What is the oldest movie that you can honestly say is your favorite? And by that I mean something you can rewatch at anytime and actually enjoy it.
I had to choose between The Adventures of Robin Hood or The Invisible Man (which both feature Claude Rains) but I have to give it to Robin Hood.
>"Where's your love of risk, fights and adventure?"
The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari (1920).
Never be a point where I cant fire rhis movie up and just smile the whole way through.
'Yeah, well take your dress off and you can stop 12 cars!''
''Ill keep that in mind if we need 12 cars'
Any of the Paramount Marx Brothers movies.
That one is in my top ten GOAT film list.
I always liked that one too. Olivia DeHaviland was probably my first waifu.
Man with a Movie Camera (1929)
The Passion of Joan of Arc is fantastic.
Hound of the baskervilles with Basil Rathbone
The Four White Feathers.
Maybe la Grande Illusion too.
A more honest answer would be Keaton, but I really enjoy a lot of those 1900-1913 kind of short films. They can be very charming
This movie was surprisingly great. A real adventure and joy to watch. Great fight scenes as well
>Olivia DeHaviland was probably my first waifu.
supposedly she was a huge slut
Literally any of the Marx Brothers movies.
Isn't it just called The Four Feathers?
The french version was called The four white feathers.
Guess they wanted to emphasise the cowardice so we'd go see it.
