What's so good about french food?
i've never had it but it seems disgusting

>british food
>bad

erm no?

Dutch friend wouldn't introduce us to Dutch food when we were in the Netherlands, why wouldn't he? tell me about Dutch food.

it's basically british food

croissants, crepes, french bread, god-tier cheese....
french food has deep roots in spain, you'd have a hard time finding a spanish speaking cunt where they dont have croissants in every bar
theres many variations of crepes too

The greatest chefs in the world are taught in France. French food is insanely high quality and expensive unlike most other countries common culinary palettes, so French food isn’t particularly accessible, but it’s arguablely the best in the world.

These threads are meme-only. People don't know shit about other cuisines except meme dishes. We don't even know what did french really eaten before. And we don't know Italian regional dishes, pizza is American pizza to us. I've only found out about Italian pizza last year.

"poor people" food in france and spain is really good aswell, its not like the average diet in france is bad or boring either

the only correct template lads

>saying german is okay but not dutch or danish

clueless american

>implying portugal diet is very different from spain
?????
>implying indian food counts as british

italian food is the best in the world

No offence Iceland

>his palate isn't developed enough to tell the difference between Northern and Central European cuisine
Portugal was given yellow solely because bacalhao is so damn prevalent and it is a sub-par fish at best

I like all foods.

the brits have objectively better food than the germans

anything that british food is guilty of the germans do more of.

> en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lutefisk
> en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hákarl
> en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Surströmming

These three ain't ok

>bacalhau is subpar

That's why we have a bajillion ways to prepare it, you nabo.

Haggis

the brits are an island tho so they historically never had the food options the german have from trading with other countries

You don't have to like ALL meals to like a country's cuisine. I also don't like Matjes, Eisbein or Weißwurst in Germany.

xexexexe dios mio you're saying the biggest empire in history never traded with anyone?

...

I want to try that pizza cake.

>Norwegia and other snowniggers
>"ok"
Turkey, Greece and Italy should be great and others can go suck dick

>muh empire
>implying the common folk could afford food that came all the way from the Americas or India
why do you think the spices trade was so profitable? those products were expensive as fuck

silencio my friend, you need to read a book.

Go fetch my lahmacun, Serkan

>proven wrong
>"read a book"

We have smalahove too. UMA DELICIA.

For real. It looks tasty.

>italia
>not great

>knowing any other turkish names than ahmed
hello abdul!

Italy, Greece, and Turkey should be great

ive had greek food
its not that good
i guess i should try more italian food, i only know spaghetti, pasta, pizza...

Balkan barbeque is the GOAT, you're just ignorant

>bunch of meat on a grill
nice food "culture" you got there

their national dish is a ham and cheese sandwich

...

fuck you

desu I have just tried portuguese, italian, greek and british food, once some romanians invited me to eat at his home, it was good, but barely can remember the food. How the fuck do people on this thread manage to try so many cuisines?

change france to great and it's perfect

desu, all of the times I've been to France, I didn't really enjoy it.
I'm not saying it was bad, no, not at all, but it wasn't breathtaking either.
Too much pastries for my taste desu

go eat chicken in a can and a fucking weiner

best one i've seen yet i think
they dont, just opinions based on 1 or 2 dishes they know or in things they heard
I know British and Irish and they both have garbage food culture and not even much variety in supermarkets

>too much pastries
>bad
cmon son

There are some nice british dishes. I really love extra mature Cheddar and the steak and kidney pie is uma delicia.

Now tell us, what makes polish cuisine so great?

>How the fuck do people on this thread manage to try so many cuisines?
Well, I live in Athens, and I like checking out food from different cultures.
We have a fuckton of different cuisine restaurants here, so I like to go to dine in them once in a while.

Also, if I have to be 100% honest, my favourite cuisine, while CONSIDERING price, is by faaaaaaaaar the slavic. They make shit like beats and potatoes taste like heaven.
If I have to consider pure taste, then I might say Greek, because I really like sea food. Although, I'm pretty sure I'm also biased.

eeeeh, I'd rather eat the thing as it is and not wrapped in bread. It's not bad, it's just, ok.

>How the fuck do people on this thread manage to try so many cuisines?
Living in south California I'm exposed to a lot of cuisines from restaurants. Or, you know, you could just make stuff at home

>Well, I live in Athens, and I like checking out food from different cultures.

Nigga, you have to visit the country to taste the food. Spanish restaurants in London for example are a bad joke.

That looks like Swedish pancakes. Meanwhile in norway they eat boiled sheeps heads...

Or czech cuisine that shares many dishes with Austria and southern Germany

British food's not that bad. Before the war it was considered very good. Only reason it has such a bad reputation now is because after the war we were heavily in debt, experimented a little with socialism and rationed all our food. As a result entire generations grew up without any knowledge of how to cook properly. It's getting better over time but it's not as good or bad as it was. Still undeserved reputation though.

>

my favorite thing is the british breakfast with those sweet beans they have, but most of their "average" food is garbage, as in what you'd expect a normal british family to eat

>go eat chicken in a can and a fucking weiner
you have no idea about austrian cuisine, well you are missing out

>Now tell us, what makes polish cuisine so great?
literally everything
>pickled everything
>both meat and veggies in really good portions each
>1488/10 soups
>pelmeni
>saslik
>buckwheat
>pancakes
and more
Everything I had while I was in Poland, or any slavic/baltic country was just perfect.

I haven't visited EVERY country, but I have visited quite a few in Europe. And well, I don't have the money to go to Thailand either, but thai food here is also 10/10

how the FUCK do you manage to have the worst food on earth and still be one of the most obese nations worldwide?

I've visited and everything was bland as fuck, boring, and I couldn't see the time leaving Austria and going back to Hungary to get some actual food in me.

retard

>pickled everything
>both meat and veggies in really good portions each
>1488/10 soups
>pelmeni
>saslik
>buckwheat
>pancakes
