Enlightened. It's much better than it looks.

Big Little Lies

Carnivale

This too. Really great miniseries.

Hell, OP just watch all of their miniseries in the last ten years. They are very impressive.

Big Little Lies barely got talked about here and it was great.

Vice Principals

Generation Kill?
Everyone I've asked about it has never heard of it but I thought it was on par with BoB even though they're completely different

Oz. Quite known but rarely spoken of. Go see it.

Crashbox

I NEED a dollar dollar

Game of Thrones

Treme

Show Me a Hero

This. Not exactly hidden, but I think a lot of people don't give it a chance. Probably one of the funniest shows ever made. Even the "bad" season isn't bad at all.

is that mormon show any good?

>look up the trailer for this
>womanl problems: the show
disgusting

Game of reddit hehe

I only watched the first two seasons and it was pretty great. Which season is the bad one?

this

and this

>>look up the trailer for this
Is this Sup Forums equivalent of "marathoning an album" or are you for real this stupid?

Your mom's porn series

...

Real Sex around the World

John From Cincinnati is the most patrician HBO show, in the sense that it's their closest thing to arthouse, alienated most viewers but it's brilliant. Luck as well.
In Treatment (S1&2) very unusual concept that makes it difficult to binge-watch, should be appreciated one episode per day right before sleep for maximum comfy
Flight of the Conchords, very unique and creative
Spawn, shame they gave up on doing high quality animation after that, American adult animation is always poorly drawn comedies and HBO could have changed that trend

Carnivale, Oz, Generation Kill are must watch, but get mentioned often on the board

Big Love is pretty mediocre but has its moments. Too much soap opera bullshit though.

Looks pretty reddit if that poster is anything to go by

Enlightened
John From Cincinnati
Life and Times of Tim (but I see this get posted occasionally)

This

the second one is my least favorite personally.

REALLY SHIT MINISERIES

>RAPE CULTURE: THE SHOW

HBO ADAPTED THAT BOOK BECAUSE THEYRE PASSIVE AGGRESSIVE MAD THAT HILLARY LOST LMAO

SHOULD HAVE STARRED LENA DUNHAM AS EVERYONE

I agree with you in spirit but it was REALLY well done and the final episode was nothing short of spectacular.

Also they filmed it before the election lol.

Mr. Show isn't "little known".

>Is this Sup Forums equivalent of "marathoning an album" or are you for real this stupid?
Not him but that sentence makes no sense user

In Treatment, Larry Sanders Show.

Tales from the Crypt, everyone has heard of it but not many people have actually watched it

Anything mentioned in this thread except for Big Little Lies, which is not little known, but also "pushed agenda: the show"

Made by active SJWs who talk about bringing the "patriarchy" down on a daily basis. Made for SJWs who actively try to influence forums and other social media stuff.

Its basically their little manifest. I know this because I'm sharing a flat with three of those lunatics.

The wire

Why don't you live on your own?

Sup Forumstants are all idiots.

This show is horrible

Arli$$

In Treatment. Bored to Death.

>Life and Times of Tim

I'LL NEVER GET OUT OF THIS WORRRRRRULD ALIVE

Boardwalk Empire.. it's not necessarily 'little known' but it's certainly not as highly regarded as The Sopranos when IMO It's the superior kino.

youtube.com/watch?v=iEInZnbXHCE

Enlightened, Summer Heights High, John Adams

Togetherness

you're horrible

you're pretty bad too

this

>Ctrl+F "The Leftovers"
>No results

You are all plebs.

Spawn: the animated series

i started it pretty recently, its good stuff

+1

It blew BoB out of the fucking water.

>the final episode was nothing short of spectacular
Tbh it was the worst episode, I mean the way all storylines connected in that one point, it's completely incompatible with the rest of the show that is quasi-realistic (with some mild elements of comedy), while the final is like taken from some soap opera or B class thriller.

DONT BE RETARDED

NOW FOLLOW MY TRACERS

Does Carnivale end with any conclusion? I'm asking because I've heard that the show was cancelled at some point.

It does, but it was supposed to be 3 x 2 season with a generation separating each "part", ending in modern days
So the first part ends, but the whole story doesn't

Pure warkino even if David Simon is a bit of a cuck.

John Adams is great
Opening gives me a freedom boner

Looking

Mr Show

Aha, OK, thanks.

