Fuck. I've been rooting for Bowman ever since he started testing in Xfinity. I was hoping he'd been a fun underdog. Now it just looks like I'm bandwagoning him.
After Brad's comments about the president needing to be at the track every week, and with the whole Carolina Panthers thing happening, and this being Monster's last year as a sponsor potentially, the drivers are getting really pissed about the state of the sport. Expect them to be more antsy, especially Dale Jr because he has nothing to lose, but some active drivers chirping back at NASCAR where in past years they were afraid because of fines.
What if a damn good percentage of the impact force ends up on the windscreen. Would it shatter and impale the driver?

I don't mind it. I think the mounting device can be made a little more gradual so it's not quite as much of an abrupt difference.
I think whatever car Indycar introduces in 2021(If Dallara is capable of that), it will be much more attractive and incorporate the windscreen more naturally. The other bonus is the engine formula will have changed, according to Jay Frye, they're prioritizing "Fast and Loud".
