>France win RWC bid
>Ireland finish last

It seems only the English and North American unions voted for us while the Scottish and Welsh stabbed us in the back and voted for France. The dream is dead.

Anime is for fucking faggots and mentally ill neets

Good, take your British public schoolboy sport elsewhere

>81827614 (You)
Sup Forums is an anime imageboard

Anime is the most Irish sport.

huh, it actually isn't.

have you seen this ass though?
are we talking about the 2023 WC?

I'm sure all the East Brits in the south of France are thrilled that it has been taken elsewhere.

>are we talking about the 2023 WC?
yes

I don't know why but I prefer it to be France to South Africa. I don't hate them or anything but it seemed like South Africa were going to get it over us and I guess it doesn't feel like we lost to them if both of us failed to get it.

What about that mentally ill NEET that hated anime?

facebook was founded as a website for harvard students. means nothing.

I'm not since France had it only 10 years ago and a European team getting it means 2027 will go to some other continent. With England coming back into the equation after that and the continuing growth of the tournament it's probably likely now that we'll never host it.

England will be bankrupt within ten years anyway.

>14:15
>already eaten a tube of Pringles

>Was it common for tanks to have these bars?
Very common, to the point of being almost universal (German tanks rarely had them for some reason). Most tanks had them on the rear though, so the ARL-44 is rather unique in that regard.

>What was the reasoning behind them?
Stopped the gun moving around during transit and putting street on the gun mount (especially if the gun was badly balanced).

>Seems weird.
2 schools, one represented inter-war France and the other repsenting WW2 France. The latter is split acrimoniously in two in representation of Vichy France and the Free French Forces.

>Poor or are the parts just expensive?
Poverty.

>How do you know so much about this?
WW2 autism.

*putting stress on the gun mount

Ah well, we probably would have fucked it up somehow anyway.

Bold post.

Don't worry we'll win the next WC and put the spotlight back onto European teams

do your mums turn into turbo-aspies whenever Ireland is involved in a sports events? I keep thinking someones having a heart attack downstairs

Glad that after the hostile debate we had a week ago on this image cap issue that everyone has gotten over it and just decided to ignore it.

I wouldn't be so sure.

>Very common, to the point of being almost universal
Do modern tanks still have them?

>Most tanks had them on the rear though
So you'd have to rotate the turret 180 degress every time?

>Stopped the gun moving around during transit
But not when it was moving into combat I take it? Seems like it would be a detriment to be caught off guard with it.

>German tanks rarely had them for some reason
Superior Aryan steel barrels didn't bend to Bolshevik stressors.

>The latter is split acrimoniously in two in representation of Vichy France and the Free French Forces
That's actually an interesting idea.

>WW2 autism
WW2 was started by extreme autism after all.

It's a good thing you made that correction. I was concerned over how an army could let their tanks' guns scrape against the streets while moving.

>Do modern tanks still have them?
I think so, but they are not as necessary due to stronger gun mounts and better gun balancing.

>So you'd have to rotate the turret 180 degress every time?
Yes.

>But not when it was moving into combat I take it? Seems like it would be a detriment to be caught off guard with it.
They were only used for long distance travel or transport (having the gun over the rear of the tank shortens the length of the tank for transport on ships or trains). In combat they were not used.

>That's actually an interesting idea.
Yeah, they are the school featured in the final chapter trailer. The S35 tanks are theirs as they were the most modern tanks the French had at the start of the war.

>WW2 was started by extreme autism after all.
WW1 was a bit more autistic in its origins to be fair.

>They were only used for long distance travel or transport
That's the impression I was getting.

>WW1 was a bit more autistic in its origins to be fair.
In how it started I suppose. Wilhelm's incredibly autistic rant about the British when he was trying to ally them will live on in the halls of ASD history but Hitler's ideals for a racially pure world were possibly the most powerful autism ever witnessed on planet Earth. He would've started a war at any time to realise them.

Looking back both world wars were started by pan-racial movements, though WWI had some major underlying issues that would've triggered a war sooner or later.

De Gaulle changed a lot from when I saw him in my history books. This anime sure looks interesting.
BTW are the tanks only WW2 era tanks or can I see a tank Leclerc in it?

>BTW are the tanks only WW2 era tanks or can I see a tank Leclerc in it?
Nein. Permitted vehicles are as follows?

>Vehicles whose design was completed before August 15, 1945
>Vehicles that had begun prototype trials by the aforementioned date
>Vehicles whose construction was planned using only materials available before the aforementioned date

Literally can't stop making typos today. I need to be at home at my desk to type with any semblance of normalcy it seems.

