Alright anons, I need some genuine browser recommendations.
I've been using FireFox forever now, feels like. Yeah yeah I know, shit browser, bad taste, etc. Thing is, I've never had any issues with FF. So it's been a "ain't broke, don't fix" kinda thing. That also has invited "yeah but you don't know what's good/better". In any event: I have fiber at my house now, and I feel FireFox just cannot handle it. My browsing speeds/experience have not changed at all. And over the past 5 or so FF updates, I swear things have become SLIGHTLY slower.
In any event, I think it's time I start experimenting with other browsers. I don't have a ton of requirements. Tabbed browsing, bookmarks/favorites, ability to save site entries, and it would be nice to be able to customize it... but that's not a deal breaker.
I am willing to try other browsers if you genuinely use and recommend them.
I've never even heard of this one. Care to sell its merits?
Wyatt Phillips
I've tried Chrome once, forget the reason I went back to FF. What about Opera? Is that one any good?
Daniel Bell
Try Google Ultron
Jose Lopez
Send HTTP requests via terminal you fucking faggot
Tyler Brooks
it's based on chrome but there is a whole ton of devs working on it. It's basic and quick, get's the job done great. Its best feauture might be to be able to take any videostream and make it as a popup floating video, this way you can do any sort of other task while watching what you want
Elijah Stewart
wow
Angel Campbell
Despite my OP pic, I'd also be open to maybe "fixing" FireFox to run faster/better?
Bentley Morris
You're willing to switch browsers to get that extra 0.08 seconds of page loading speed? Maybe things seems slower because you've had a stroke? Use FF if you care about privacy, Chrome if you do web development. Stay away from Edge, Opera and other gay shit.
Josiah Cruz
i use internet explorer 11 with addblock on pc, in the rare event a site won't respond properly even with compability mode enabled i switch to brave (but the font is horendouss, always pixelated) . On mobile i use brave, since ff made that horrible update where all addons broke for a while, couldn't block ads, couldn't play audio in the background. I dont know if ff fixed the addon issue or not on mobile, but I'm not turning back.
Use brave
Aiden Morgan
Brave.
Isaiah Martinez
Brave
Owen Myers
This. Brave has adblock preinstalled, blocks trackers, and starts you out with DuckDuckGo as the search engine.
Carter Miller
Vivaldi.net, have all ur req. Abd sync to mobile app ø
Kayden Jackson
This deserves trips. OP is a true faggot.
Gabriel Adams
the thing is: there is no other usable browser. everything else is just forks or reskins of firefox or chrome with various levels of placebo. or it uses the webkit which is objectively worse than ie6's trident engine.
firefox is and will remain the best browser until we have a new browser with a new engine written from scratch, which is unlikely to happen since it's way easier to tinker around with already existing code. >inb4 palemoon (it's obsolete furry shit)
Landon Perry
All intelligent of you all browsers that are based on "chrome", when chrome is based on chromium... Guess why, thoabout browsers in general: chromiumbased browsers (chrome etc...) Will support aall same plugins and you can use the chreome web store on all of them (see it as same browser different skin), Firefox got great support and still used by many people, many web devs using it because of ftp incorporation for data transfer to servers, opera... Used it back in 2008 and was fastest for that period of time (symbian os was still a thing).. edge and i.e. is just crapware, all other unkown browsers stay away as they can be risky (malitious software incorporated)
Ryan Wood
>the thing is: there is no other usable browser.
This. Everything else is spyware.
Christian Williams
What's wrong with Opera? I use it for only one site, a chatroom that loads best using this.
Daniel Walker
Firefox is one of the best choices tho fag Do not use any blink based browsers, they are all developed by google That means no: >Chrome >Opera >Vivaldi >Brave >Edge Just use Firefox with Ublock and HTTPS everywhere extensions Or go full gigachad mode and use qutebrowser, any other browser is provably shit
Joshua Bailey
...and Privacy Possum. Those three are the holy triforce of extensions. everybody should have those three installed in firefox
Ian Reed
>I have fiber at my house now
clearly you're 12 and you don't know that you're limited both by the server sending the shit and the whole infrastructure to connect that server to your fiber. Your top speed will always be equel to the slowest bottleneck between that server and your pc.
Also, don't forget that if you're using wifi, wifi is a bottleneck as well (54-108 mbps "theoretical", 10-20 mbps practical).
Oh, maybe we forgot to take into account the software running on your pc/cellphone (you know, pages have to be "rendered"), and the server software generating those pages (you know, fetching data from some database, verifying layers and permissions and shit, compressing headers, etc)
>TLDR: firefox is slightly slower than chrome, yet it doesn't phone google to tell google your shit
Agree. It's about the wifi adapters you have to your phone or pc, that is a bottleneck. If you're connected through cable it is important to see the ethernet card specs.

Opera tends to have rendering issues. I make websites for a living and they always need special treatment on Opera. Chances are, if you're visiting a site that isn't fully tested, it will render differently than intended. It also makes our job easier if you stick to 1-2 browsers, so we don't have to figure out fallbacks for every different one.

>using a browser developed by a furry
Caleb Price
furries are pedos. They need to have thier stuff safe
Wyatt Bailey
i personally think it's a marvelous idea to unironically use a browser that is forked from obsolete firefox code and claim it better because of it.
Dominic Young
Have you seen how the author and his alleged gay furr lover behaves publicly? I ain't using that shit
Aiden Robinson
is there a link? i've suspected moonchild to be degenerate a long time
Isaac Harris
Brave browser. Period.
Grayson Cook
>crypto-based ponzi scheme >advertising friendly >uses a hardcoded adblock+ no thanks
Liam Nguyen
Whatever you do, just don't use Chrome.
Carter Wilson
redpill me on privacy possum. I've never heard of it before
Dylan Johnson
Bruh you forgot about noscript. Literally the most important extension for security. Even more useful than antivrius.
Jason Jackson
also developed by a company in China.
Yeah that's gonna be a no from me dawg
Connor Morgan
pp is fucking amazing. it blocks all common tracking methods, including the sneaky etag. if you don't have go get it now: >addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/privacy-possum
Jeremiah Brown
Chrome is a good browser. Sure there are bitcoin miner codes in it and also tracks your browsing. But its stable.
Austin Johnson
Brave is based on Chromium, and so are other viable alternatives like Vivaldi, Opera, and soon even Microsoft’s Edge. So basically anything that is based on chrome will be mining your meta data.
Luke Price
I don’t i’m looking for them. I know she has some though
