage, they literally cannot tell you anything that isn't already shown to you with the tracking info, and they will sandbag any attempt you make to ask any question about the shipment. Package supposed to deliver in 30 minutes, but it's two states away? "Yes, your package will be delivered by 4:30 today, don't worry." "How?! It's in Tennessee!" "I don't know how, I'm not able to say." "Can you get me to someone who can, then?" "My supervisor is busy at the moment."
I'm at the point where as a matter of course the first thing I do when I have to call FedEx is to immediately ask for a supervisor. There's no point in talking to the customer service reps. They're just garbage.
Anyways, yeah, it sucks that Saeko's delivery slipped into Friday, but it looks like barring an act of God that'll be when she finally arrives. At least she started moving at all, finally. I just wish their customer service was better.

Well there is probably a shortage of drivers due to the holiday, as well as the harsh weather in the middle of the country. It's somewhat unsurprising that the delivery was delayed a little.
It still sucks, but there isn't a lot they can do about it.

Right, which is why once it became obvious that she wasn't on a straight flight from Hawaii to my home city and she was making layovers there was no way she'd be out for delivery today. Once it passed about noon and she still wasn't here I gave up hope, no point in holding on to expectation if it's no longer possible, but the annoying thing is talking to the reps who still insisted on saying it not only could happen but WOULD happen. Because that's what their screen told them. Even though I'm explaining to them that's not how their business works...
It's not even a new delay, either; she made great progress today in getting here. The only delay was just the extended stay in Hawaii due to customs. Had she gotten out of Hawaii 7 or 8 hours earlier, she probably would have arrived today, and it was completely unrealistic of their system and their service reps to claim that a Wednesday delivery was possible given the timing.
Anyways, enough bitching. She'll be here Friday, and it'll all be worth it then.

I'm not mad about missing the delivery. Sad, yes, but not mad. Like you said, that's not their fault. But it is their fault if their system and their reps don't know what their company even does or is capable of and promises things they could never deliver on. That's what got me riled up today. Their system doesn't even try to refactor the delivery date until it misses it entirely; the last supervisor I spoke to said it won't give up until the last truck returns to roost, and only then will it recalculate the delivery date, which is stupid as hell given it was obvious to anybody that a package in Hawaii can't deliver in the midwest same day.
CONSTRUCTIVE TOPIC TIME: How's anal with dolls? Is it something generally given little attention by mfrs, only included to meet 'industry standard'? Does it feel like a slightly tighter but otherwise identical vaginal hole? Does it vary widely by manufacturer? Inquiring minds wish to know.

ive had mine for like 4yrs now, the quality of them is pretty excellent, but they have made a lot of changes since i got mine(noteably less durpy heads)
they are well worth the cost at the size compared to most other 60ish cm fuckdolls. you get a full skeleton with aiko as opposed to just a wire mesh on others and the silicone is nice and durable.

ive had no issues with holes to the skelly, and their skelly is plastic so no issues with rust but you still dont want any trapped water.
i typically just bring it to the shower or sink and hose it out. Heads are just through aikodoll, but the connector on the 60cms should be pretty close to standard for any BJD at that size.

It can, if you're a restless sleeper, are careless, or are very unlucky. Anybody here ever used Retayne to set dyes on clothes before putting them on dolls? I'm reading really good reviews for it from the quilting community, which apparently has issues with dye leakage as well. Basically get some water almost boiling (>140F, typically hotter than a washing machine can go), put your clothes in and a little bit of Retayne, let it set for at least half an hour, and now it's done.

Adult sized dolls are legal to own and import in all US states. In EU, I think only Sweden is starting to come down on adult sized dolls, and even then only very sporadically.
Loli dolls are legal to own in 49 US states (FL) and legal to import in 47 (FL, TN, KY). In the EU, it gets a lot hairier, and I recommend you look up your local laws and statutes before making decisions.