>Literally can't stop making typos today
>today

are you actually at work or something?

I really need to do something about it though. This was never an issue for me until a few months ago. Maybe I need to relearn typing from scratch? Although I can type fast, my style is very awkward and I think it might be the cause of my incessant typos. Although not sitting in an optimal position seems to have an effect too.

Yes, but I'm not on site at the moment.

Self fulfilling prophecy maybe?

>Maybe I need to relearn typing from scratch?
Or you could just get yourself into the habit of proofreading.

>Although I can type fast
Well at least you have that going for you. I'm not the worst but I'm definitely not a quick typist, it doesn't help that I often re-write a lot of my posts halfway through or get caught up on minor word choice. Sometimes I zone out altogether as well.

why does Sup Forums enjoy anime about young girls so much, do they not realise it's shlock? it's in the same class of crap as franchise licensed PS2 games, soap operas, superhero films, and soccer.

>Or you could just get yourself into the habit of proofreading.
That would only slow me down.

Seriously though, I do need to sort out my typing and figure out why it has deteriorated so much as of late. I don't want it to become an issue at work down the line. It's not often you hear of somebody's ability to type taking a dive like that.

>do they not realise it's shlock?
We're very much aware of that.

You have to find the gems. Most capeshit is shit but Spider-Man 2 is great. Similarly most licensed PS2 games are shit, but Spider-Man 2 is great.
What I'm trying to say is Spider-Man is moe as fuck.

>t.Spiderman

excellent post

>t.Green Goblin

well played Lux you win this round

Are you implying there's something wrong with that?

Bit miffed at how arbitrary driving test marking is, particularly the difference between a grade 1 and grade 2, and not even being allowed to have any evidence of poor form from a tester.

Waifus. Although my taste in anime doesn't really match very well with Sup Forums to answer that. I'm sure I'll be called a pleb for this but being honest I think MAL is a much better community for discussing anime than Sup Forums

Did you fail today? I assume you were the lad asking about the driving test the other day?

that would be awesome to speak to Spiderman
Also I did find your post to excellent too. More Spiderman shitposting would be nice

>I think MAL is a much better community for discussing anime than Sup Forums
MAL is full of reddit-tier taste and people inserting SJW nonsense into anime (seriously, never enter a thread on MAL discussing KLK).

Spider-Posts are never shitposts.

>pic related

>That would only slow me down
Same reason I don't do it, but in your case you have more time to spare.

>Seriously though, I do need to sort out my typing and figure out why it has deteriorated so much as of late. I don't want it to become an issue at work down the line. It's not often you hear of somebody's ability to type taking a dive like that.
It's either the alcoholism or /éire/, probably both.

I've seen enough MAL threads on /m/ to know that nowhere with taste that shit in Gundam is worth visiting.

Not him, I'm just reading how a tester can fail you on minor inefficient use of the gears even when it's not really unsafe. Seems a bit perverse.

The driving test is inherently flawed as a means of assessing driving skill.

I think the worst part is how long it can take to get another test if you do fail.
I got a cranky dub for mine who was really frosty to me at the start but only seemed big on giving me a pile of grade 1's but thankfully not many 2's. I might have got lucky since my driving instructor told me pass rates vary wildly depending on who the tester is and the time of day of your test with rush hour slots giving greater opportunities for fails.

>rush hour slots giving greater opportunities for fails.
Imagine having to pass your test at 8 AM on a big city like London. The stress alone would end me

In Ireland some of the worst pass rates are found in small rural towns for some reason.

>introduced mandatory lessons
>test pass rates don't get better
really makes you think

The mandatory lessons were a money grab by the RSA Instructors, plain and simple.

aren't most regulations introduced here a money grab? ex: 10pm cut off for off licenses to benefit pubs

I wouldn't say "most" are, but a lot of them are alright.

>MAL is full of reddit-tier taste and people inserting SJW nonsense into anime
If "reddit-tier" means discussing the plot, art direction and character development instead of sharing porn and speculating what everyone would do in the situation of anime girl x pointing their ass in your face then I think I'm ok with that.

And if you're seriously and genuinely interpreting people in anime communities as "SJW" then I don't think there's anything more to say on this.

>I've seen enough MAL threads on /m/ to know that nowhere with taste that shit in Gundam is worth visiting.
/m/ seems a lot better on focused discussion so that might be true.

