Hello! I'm a bit of a Tarot Novice, looking for some practice. Thus, Sup Forums, I am offering some free readings! I'm using a three card spread for this one, and there's a couple guidelines for this
1: Remember I'm still new at this, and thus my readings may not be the most accurate 2: One question at a time, it's easier to read a single question than multiple 2a: You may ask unlimited questions, as long as they're one at a time 3: It helps if, when you ask your question, you focus on it. I will when I read, but it is your fate I'm peering at!

I'm currently looking at moving back to an old address, and leaving my family here in a rather dire straights type of situation. I'm currently at least 30% of the houses income. What will happen to my family ties if I make this move?
I'm not sure I'm fellow to anyone with experience, but! Here goes.

So, looking at the spread, there's almost a sense of loss in the first and second cards(Past/Present), and an attempt to recover and be guarded. The King, however, sits confident, having turned his back to, and facing the opposite direction of the other two cards. The impression I get is that things will be difficult if you follow this path, but it will lead into you coming into your own, and perhaps even your family growing from the experience, though it may be a painful time in the interim.
>Six of Swords You are in a state of transition, a physical move, a rite of passage, or a mental shift of some kind. You are leaving behind the familiar and comfortable to venture into the unknown. This is essential for your growth.
>The Chariot, Inverted This is my personal card, so I don't even need to look it up. Connect with your inner strength and power to move forward, Your motivation comes from within, not from any outside source. You can not control everything; sometime it is best to loosen your grip.
>The Hanged Man, Inverted If you are feeling stuck and in limbo, surrender to the process. Trust this period of pause is for the Highest Good. What new perspectives are becoming visible to you?
This reading makes a lot of assumptions about you, but they're pretty strong, so I'm going to lay them out. Your growth is in front of you, but perhaps not in the direction you expect. You have a long way to go for your best future, and perhaps right now, you're playing your cards 'the way you should' in order to accomplish something. Trust in your inner self, don't feel like you need to play all the right notes, and just let go. The currents of fate are carrying you in the right direction if you allow them to.
Haha, I simply meant I'm surprised to see another doing fortunes on Sup Forums. I run Rune casting threads when I have an excess of free time, but I haven't ran any for a good few months now. I should at some point soon, it being Yule soon and all.
As for your reading, it's pretty spot on. I figured it was going to be a proper pain, but if I don't want to go down with this sinking ship of a house, it's something that has to be done. Thank you for the confirmation. If you ever wish for a rune cast, feel free to pop in on the occasion I do mine. They start with this picture most of the time, and for the rare occasions my other half joins, it'll be the same type of picture but with Grey Wolf as well.

After having run a good few, I will give you one bit of advice. Unless you state specifically that you won't answer them, expect to get A LOT of "when will I get gf?" with almost no more exposition then that.

It will, however, mean abandoning something you value, and sacrificing a portion of your time that you may be unwilling to part with. Should you do so, however, it will lead to you becoming a respected authority.
True, but you'll get tired of it after the 50th time in a day, trust me. Plus, it's not terribly good practice, as it's so vague that you're having to interpret so much that the reading itself could go off in a number of ways.

Okay, so this looks like a pretty resounding yes, but it's a yes with caveats. There is a new you awaiting along this path, but it's not one that's going to be handed to you. It's something you're going to build, brick by brick, over a period of time. The Nine of Wands is even wounded, their arm in a sling, suggesting difficulty along the path. However, the one and the nine both involving gripping is a portent that you'll build on what you seize for yourself. You may find yourself standing alone.

You got a very complicated answer to a simple question. To me, it seems to be speaking more to what New Years Eve will lead to, versus what it will be like. The Lovers is often read as a love card, but it depicts the Garden of Eden..there's almost a sense of a new beginning, of the seeds of greatness being planted.

There's something holding you back. That is the overwhelming impression I get from the cards, probably one of the strongest I've seen. The longer you hold onto that, whatever it may be, the more you will hurt. You are being left behind, and it feels like all you can do is watch as your life crumbles to dust. There is hope in the future for you, but it lies entirely uphill, and will involve persevering in your darkest hour. Taking a step out of what's bogging you down may be the hardest thing you'll do in your life, but once you let go completely, make that first step, a journey awaits.
I should hope it does! What I see is a fragment of the picture, and it's up to you to add it to the larger hole. I may be reading the cards, but it's your fate, and only you can really know it.

Your reading sounds a lot like what I've been telling myself. I can feel that I'm being held immobile by something in my life, but I can't seem to identify what it is. I'm an observant person, I've always had an eye for the truth of things, but looking in the mirror now all I see is fog. The people around me seem to know what they want so easily, and even though they don't always achieve their goals they still find ways to be satisfied. It's like I'm reaching for smoke and seeing it flee from my grasp, but then look to others for guidance only to witness the smoke come to them of its own accord.

The cards are usually really cagey about Yes/No questions, and this is no exception. It's really interesting that the first two cards speak of making things happen and sharing of yourself, and then the page comes along and says you'll experience a pleasant twist of fate. All the cards face the same direction, so what occurs will be the result of building on one another. Love won't come as a direct result of your actions, but your actions will lead to it.
I think thats more of a roundabout way of the cards telling i need to stop being so damn shy or nothing will happen

That's a question that, at the end of the day, only you can really answer. I can say it's something that, despite your best efforts, is slipping away from you, something you don't want to let go of but is falling behind you regardless.
Divination isn't a clear portal into the future, it's a light to hold up to the fog, as you say. I really did try to draw a fourth card to answer the question for you, but things remained murky. You have to accept something about your life and surroundings, something intensely personal.

you have to have the user shuffle the deck, you can't do this online idiot. If they don't shuffle the deck then there is no buildup of emotional energy into the cards and therefore you get exactly the results you paid for.
Your readings are as broad as a fucking horoscope. You can't just fucking describe what the card means. I have my manual book for that. Every tarot deck comes with a manual, and if you could just read from the manual then everybody would be a tarot reader.
You have to put these meanings into context, and identify which cards are the individual factors at play in the individual's life, and lead them and walk them through the combat of forces in regards to their question they asked.

to continue, if you don't walk the user through the combat of forces and identify any specific key characters or roles at play, then they can't make a decision in their life. You just gave them vague bullshit. They need to see what the cards are telling them.
