The Gospel According to St. Matthew is top-tier kino

>The Gospel According to St. Matthew
It's the preferred Vatican Christkino

Jesus Christ Superstar

A springtime holiday in the Christian religion?

Watching Passion right now.

Gonna watch Risen on Sunday.

Really looking forward to Temptation of the Christ from Based Gibson in 2-3 years. Hopefully Caviezel will reprise the role.

if you haven't seen Kirk Cameron's Left Behind series, you really should treat yourself

Still waiting for Raimi's interpretation of the passion

The Man From Earth

The BBC/HBO Passion minseries from 2008 is great.

The one and only Easter movie
Charlton Heston seminal performance as Moses
Yul Brenner Ramases II
Anne Baxter as sexy Nefritiri
Many other huge stars

Those who will not live by the law ... Shall die by the law

Regardless of Easter and whatnot, actually my favourite movie of all time.

yeah Franco Zeffirellis version is the comfiest

I just watched The Last Passion of Christ with my mom and she kept complaining about how blasphemous it was, then she walked away when Jesus left the cross and had children

Stop LARPing in the forest snownigger

>i-wonder-who-is-behind-this.jpeg

The Greatest Story Ever Told.

It might be a chore at first but you really get a kick out of the performances, Charlton Heston as John the Baptist could be one of his best roles.

Tons of celebrity cameos

Jesus of Nazareth
Gospel According to Matthew

>Bad Lieutenant

top 10 of the 90s no doubt

I would legit unload my balls inside young Anne Baxter as Nefritiri.

>You will be my wife. Whether you enjoy it or not is your own affair. But I think you will..
I legit use that line from time to time.

Not directly about Jesus, but the Last Supper was a passover meal, which commemorated the stuff in this religion kino

This.
I was really surprised how well it turned out and Joseph Fiennes and Tom Felton were great in their roles.
The idea of a roman soldier joining the apostles to watch Jesus ascend to heaven was really cool to see. I guess they were inspired by the story of Saint Longinus the Roman soldier that pierced Christ with the spear and would later convert to Christianity and proclaim the glory of Lord.

...

WHY THE FUCK IS THERE NO JESUS KINO ON TV

Not about Jesus, but Life of Brian is great and JC makes an appearance.

Life of Brian is shit

Life of brian sucks

Batman V Superman
