More teeth? Its an overacted musical about a parody of Las Vegas set in hell. It’s aimed squarely at people who liked invader zim as teenagers. This has zero teeth. At least in Rick and Morty the family members sometimes react to the insanity in realistic ways. I can’t imagine empathizing with this trash on any level.

Imagine working on a pilot for a minimum of 2-3 years, to only to market the easily gullible man and women children on Tumblr and Reddit. Not only that, I felt like the animation was to much and found myself re-watching a lot of scenes to catch every detail. Also the line with for the line art is pretty inconsistent.

Overall, I liked it. I'd say it's surprisingly well put together considering the rag-tag manner in which it came about.
Premise is interesting.
Characterization is pretty solid for the main cast. Musical numbers were alright, functional. Background music otherwise was competent. Art style is pretty much what you'd expect from VivziePop. She has a very distinct style.
Blends a little edginess with some progressive undertones... but not in an overbearing way so it's alright.
I want to give it an 8/10, but I'm just impressed that the thing was even made, so 9/10.

Although your point about his character flaws is valid, his feats are very Mary Sue-ish... He is just one of infinite Ricks, almost all of which are apparently noteworthy for their intellect and capabilities. Yet, somehow, they are all shown dying, be it in dramatic or mundane fashion - while he perseveres.
Him being "the Rickest Rick" is his plot armor, which is some form of Mary Sue-ism in context; how else to explain it in in-world logic?

A mary sues don't have flaws. Death is not the only form of "losing," either. Rick loses. Even in Pickle Rick when Rick is pulling off all this crazy shit as a pickle the entire premise of the episode is Rick didn't want to go to family therapy and would rather do all this other shit to get out of it and still he winds up in family therapy at the end -- a loss.

Considering how it came to be, I'll give them props. I do like the animation style, although at times it can be inconsistent due to the multiple animators. It felt like the pilot was establishing this newly made world and not just plopping us into an already existing place. Helluva Boss was a much better pilot, but I'm looking forward to their future work. Most of the jokes didn't land for me, but my humors pretty retarded so idk.
