This season could've been amazing. The All Out War arc and building up to it in the comic is addicting to read. Leave it to the writers though to fuck up a season this bad.

The build up to All Out War is played out so much better in the comics. The first and last episode really were the only decent episodes. There was WAY too much filler.

This is even worse than how Season 3 ended where they used A-Team tactics against the Governor's army and then the guy bails after gunning down his own people.
How the fuck did they NOT shoot out the tires in the truck Negan was in? Kill the head, the body goes. Nothing happened this season except Glenn and Abraham dying, stupid alliances with other groups, Sasha committing suicide, and Eugene joining the Saviors. Next season is gonna drag on with the war.

I think it's only like 15–20 miles, Tara and Heath were just gone a while because they were scavenging everywhere along the way so it took about a week to get out that far.

this was the worst season of the show, even worse than season 2, it was so unbelievably pointless. It ended at almost the same spot it started. We knew there would be war. There was nothing exciting about the build up. Zero twists, zero tension. The finale had a chance to redeem the season somewhat by having an epic battle between all the factions but.... no one aside from a few redshirts died. Absolute garbage.
Negan is interesting, but I think I still prefer TV Governor, his s4 arc was great. Negan seems a little tryhard at times.
I think ultimately this show has just been going on for too long with no end goal in sight. Its just getting more and more tiring, predictable and recycled.
