This is why we should be using a bijective number system. (i.e you count 1, 2, 3 ... 8, 9, 0, 11, 12 ... 19, 10, 21) Would solve the confusing issue of HURR DURR WHY DO THE YEARS START COUNTING AT 1 INSTEAD OF 0

Penis ring tier

So is 2030 the same decade as 2021?

Also use a comma not a colon you fudd

If I remember right, a decade is every 10 years.
2010 was a decade. 2020 is another.
user are you retarded? The year 2000 had 10 years after it, a decade, to make 2010.
That's last decade.
Then, after 2010, another decade passes (10 years)
2020.
See how you're wrong?

sorry i just changed my keyboard recently and this one is a bit smaller, but yeah, 2030 is the same decade as 2021, and then 2031-2040, you get the idea.

There is no confusion, OP is retarded, and literally is unable to do math.

So a decade is 11 years? Why are you shoving the 10 year mark forward 1 year erroneously?.

I mean 9**, but still the difference is 1, and it makes no sense why you're removing or adding a year to a 10 year time frame.

yes it is 10 years, but if you start counting the years from the beginning it;s 1-10; 11-20; 21-30 and so on, 1-10 and then 10-20 is not correct because you no year repeats itself.

Yes. Think about it like this: The years start counting at 1, that is, the first year. So the first decade would be the years 1-10. Likewise, the 202nd decade consists of the years 2021-2030.

I really don't understand the confusion, it's just like centuries 1600 is 16th century and then the 17th century starts in 1601 because there is no year 0

>start counting from the beginning.
Sure, if you're retarded.
What year do we consider the beginning?
Google it, i guarantee you'll be astounded that time is a human concept, and we have no beginning.
Also, youd STILL be wrong; the beginning of time as we set it does start at the year 0, before the year zero was the year 1 BC.
It goes from negative to positive with our current system, but because of this, it starts at 0, exactly 2019 years ago.
So start from 0, add 10 until you make it to the supposed next decade, and it'll be 2020 still.

There is a year 0, are you 10 years old?

Whaaaaaaaa.....

no there is not because of the gregorian calendar that everybody agreed on

Since none of you can count, I assume you're under 18, and should leave this site immediately. But since you're here, kids, let me teach you how numbers work.

Ten! Now go back to kindergarten where you belong.

Don't you mean the last year of the 2011's then?
Retard

OP is retarded and can't math

you deserve the dubs

so by your logic, a half is less than zero.

OP is a stupid American...go back to school retard

Are you retarded
