have any little boys been touched

You don't seriously buy into that shit do you?

Not as far as i know. A few years ago we had a scandal with a prominent female member who turned out to abused another female years before it came out

I seriously do, god bless you my friend. I hope you have a good midwinter

Are you going to spill some pig blood or virgin girl blood?

No offerings here. Jesus was the ultimate offer that removed any barrier between man and God. He did away with all the obstacles, offerings, other covenants.

Fuck you.

ora pro nobis lucifer

during advent, when do you have to fast?

I hope you find peace and witness a piece of Gods love these days.

You should not worship any other gods. God the lord is a Jealous God. He alone deserves all the praise, and all worship.

We do not fast in our church as a rule. Some people refrain from eating delicacies for a time. As soberment, there's no rituals or dogma's connected to it.

Any more questions? The sermon is almost over!

how to become the priest?

ever had a dead person confirm your theories about the afterlife?

what hyms are you singing?

Apply to a katholic church. Im in a non denominational church l, we dont have priests

There's been stories yes. But nobody that i know personally

Gospell. '10000 reasons' for example

Sorry i was out for a spell there, the service ended and there was coffee and talks and stuff. Still here to answer questions if people are interested.

Does it bother you that the real life story that inspired the communion ritual is a starving mother who ate her son?

seminary school

Not aware of this. The communion that we celebrate every first sunday of the month is in remembrence of Jesus Christ's last supper, his sacrifice on the cross and his resurrection.

And he took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them, saying, “This is my body given for you; do this in remembrance of me.” In the same way, after the supper he took the cup, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood, which is poured out for you.
Luke 22:19-20 NIV

Yeah probably

ask anyone if they have Jesus' phone number so u can ask him on a date

Right, but the story of the last supper was inspired by cannibal Mary.

Her son became a human passover lamb, which inspired the passover lamb of Christianity.

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mary_of_Bethezuba

every event in Jesus' ministry is dark satire of events Josephus recorded in his "wars."

You don't need a Phone, you can pray and he will live in your heart, if you open the door for him.

Seems like an aweful tale. I'm happy to be celebrating it differently. Interesting tale and history though, shame there is little source material about it.

The bible is a book of many condensed truths that were lived, learned, and relived and relearned trought the entire world and history.

Catholic or Protestant?

Technically protestant since i'm not catholic. But the best name i eould give it in my case is Nondenominational/baptist. It's*less religion based and more personal faith based.

Fallout 3 had it right

I tried watching legion season 3.

Legion season 2 was so insane that i didn't believe anything i saw for the first 7 episodes.

And then when they told me david was a rapist i also couldn't believe it.

The way season 3 is going there doesn't look like there will be a turn around on that either. They've just had our main character turn stupidly, cartoonishly evil with no suitable explanation.

I don't understand what they were thinking at all.

God IS Satanic and all churches and religions are evil sects
pagans are even dumber

David was extremely sinful. It is very hard for me to understand the old testament. Often i see old testament characters like David as an example of humanity itself, as opposed to divinity. David also tried his very best to worsjip god as well as he could. Many psalms are beautifull written by him.

However i personally try to stay away from media that reduces demons, the devil as described in christian scriptures. I find that just as often they are misrepresented as cheistianity itself.

I personally disagree, and i hope that you may find Gods love one of these days. But with the darkness in ghe world i understand your stance.

I dislike religion and sekts just as much as anybody else. I wouldnt consider myself religious.

Religion is something of man, not of God.

Asking you to pray for us all.

I have done and i will. There is much fun to be had on Sup Forums, but i see a lot of people who have list their ways, or turned to bitterness and hate. I hope 2020 will be a year of good choices, made with love that we have received to pass on to one another.

Does Sup Forums have a dark version?

Sup Forums is pretty dark in my opinion. Mainly due to the anonimity of posters and lack of consequence for posting abhorrant shit. But its a lot of fun too, often.

The divide between good and evil runs straight trough every person's soul. So everything we do is prone to evil. It's about making good choices, not about ignoring evil.

Do you like wasting every sunday morning and having only one day in the week where you can sleep in?

I chose poorly when randomly picking a thread to start talking in.

On which day of creation did God create evil? We know God had to create evil at some time because a) evil exists; b) God is the Creator of all things; c) by the time Adam and Eve got to the Garden of Eden, evil exists in the form of poisonous fruit found in the Garden of Eden and lying snakes that sought to do Adam and Eve harm.

So on what day of creation did God create evil? And why would God create evil - and then promise in the Bible to make a world without evil?

The irony is only homeless and rich people have the time for this shit.

The working class is busy - you know- from working.

It's not a waste in my opinion. I get to worship my God, learn how to live my life and how to practice my faith. I also see my friends and family. I get to play music and sing to my hearts content. I go there voluntarily. Just like you would voluntarily sleep in.

I also don't got to church every week. Sometimes i choose to sleep in too

Sorry to hear you didn't like my answer.

These are very good questions i wish i hsd answers to. It comes down to ghe question what evil is on its own. Often i understand this by remembring that the shadow prooves the sunshine. Satans victory over Adam and Eve would be a symbolic tale about the partial evil nature of man.

