Perhaps Lawrence of Arabia? I haven't seen many movies older than the 80's and 90's, I've only just started watching more obscure/non block buster movies in the last few years.
Grayson Martin
Maybe Ghost in the Shell?

Lucas Ward
It's actually a really good movie. The kaiju scenes aren't at all the focus. The reason I liked it so much is that it managed to be and feel like a kaiju movie and yet do something completely different as well. It's not at all like any other monster/kaiju movie.
