A guy at our work got arrested he's 55 married with 3 kids (two girls a boy).
He got arrested for sending dick pics and chatting up what he thought was a 14 year old girl. Except it was a sting operation setup by the actual police. So everything is recorded IP address, transcripts the pics etc etc
He was arrested at a public beach toilet where they agreed to meet, he had 3 cheese burgers and a bum bag full of USB sticks on him. He tried to say he was just meeting her for lunch.
He went to jail for approx 2 years but I think it was just minimum security. I read some of the transcripts from the court case which had some chat logs in it. And it's the same kind of cringey stuff that only an old man would say.
But
You're not the police, you would also have a hard time convincing a judge that the guy in the chat was the guy behind the keyboard
