this is not true entirely. The food is better because TJ has been a gastronomic hub from around 10 years to today, but the beaches are very contaminated and are full of wannabe cartel gangsters... if you want good food is going to be half the price tho. The corrupt cop thing and the head chopped off thing doesn't happen, as long as you stay off the shitty zones of the city which not even us locals go
