In my clearly emotional state I managed to convince myself it would be a good idea to go to the Singapore GP. In my work assessment one of my targets was to be more independent (I work with my dad), I figured this was a good way of doing that. The furthest I've ever travelled from the UK is Greece on a school trip and I've never gone on holiday on my own. I'm slightly regretting the decision but I've already told a few people so I'm gonna have to go.
Who's been before? Tips?

If you're planning to go with hopes of bumping in to Mana, don't. I've lived in fantasy worlds before that I tried to cross over in to the real world. It's pretty devastating when you realise it's all only in your head.
Gabriel Hall
I've been to Singapore a couple of times for work, not to the GP though. It's not too hard; you get on a plane you get off a plane. Lots of people there speak decent English. It's humid as fuck so bring enough (light) clothes. The public transport is very good.
Gabriel Sanchez
who is this penis venus?
Luis Cox
The fartest I've been for holiday was Poland, and that really felt "off". Poland isn't even really different climate-wise. I can't even imagine how fucked up Singapore would be
Jace Parker
>tfw the farthest away i've been is Montreal (from Texas)
Brandon Mitchell
>The fartest I've been for holiday was Poland, and that really felt "off"
Because everything was haram?
Bentley Allen
Remember sunscreen.
Jack Richardson
Got to bali instead and get pissed with those aussie cunts on vacation
John Clark
It was "hot" and days were long.
Jaxon Evans
Don't go to Bali Don't associate with the kind of Australian who goes to Bali.
Hunter Flores
No I'm going for myself. She might be there, might not. If I meet her it's a great bonus and I can say thanks. If I don't, who cares I'm at a GP. I don't truly see her as "please be my waifu, I love you".
As I said I want to be more independent and I figured throwing myself out of a comfort zone was a good idea. Also it's a nice goal to work towards as I'm trying to improve myself mentally and physically this year.
Anthony Lee
Is hot weather and long days haram?
Elijah Brown
You can do it WAGlad
Liam White
Read: 34C instead of 29C
I chose a horrible (or blessed, considering it broke records inmy country too) time to travel though. When I came back, it was 20 in Poland, 35C in Turkey. Both are really off to 29C summers with 15C nights I'm used to here. Considering Britland's stable temp, he would have a harder time adapting.
William Gray
Plan and book everything important well ahead, mind the Singapore laws as they are strict af.
Singapore is safe, lots of people speak English. The flight might be boring and you probably have to switch planes on the way.
Ethan Stewart
Been to Singapoo, pretty easy people speak English. its hot and humid and really weird how clean and tidy everything is. I wouldn't necessarily go there on holiday I don't think theres much there but if you are going for the GP it should be pretty fun.
Brandon Robinson
Follow your hopes and dreams user

