finally after a decade of plebeian jap shit and wes anderson movies they did it

that's nice

L'Argent is a better get

For serious? This has no HD release that I'm aware of and it's supposed to be great.

Was pretty much confirmed when they bought the license for the Mosfilm restoration. Have been waiting for this.

why does the kid have telekinesis at the end?

>Lost in America

Out of all the great Albert Brooks films they pick his weakest

I want to hug sad Rose :^(

Plebs coming out in full force in this thread, I see.

it was the train

>Tarkovsky
>pleb
try again serf

Very hyped to pick up this and L'Argent

I'll probably get them both but Bresson is way better than Tarkovsky.

what's your favorite Bresson?

shite movie

What an absolute mess of a cover, from the background pic to the questionable design elements

Picnic time.

Probably Pickpocket, maybe L'Argent.

they
fucking
did
it
again
they
madmen

what a shit looking cover

not sure about that logo..

>feeding the jews.

Also this

Yess! Was worried for a bit that it might be the L'argent from the 30s(?). This is great news.

watch more 30s films you pleb

>tfw they'll never release the whole series

They'll release this shit but not Pukahontas?

She's a monkey

WE EATIN SENPAI!!!

>already has a perfectly fine DVD
>A Gentle Woman still only has a fucking TV and VHS rip

Enough

I'll only be happy when there's a Tark box set. Mirror and Nostalghia better be soon. I need it.

How do the rights on Tartovsky's movies work? Are they all free to view legally on the internet, or does the Tartovsky estate maintain publishing and distribution rights?

Mirror and Andrei Rublev (blu ray) on the way Sacrifice and Nostalghia are doubtful

>1080p stalker on youtube

Now I have to rewatch it

I must admit that I viscerally hated Tarkovsky's "Nostalgia" and completely hated the use of Beethoven in it. I've seen it only once, but none of the Tarkovsky films that I have seen did I think are really good.

>it's a pleb disguised as a pseudo-patrician episode

Why does the cover look like shit?

the movie looks like shit

WYSIWYG

They've been terrible lately.

Finally I can watch this movie

Criterion takes what they can get the rights to.

Jesus

Oh the thing on the cover is the sun.

I thought it was an egg.

When are they going to re-issue Akira on DVD and Blu-Ray? The only Criterion copy is on fucking laserdisc and it looks like shit because of it.

If it's on Laserdisc and not DVD or BR they don't have the rights anymore.

I'll forever associate STALKER with Nuri Bilge Ceylan's DISTANT, where the hero only watches it so his brother will get bored and leave so he can switch over to porn