I often don't try and reason or attempt pure logic with God. Man simply cannot comprehend these things. Like an Ant cannot comprehend the workings of Man, Man cannot comprehend the workings of God.

I will not pretend i have satisfying answers. Its for me personally the harder part of faith.
Im not rich nor homeless.

My church, and many churches are filled with working class people, poor people and well-off people.

It is easier for a camel to pass trough the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God

I don't work every morning on weekdays, but. Besides that is the su day service at 10.30, not too early.

I bet you believe in the Tooth Faerie and Santa too, huh.

No, i don't. But that is funny

>I often don't try and reason or attempt pure logic with God. Man simply cannot comprehend these things.

That's just bullshit logic people use to give all this some legitimacy. I respect you striving to be a great person. Truly, I do. But hear: if we were given brains as powerful as we have and yet simply "cannot comprehend" these things, all while being taught we were created in God's image and are God's perfect creation, then God's perfection has a glaring flaw and as such, then, so does God.

Are you sure GOD didn't kill Jesus because He is a jealous God?

Where does it say to break with tradition.. it says he died so you could "get back to what you were doing" e.g. being Jews and sacrificing things
.>priests would eat the temple offerings

Well like i said too; it's a very good question that i wish i had answers too. I simply don't.

Maybe some very wise people do have the answer, and i would love to hear about it. but i don't know.

The fact that i'm going to church, and tell people about it doesn't mean I profess to know all these things. I cannot give somebody faith or take it away, that's something between anybody and God.

Jesus is God.

Jesus his sacrifice is the core of the new covenant, one that did away with the old.

If you are truly interested i would advise reading the book Hebrews, it's the most comprehensive biblical answer. the New International Version is the most readable one.

biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Hebrews 1&version=NIV

to add to what i posted here: This notion would't change my faith or change the fact that the Bible describes the best way to live your life, and to live with God.

So i suppose i'm not too concerned with the answer either. You could see it as playing dumb, or just staying faithful. That's up to others.

>the first part

Friend, that's where I think it all falls apart. You and other believers and preachers preach about God and service and believing, and yet when questioned, say you don't know but hope someday you and I both will. Then what exactly are you preaching? You admit to preaching a story that may or may not be true, and when questioned about it, start flipping it to around innocent. I don't understand the draw. I still say, with conviction, I do admire your desire to be better in general. I'm not sure blindly following and retelling tales as truths, then saying "we simply cannot understand it" when questioned, is an effective way to do it.

Well you could argue that faith is also dumb. Faith is basically believing and following something with zero evidence or solid, repeatable proof. It's not difficult to understand that, yeah, that's pretty dumb.

do you REALLY believe that the bible describes the best way to live your life? or do you just say it does because it makes you feel good, i would guess you dont take the bible too literally either, you just pick and choose the parts you like and follow those.

Attached: bible.jpg (700x836, 78K)

Yeah, i understand your point of view. can't really contest it with logic or reason.

I can't simply not believe it. To me it's truth, and i would happily share that truth.

Preaching isn't the way to God. It's living your life with god, loving him above all else and your neighbour like yourself, that's the way to God. it's the way of Jesus.

I live my life the way the bible describes God intentions. So far i haven't found anything that tops that honestly. I think the fact that the word 'Inperfect' exsists is why we have a notion of Perfection, i.e. God.

If god designed mindless drones to follow him, it would'nt have been true love. it would've been mindless servitude. God gave us a free will to chose to follow him. and those that do will live a life that he inteded for us.

Besides, i think that any christian that just lives his life to get into heaven is pretty selfish and stupid. You live your life to worship God, wether it is temporary or eternal.

Jesus his life is in the Bible, and Jesus is the way, the truth and life. the only bridge to God.

so yes, i do believe that living according to the teachings of Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life.

It's not an easy read. especially the old Testament, it is sometimes frustrating, hard, or even hilarious. It is the history leading up to the New testament.

but you arent just reading and following it, you are judging the content with your own moral code and only following the parts that you think are moral.
you are following YOUR morals, YOUR truth and YOUR way of life, not the bibles.

Would you say he is still the same God in the old testament that offered wives to homosexuals to see if anyone were righteous?

And unlike what Paul said, does it not validate tolerance of queers?

>I can't simply not believe it.
belief isnt a choice you got that right, but you can affect it, by being honest and doing research with an open mind, but you probably dont want to, so you never will free yourself of this curse.
im sorry

The bible is a book that is the word of God, and i treat is as a book written and compiled by the hand of God, through man. I never said it's an easy read, or an easy life for that matter.

It is joyful though

I will have to leave now though, I have much left to do today. since i've been here answering for a solid 3 hours now.

I hope my answers were at the least interesting. i've tried to be as straightforward and honest as i could be.
I'll close with this:

Revelations 22: 20-21
He who testifies to these things says, “Yes, I am coming soon.”

Amen. Come, Lord Jesus.
The grace of the Lord Jesus be with God’s people. Amen.

Merry Christmas and a Happy newyear

it makes me feel sad to see people this poisoned.
you just repeat what you have been told without questioning it.
i bet you cant even give a good answer to the question WHY do you believe?

Shut up moot

Can't cross that bridge with the top of the cross blocking the path. Thanks, God.

That's because it's cursed