I remember when I went to London a couple of years ago in August, stayed there for around a week and got used to the chill climate, on the flight back for some reason I only had my t-shirt and I was concerned I would have been cold as fuck as soon as I stepped out of the plane considering it was also in the middle of the night and the airport was fairly north/high altitude. Then when I breath the damp static air of my country I realized that despite the airport location and time of the day Italy is quite hot and it was even warmer than the hottest day I had in London
Alexander Edwards
>switch planes
Nah just go direct from Heathrow or Manchester
Kayden Jenkins
Manchester definitely.
A train down to heathrow would probably end up cost about half the flight anyway.
Angel Reyes
>live in Morecambe area >fly from Heathrow not Manchester >ever
Carter Kelly
I'm fucking jealous go it. I would be doing something like this if I didn't feel like there was a hole in my intestinal lining and I could eat food. You have to do shit like that I can't right now go enjoy yourself and possibly fuck girls their.
Tyler Ortiz
When I came back, it was a fucking heatwave. Broke all time records by literally 4C. It was 40C in Istanbul when it was supposed to be 28-32C. Meanwhile in Poland I was freezing to death in th airport because they didn't have heaters, daytime 20C, night like 10C. 15C difference from 3 weeks ago.
Sometimes I think Turkey isn't that much of continental. I'm not talking about coastal areas, the town I live is basically "shielded" by mountains and 930m elevation.
Nolan Cox
I don't know where Waglad lives or what his vehicular situation is. He talks about getting the train to Morecambe games.
Either way direct flights exist from first world countries to Singapore was the main point I was making
Jason Nguyen
>another school shooting in murifatland
All memes aside this shit makes me sad as fuck. How can getting an education be dangerous?
Lincoln Smith
>He talks about getting the train to Morecambe games.
No I haven't. I get a lift from my dad as I take him and my mum along because they can't really go see their childhood teams. If he isn't available we get a bus.........because I can't drive.
Luis Evans
>because I can't drive this triggers the german
Carter Howard
>He talks about getting the train to Morecambe games.
Does he? He said that he walks past a church in Lancaster on his way back from work
Lucas Richardson
>because I can't drive
Should spend money on getting a car and your drivers license instead of a holiday desu. Would get you out in the world a lot more.
Robert Bennett
>can't drive >tfw legs don't work and can still drive
Is Waggers underage?
Blake Campbell
anyway, I'm pretty sure Singapore has good public transport
James Hill
>liberty offering fans track days with the drivers
I'm sure the experience of being with Alonso as he decides he's had enough and pits the car will be thrilling
Leo Gray
go at least for shits and giggles (on our end of course) if you can afford it but I'd ask around on /trv/ first
Jacob Garcia
You forgot >slap sponsors and brands anywhere with no regards to the brands requirements for logos
Aaron Rogers
>launching a white and red livery for a ferrari engined back marker after Alfa already called shotgun
Rude
Jose Williams
Non driving people need to get out of /f1/. This might be a bully free general but being independent means to command your own (motorized) wheels. Seriously, get yourself a license and a car. They cost next to nothing in your weird mirrored country (when buying used).
Tyler Cooper
>because I can't drive. pic related
Evan Rivera
non bull zone
>unless you eat ass, have wheelchairs or like fish eyed dancer girls
Alexander Myers
This. Driving is up there with cooking, cloths washing, ironing, and doing dishes in terms of basic life skills in any developed nation.
Christian Davis
Note spelling and English are not.
Adam Morales
He's underage lads
Christian Evans
I have a license but why buy a car when I can buy comic books
Jacob Robinson
No I just never have learnt. And my current living situation doesn't make having car that necessary. I know, I'm a burden on everybody, you won't be living with your parents in a shoebox forever, you'll constantly be asking for favours and you can't get out...I know.
Also because of my job I have to be quite pro-public transport.
Charles Scott
I have a licence but I use the public transport because I have a condition
Samuel Wilson
jesus that's even worse if true. He should get laid and then acquire a car.
I still like you, sidf guy.
that reminds me: where did the anime poster German go?
Evan Lewis
>where did the anime poster German go just be glad he's gone while it lasts
Sebastian Peterson
Can we agree to bully waglad until he buys himself a cheeky little hatchback to drift in asda's carpark?
David Howard
Just opened pistonheads and saw a barrage of used Bentleys for under 10k Teabucks. I would be tempted, but sadly I don't own a repair shop.
Sebastian Morales
how come so many people comment here despite there's no race?
Gavin Adams
and the parts cost. wew
Grayson Phillips
uh oh
Justin Jackson
How come so little people comment in /MotoGP/ despite there's a race?
Samuel Evans
Now we know that WAGlad is underage b& since he still hasn't got his license....how old is everyone else here?

Bentley Green

Baha's fall from lovable gimmick scamp to someone we instantly abuse the second he steps into a thread has been spectacular. Is he the Alonslow of /f1/?

looks okay desu
Kevin Ross
Took me about 2 or 3 days until I was fed up with him.
Christopher Rivera
Kino doesn't care about the cars Kino cares about the madmen driving said cars
