>No superpowers

SyFy doesn't churn out a lot of decent tv. it has been known to have a couple though. hopefully this is kino.

>Asking if capeshit will be kino

How many fucking different fucking channels and continuities is DC going to spread on? How is anyone supposed to keep this shit straight?

And Krypton is perhaps one of least interesting planets in all of science fiction.

look at the sexy side boobie
i will definitely watch!

Was an extra in this shit. Ama

>watching racemixing propaganda

There's porn in the internet, user

UGGHGHHHHHHH IMMMM CUMMMINNNGGGG

Dude, everything is better than Supergirl.

>Man of Steel prequel
Is this show a prequel to the Man of Steel movie?

there's a homeless man that sleeps on the park bench near my house
so what

>prequel series
>DC comics

nope.

Why does DC keep making those godawful TV shows? What's their endgame?

Everyone supporting capeshit deserves death

Might watch. Was hoping it'd have the polish Gotham has. They should've made it an HBO show and do a scifi Rome.

>None of the current DC-based television series are connected with DC's movies, but that will change with Syfy's Krypton. Writer/producer David Goyer has revealed that the series, which was announced in 2014, will be a prequel to Man of Steel, which he also wrote. "It takes place 200 years before Man of Steel," Goyer said at a press junket for Da Vinci’s Demons (via Comicbook). "We're treating Krypton like it's a historical piece. We look to previous cultures on Earth to model what that would be like."

Sounds incredibly boring.

>Murder Planet

That's probably why they've gone with the immensely trite "teen drama" template.

No way DC would do that. They wouldn't even make an R-rated Suicide Squad, a movie about murderers and thieves doing black ops for the government.

Hell yes! Kino comes to primetime. I can't fucking wait

so is zod and jor el in this? how long do krytonians live to be

It's Jor and Zod's parents as teens.

thank you

so they age like humans or earth? thats dumb if theyre supposed to be super humanoids

Why does it have to be young adult bullshit? Can't we just get more Russell Crowe and Michael Shannon?

crowes too fat to do tv especially syfy and shannons too artsy to do tv unless its hbo

i dont think kryptons are super humanoids (atleast not in their home planet). superman has super powers because earth's atmosphere is different and so is our sun

Slightly longer perhaps. We don't know anything except rumors desu.

It's 200 years before Man of Steel and the main protagonist is Superman's grandad (Jor's dad) as a teen/young adult. Looking at the casting we also have Zod's mother as a teen as well.

Which implies Jor and Zod are yet to be born.

Not enough budget.

*kryptonians

Looks like some lame adolescent novel adaptation.

I don't see how a movie with Batman characters relates to a fantasy scifi show but whatever you're clearly a fucking retard who doesn't know that even marvel does r rated tv shows.

The teen angst angle is definitely worrisome, but I am looking forward to it nevertheless.

It has great visuals as far as we can see and the Krypton from Man of Steel was really interesting and best pat of the movie for me.

I am only concerned about the main dude's acting ability.

what was zods last name

Zod is his last name. First was something with D.

I don't want to judge it based on Marvels "connected" universe. But 200 years ago what's the point of having it connected at all. There are maybe 2 or 3 villains that might conceivably crossover or have some effect on Superman.

Zod is his last name. his full name is Dru-Zod

Think of it as a history documentary that is not connected to modern Superman directly. I doubt there will be any crossover.

Krypton is an interesting place. The end times of a formerly great civilization, etc.

>Think of it as a history documentary

That's only lessons my desire to see it. My head is already so full of utterly useless information on fictional people and places the last thing I want or need are more facts on made up place...that is already dead and has no bearing on current events.

looks better than Gotham tbqh. I feel the time frame puts it at a comfortable place where it can just be its own drama with a cool sci-fi backdrop (that just so happens to be set in the DC Universe) as opposed to blowing its load on all of Superman's villains and stories without actually featuring Superman.

>goofy teen romance with 90% bluescreen scenes
>better than gotham
lmao
