What's the deal with these people

They are literally able to get away with murder. Nobody can criticize them without being sued to death. Even hollywood jews fear them. Who are they and what are they doing.

scientology is the cruisepill

They do a lot of things I guess, this was posted on Sup Forums at some point back when Sup Forums still had the occasional interesting thread.

What about Tom Cruise. Other then the fact he's a Scientologist

How are they able to get away with this.

Lots of legal documents signing your life away.

Why does no one prosecute them.

scientology is cruise control for cool

they're little babies

They also have tax exemption status.

People with money can get away with anything.

Thumbnail looks exactly like Minecraft

I was raised in a scientology household. ama

Are you still a scientologist. Also you should do an ama thread.

What the fuck is this

I'm not, by age 14 I had noticed that the results didn't live up to the claims. My family is still deeply involved, so I keep my opinions to myself around family while they all go on about their wins on whatever course they're being told will finally fix all their problems that didn't get fixed by the last sure thing.

Some day when I feel like dedicating the time to it I'll do an AMA thread of my own.

Have you read what they believe in? They are quite literally insane, I wouldn't want to encounter them either.

Do you still believe you have AYY LMAO spirits trapped inside you after the great galactic war involving XENOMORPH?

I'm pretty well read on the "higher level" stuff, but 90% of the people active in scientology don't know any of that except what they've heard and tried to ignore from outsiders.

Anything you'd encounter in your first $100k or so is going to be teaching you common sense and calling it wisdom. Since the vast majority of people have no common sense, it can seem quite amazing and revelatory.

I was raised with the basic scientology beliefs that is "you are the spirit, not a body possessing a spirit" No average scientologist knows anything about body thetans, and by the time you get to that point you're pretty deeply invested in believing whatever they tell you.

they're responsible for the largest breach of US Government security in history

their founder Elron used to kick around with the head of JPL nasa Jack Parsons and gang bang chicks together

they're basically wannabe Catholics

nothing special

>Why does no one prosecute them.

they tried and scientologists broke in and stole all the evidence

People say its a money making scheme, which is true, but even deeper down its actually a giant tax exemption scheme for people high enough in the church (ie rich people).

Rich people like tom cruise "donate" money to scientology, get religious parishioner related tax exemptions (which is unique to scientology btw), and have their "donation" laundered back to them (with a small fee taken off the top of course)

Scientology apparently lost their tax exemption status apparently, so that might stir the pot a bit, but we'll see.

They push quite heavily while selling everyone on courses and processing, that its all tax exempt and "would you rather support your church or the government" I've never heard of anyone getting a kick back, and find that unlikely. I don't think the church is going to give back any money to anyone once they put it in, and they're very careful to stay just inside the law and wouldn't risk it.

I should add, that they do have sea org members do various work for the top tier. So you might not get your money back out of it, but you can get lots of free labour for any kind of home repair, washing your car, etc

I almost joined the Sea Org after doing the Purification Rundown; the first part of the "Bridge." They flew me out to LA to that exact building in OP picture. They put me on the E-Meter, asked me uncomfortably probing questions, and had me escorted everywhere. They wouldn't let me leave until I signed the contract. I signed it and said I would be back in 6 months on project prepare and never called them back afterwards.

I put it in the name ffs. It was supposed to be the location of a detainment center at their facility. There is no further evidence to back that up that I am aware of, just saved it in case something popped up.

scientology is literally a beta test for the NWO's technocracy

You're right, the average joe schmuck doesnt get anything. I'm talking the people very high up in the church, like tom cruise, who spend money to ruse in the church, are getting these kickbacks.

This is why so many actors are inexplicably scientologists; the 5% they skim off the millions of dollars they "donate" to scientology is cheaper than taxes they'd otherwise pay, while being much more money than the peanuts they get from poorfags.

Watch it.
It's an eye opening parody.

Scientologists claiming deductions tend to get audited by the IRS every 2 years or so. I don't have any facts to back up my claim and neither do you, but I find it very unlikely. Especially when they can get all the money they want out of the very wealthy members. They are believers, not people in on the scam.

First youtube comment nailed it.

>he talks for 9 minutes and says absolutely nothing

It's actually super-creepy. I don't understand how someone could be that lost in thought.

Did you read any of the books? Were any of them interesting?

You understand money laundering exists as a means to bypass audits sniffing out illegal money? They wouldnt be auditing scientologists that often without a reason.

My parents owned most of the books that were available to the public. Not sure what edition, but with the dust jackets off they were all green. I read all of those. I listened to some of the lectures. Phoenix lectures and whole track tapes get in to some space mumbo jumbo. Whole track tapes are no longer widely available afaik, a little too aliens trapping us in bubbles and whatnot for wide distribution.

Were any of them interesting? That depends on what you're looking for. I'm glad I read it all, because it gives me perspective. A great deal of it was lifted from other religions, philosophies, and some of the early stuff is ripped out of basic talk therapy.

Unless you're coming at it studiously, and trying to see what its all about I would say its boring as hell. If you want to see what crazy things people believe in, you could track down the whole track tapes but watching the south park episode will be a lot more entertaining.

The church has nothing to gain, and everything to lose. They have those wealthy members in the palm of their hand. They record all their confidential auditing sessions. They have dirt on everyone. Why would they take a risk with nothing to gain?

Did you have a favourite ive heard some like the history of man are pretty wacky and funny?

Did your parents have/use a emeter?

History of man is probably the most quoted by people looking for ridiculous statements. Whole track is right up there. I'm more interested in the claimed facts that are blatantly incorrect. If its wacky you want I'm probably the wrong person to ask.

I found all about radiation the most interesting, not because its wacky but because it is so incredibly incorrect scientifically. Ron claimed to have a degree in nuclear physics.

I've got two mark V e meters in the garage. Those are no longer permitted for use. You have to get the latest $8000 meter if you want to do anything now. My mom has one of those. The ones in my garage don't work anymore, the nicad batteries inside need to be replaced and I don't care enough to do it.

I am "meter trained" from doing the m1 co-audit course. The claims when I did it were something like "You'll clear and fully understand every word you've ever misunderstood, making you super intelligent" One of the two meters in my garage was the one I used on that course.

>wannabe Catholics
I always figure these power cults, like the Mormons are just fronts for the Jesuits, the Machiavellian power cult of the last 5 centuries. One of their major modus operandi is go out in the world and pretend to be anything but a Catholic priest or Jesuit, blend in and seek positions of power. The occult mumbo jumbo would come naturally to them after many years of seminary college. Bottomless pit of startup capital coming from the Vatican, agents in all corners of earth...seriously, could it even be anyone else? If it wasn't the Jesuits they would soon be infiltrated and subverted by them. Worst case they just assassinate the big troublemakers. Also, untouchable by law, US Supreme court for example is now majority Catholic tool.

its run by george sorrows as a false opposition group

Then he's doing a terrible job. Its pretty much completely insignificant even in hollywood at this point.
