My 5month old chihuahua keep biting my hand and arm very hard.. I'm losing patience I tried substituing with toys and it doesnt work she keep biting and biting very hard.. I started to hit her on her tighs and on thr nose and it still doesnt work.. what i need to do?

Find out the root cause. Is she growing new teeth or prefers soft leathery things to ease the pain? I would go to a vet and get her checked out. When my inner iches, i shove a q-tip in it when everyone says not to, but it feels damn good.

all i know about dog training that shout NO and do something that the dog doesn't like. but you probably don't want to really hurt it either. chihuahuas are fucking stupid anyway. just get rid of it.

we found her on the street downtown she was 5 weeks ago so we dont really wanna get rid of her.. but the biting is the only problem.. and yes her new teeth are coming out but as Im writing these lines shes biting me

friend's family from years ago had kennel. and yes one of the breeds that they were selling and breeding was fucking chihuahuas. have always hated those ever since. so good luck. the fuckers can't even fuck unless you help them and often not even give birth

Had the same problem with my dog many years ago. Its a combination of itchy and hurting gums(teeth are growing). And an attempt to gain dominance. You probably need to be firm and strict, but dont get violent as it will foster violence.

It's a way for dogs to get attention, especially in younger doggos. Just be patient, tell her no, and try to get her to chew on something else or distract her with toys etc. My dog did the same thing when I first got him. Took him a few months to grow out of it but he did. He'll still do it from time to time when he's really excited and wants attention. But the bites aren't as hard and he stops when I say no. A good way is to train her not to is to yelp and act really hurt. She's not aware she's hurting you. You gotta let her know.

Use some put some very spicy sauce (salsa) on your hand or arm when the dog is about to bite you. My uncle did it with a husky and it worked wonders.

Gently but firmly grab its neck skin and just hold in down onto a surface until it gives in then let it go and reward it a little later with pets or snack and goo goo ga ga talk.
