Tokyo 2020

Five new sports will be at the 2020 Olympics:
>Skateboarding
>Baseball / Softball
>Sports Climbing
>Surfing
>Karate

Which ones would you watch? What country has the best chance of winning them?

Anthony Recker will be leading the charge for USA baseball.

None of those are real sports
Olympics should be on /asp/, so should the Winter Olympics

Stonerplank is not a sport, no matter how much America bribed the IOC

They need to have Taekwondo vs Karate competition

More sports for the us to stat pad with women's golds

Weren't some of those sports in the olympics before? I vaguely remember baseball/softball being a sport back in the day

Climbing? Like Speed rock climbing? That would be fun to watch.

would watch all except surfing

Professional wrestling

Yeah, Athens had it back in 2004, but it turned into a disaster after the games because nobody in Greece plays baseball - so the whole stadium got turned into a huge refugee camp.

>2 More Free medal sports for the US
Who makes these decisions?

>skateboarding
>sports climbing
>surfing
>bmx
>golf
>belonging to olympics
didn't gooks also tried to replace wrestling with some shooting discipline that only gooks play so they get more medals at home? why is olympic committee allowing this bullshit?

honestly all of them except baseball because I already watch a million baseball games a year and it'll probably be like the football part of the Olympics with just kids. Olympics is time for nationalism in meme sports, what even is sport climbing? it'll be great

why does everyone love snowboarding but then hate stonerplank? it's basically the same thing to a casual viewer, just gonna watch dudes do some cool tricks on a board and get judged arbitrarily in just the right dose before it gets monotonous and unimpressive

>>Baseball / Softball
But that was in Beijing

We currently have the best guy in the world in combined sport climbing.

If I'm correct, the way they're doing the event is three climbing events, and the one that does best in them all gets the medal. It should be speed climbing, bouldering, and lead rope.

And the Canadian, Sean McCaul (sp?) is the best at the combined. He isn't the best at any one individually, but he does the best at all three.

They got rid of it for the last two. Olympic sports change all the time

Japan is huge favorite in olympic baseball, you're wrong.
It won't be like the WBC

Might watch climbing, rest are shit.

>everyone love snowboarding
'no'

>Skateboarding
>Baseball / Softball
>Sports Climbing

those sound nice

Stoked for all of those.

I'm a little nervous the olympics might be spread too thin, though.

I'm talking about skateboarding and surfing.

Dunno about surfing though to be honest. Probably some really good 'strayans or something.

Basically what thought when i heard someone say skateboarding is underrated.
How are skateboarding tricks more worthy than soccer freestyle tricks ?

>sports climbing
do they mean bouldering by this?
if so absolutely stoked. nice and cool sport. one of the few where men's and women's competishun are equally as enjoyable. havent been able to discuss bouldering since the wrestling takeover of /asp/

Oh man olympics are actually exciting again. Good shit

>Baseball / Softball
Japan
>Sports Climbing
Japan
>Karate
Japan

(^^)

Usually jap banter is good... SAD!

>Skateboarding
Muricah
>Baseball
Nippon
>Sports Climbing
Mexico
>Surfing
Peru
>Karate
Glorious Nippon

Plus the timezone is gonna be a pain in the ass to watch some events

skateboarding and surfing

SoKo will be fun for boreswing. They will be playing for exemptions from military service. Any medal will do for that.

Surfing, definitely. comfiest sport to watch.

>Sports Climbing
If they put 8 competitors simultaneous on the wall with no lanes, I'd be all in.

>Anthony Recker will be leading the charge for USA baseball.
Who is Anthony Recker? I don’t think he’s a MLB player. Perhaps that will serve him well in the Olympics.

I actually can't wait until 2020. Because of the opening ceremony.

Anthony Recker is a third string catcher with a large feminine ass.

I'm actually going to attend the park skateboarding final, maybe the street final too, also at least one USA baseball game

Git gud or stay SEETHING

>Anthony Recker is a third string catcher with a large feminine ass.
What do you mean by “large feminine ass”? How can a man have a feminine ass?

go ask this guy

Surfing and Skateboarding should be fun.

>go ask this guy
Why him?

It's larger than you would expect for a masculine man.

Because japan invented the modern feminine man

>It's larger than you would expect for a masculine man.
How is his ass like a woman’s? What have people said about his ass?