Oz

Trombley and Ray best characters

This show, at least the first three seasons. The third is fantastic. Went off the rails a bit in the last two but it was never bad or mediocre.

Real Sex.
First thing I ever jerked off too.

Vinyl

Vastly superior to Boardwalk Empire in every way and while it ended early the first season functions as a kino miniseries. Accomplishes more in the way of characterization in one season than in five of BE.

this

>Finale ends with "YEAH SON WE GOIN IN"
>gets cancelled

What did they mean by this?

My nigga

Comedykino

Family Tree

Written by Christopher Guest (Spinal Tap) and staring Chris O'Dowd. There are only like 6 episodes, though. Plus I think like 15 people total watched it because HBO did no promotion for it for some reason, even though its one of the funniest shows I've seen. The humor is really dry, though, like I could see people not realizing it's a comedy and thinking its a drama and getting bored because the jokes aren't obvious ones and are mostly set up and paid off later like Arrested Development

I feel like there is so much hidden kino in this thread, pity I only have the attention span to watch camaraderie between characters and pew pew pew violence

>UNITE OR DIE

Sounds like Generation Kill is right up your ally

>bros being bros with each other
>good helping of violence and death
>it's a miniseries so you don't need to make a huge time commitment

GENERATION KILL IS GOOD AS LONG AS YOU IGNORE ITS ANTI MILITARY LIBKUCK SLANT

THE BANTER IS AUTHENTIC AT LEAST

Anyone who hates this show is a pleb

>Family Tree
thanks, user, looks interesting

Unfortunatley it seems in this day and age The Larry Sanders Show is tragically underrated. Garry Shandling was the thinking man's Seinfeld.

I don't think it's necessarily anti-military even if it is anti-Iraq. I think it actually aims to make you sympathise with how poorly prepared the military was to fight this war, and the marines' frustration with the lack of direction and plan for what happened once they reached Baghdad.

This last scene was also incredible and stuck with me for a long time senpai
youtube.com/watch?v=-dFl9OHE-8g

ITS ANTI MILITARY, LIBS LOVE TO SHIT ON THE MILITARY

HBO IS LIB CENTRAL AND THATS WHAT THEIR AUDIENCE EXPECTS

ALSO THE CGI WAS HORRIFICALLY BAD, HELOS LOOKED LIKE THEY CAME OUT OF A PS2 GAME

Stranger Things

>Not good
>Not little known
>Not HBO

Impressive.

It's garnered overwhelmingly positive feedback from Iraq vets as far as I'm aware, it showed more or less what happened, the good and the bad

Fucking hate Reese withespoon

The Comeback

Hung was pretty great.

I miss Tom Jane, that hunk could actually act.

I quite enjoyed the first couple of seasons of Treme. I don't here it mentioned often since it left air.

Also who cares about the CGI? It's a 9 year old show learn to have reasonable expectations. The practical effects were all fairly convincing, they took every measure to make the setting, uniforms, gear, characters and dialogue authentic. You're nitpicking

THEY JUST LIKE TO SEE THEMSELVES ON SCREEN

ITS AN EXTREMELY CYNICAL PORTRAIT OF THE MILITARY INTENDED TO SHIT ON THE MILITARY

Police that moosetache?

this. season 2 is kino

and the netflix reboot

IT WAS JARRINGLY BAD CGI

HELICOPTER CGI IS BASIC AS SHIT AND WAS BEING DONE CONVINCINGLY EVERYWHERE BY 2008

MUST HAVE HIRED THE PRODUCERS RETARDED COUSIN WHOS 'GOOD WITH CYBER'

Netflix reboot when?

seriously this

I'm kind of glad no one really talks about it though, because it undoubtedly would be called reddit

Im surprised no one said Animals

Same. The first season is great. The second season starts off terribly. About halfway through, it improves. Seasons 1, 3, and 4 are great. Lilly Tomlin as Kenny's mother, made me lmao.

THE LIFE AND TIMES OF TIM

WATCH IT IF YOU HAVE NOT

It's a shame about the disgusting animation that drives people away. This show is a masterpiece and should have gotten the recognition that Reddit & Memey or the other big cartoons have. Yeah, it looks like shit, but it doesn't matter. All the characters ever do is talk and the dialogue is 10/10
