I started with this and Dark Souls 3. I tried Dark Souls 1 & 2 after and tried to like them... couldn't. Too slow and clunky.

you mean father gascoine ? he is easy. just stay out of the way when he attacks. he attack combos are long. Sekiro on avarage is slightly harder but both have some of THE hardest bosses in the series. Father Gascoine doesn't even come close. but to each their own. i had no problem with lawrence, where most people got fucked.

Just parry him and crit him over and over, there is also a music box you can use to stun him when he transforms. You should probably dump all your points into hp if you are bad at the game btw. Y'know for when the tutorial ends.

you shoot your gun the SECOND they attack.
Gascoigne is the best first boss in the history of soulsborne. His parry timing in man form is super easy to get down. Beast form less so, but still doable. Find his daughter, get the music box. Can be used 3x in man form for an easy visceral, and once after he transforms. Weak to fire. Also you can glitch him into the stairs of you're especially hopeless.

OP here, not that anyone cares but I just beat the father. Only fuck. I tried to use the gun to parry and managed to just fuckin waste him. Fight ended up being ridiculously easy. Thanks a million Sup Forums you may now all resume jacking off

Sekiro is the toughest at first while you're still unlearning everything souls has taught you and becoming used to the patterns of the enemies, but once you've gotten the timing of anything ingrained into your soul it becomes really extremely easy. I haven't touched that game since i traded it in after platinuming it but i know i could blow through it easily if i ever wanted too
Fighting the same boss but this time with your hp cut in half doesnt count as the said boss being hard. Chalice dungeons felt more like a chore than a game. Did them just for achievments and never went to them again.

for me what i did is bait him uptop of the stairs were you leave then jump next to him and do this while getting some blow at him after like 5 to 10 min ur done
In dark souls you parry when the attack ends in bb you parry when it starts
There are several bosses in chalice dungeons that aren't found anywhere else. Watchdog, Yharnam Queen...

But couldn't beat ng+ in bb on my high lvl. I'm horny for souls games. But bloodborne is the most challenging

Nigger, no amount of artificial difficulty is gonna make the boss harder, just more tedious. Sure the new content in the dungeons is nice, but having to go through 5 bosses that you already beat before is just boring.
Whats hard and whats not is subjective. My pick for hardest of the series goes to DS1. Bloodborne is like somewhere in the middle, Code Vein and Sekiro being the easiest ones

Bloodborne and sekiro seem a bit easier to me, because the player is more mobile.
its the same fucking boss that you fought before. You just have 50% hp. How is the boss itself harder? Might as well just go to regular Amygdala without adding points to Vit. I don't remember her having any additional attacks in that dungeon.
Use the music box when he turns into werewolf form and he stops attacking (you get it from optional side quest) just google how

get inside
spam them because he can't get in

Just dodge left for most enemies, play aggressive, learn to parry.
