Swahili speaking user from East Africa here. The phrase "Sisi ni sawa" is grammartically incorrect. It literally translates to "We is the same". "Sisi tu sawa" is much better since it translates to "We are the same".
This is because 'Ni' implies 1st person and 'Tu' implies 2nd person.

Lion King (the first one) is a great movie. Just a little weird that the prominent African songs are South African and the movie is set in East Africa. I don't intend on watching the new one.
Simba's Pride is quite interesting too. Still like the first one better.
Lion King 1.5 is kinda funny. I like it though.
Lion Guard is fucking fantastic. They do a great job of showcasing East African wildlife to kids (and adults) in ways that Docus can't. I really like their use Swahili catchphrases. They really do a great job with that. The story is also fantastic. Kinda 'real' for kids though (like how Ono goes blind).

yeah lion guard is great, even though they did botch a lot of things up, it's still really good, they did put a lot of effort into it
season 1 started a bit tame and repetitive, but they did manage to up it in the later seasons

yeah that's in season 3, they turned up the seriousness of it and showed quite a bit of mature themes, i kind of liked it, and they could've copped out and went with ono doing a full recovery, but they didn't, while he could see pretty well, his vision was still bad, he did get a different role though

I liked 1.5 because I was curious about T&P's origins. In the 1st movie, they look like Deus ex Machinas that swoop in out of nowhere to save Simba at his (then) lowest point. The 1.5 takes care of that.