There are designated routes at least so you will have practiced them all beforehand and at busy times as well to help prepare. But still, the busier traffic is there more chance of something unexpected happening.
It's not fair that the person being tested mid-morning on a Sunday gets the same test as someone going through a rush hour after encountering a pile up from a car crash but I guess that's life.

>If "reddit-tier" means discussing the plot, art direction and character development instead of sharing porn and speculating what everyone would do in the situation of anime girl x pointing their ass in your face
>browsing threads for a series after it's finished airing

>if you're seriously and genuinely interpreting people in anime communities as "SJW"
You blatantly simplified his post.

>then I don't think there's anything more to say on this
Another way of saying "I don't want to discuss this anymore, but I also want to feel like I won".

>Unlocking Everything in Battlefront II Requires 4,528 hours or $2100
Love modern gaming

>If "reddit-tier" means discussing the plot, art direction and character development instead of sharing porn and speculating what everyone would do in the situation of anime girl x pointing their ass in your face then I think I'm ok with that.
Do you really think Sup Forums only cars about the sexualised aspects of anime? That's pretty naive.

>and if you're seriously and genuinely interpreting people in anime communities as "SJW"
Are you suggesting that anime has some sort of barrier that prevents them becoming members of online anime communities? Again, a bit naive.

Buy EA, prepare to pay.

some testers will borderline admit that you can drive but they failed you for the craic

Yeah, I've heard many people claim the same and I'd believe it. Sometimes you hear of the reverse too though. Either way, it shows how flawed and subjective the system is.

Robots replacing the workforce can't come soon enough.

I dunno, robots would pick up on things that a human tester might miss.

the industry needs to crash
now

I think I've only bought one game that was made in the past 2 years.

A lot of people out the country don't do much urban driving and take the piss. It's a nightmare for a learner because you're basically left negotiating zany antics that even the rules of the road are vague about. Whether you exercised good judgment is down to the tester.

What can be done to change that though? Can hardly record a testing process with a 360 view and if they added a 2nd tester per test it'd increase the test fee and probably waiting times as well.

>Announcing E.T. for the Xbox One X!

cheese chips

You forgot the curry, and the glass of watercum to drink.

>It's a nightmare for a learner because you're basically left negotiating zany antics that even the rules of the road are vague about.

>keep to the left of the white line
>leave enough room for people to open the doors of parked cars on your left
>the road isn't wide enough to do either
>get marked down on both

What's the actual answer to this? I presume if it's not safe to cross the line because of oncoming traffic you just move along slowly and hope people in parked cars have the common sense to look before opening their door onto the road?
Our roadways are so badly designed and we have a population that's with very little observance for the rules you'll constantly find yourself in grey areas like that. At least that's why you have an allowance for grade 2 mistakes.

>be Valve
>takes an exorbitant amount of time to unlock all the weapons
>you don't even have enough space for them in your inventory unless you pay
>popularise lootcrates
>nobody cares

>be any other company
>do essentially the same practices
>people get mad
wtf?

>hope people in parked cars have the common sense to look before opening their door onto the road?
that's why those tests are screwed up. If some guy decides not to look before opening his door, the blame will be on you anyway

If you have a clear view ahead and there's no traffic coming your way then I'd say you should cross the line. Otherwise slow down and be prepared to stop in case a door opens suddenly, though it's unlikely someone would open their door when there's a car coming unless it's been busy for a while or they're in a rush.

the answer is to stop behind the 1km line of cars, wait for the 1km stretch to be clear and overtake. Of course after an hour passes waiting you will be failed for not making progress, lol.

Valve fans were notoriously loyal and tolerated that sort of behaviour and tended to do the PR work for the company on their behalf.
People who play EA games are usually just attracted to the licensed properties or sports brands they use and don't actually like the company itself.

I love all the Irish boys itt because they are my best of friends.

All those TF2 weapons were add ons though. They didn't ship with the original game.

so? what an arbitrary point to draw the line

Well according to this thread it takes 4,528 hours to unlock everything in the new EA game.

If you played TF2 a couple of hours every week since release you're likely to own every weapon in the game + doublers + several cosmetic hats.

I think there's a clear difference there. TF2 had every weapon and class unlocked after release and you unlock 2-3 add on weapons every day (or week I can't remember)

>ledditors are now giving all their upvotes to posts that link to resetera

Probably not much longer now until governments start forcing white people to wear yellow badges with "KEK" written on them.

This was supposed to say cuck, shorthand for cuckold. Now the post makes much less sense. It's easy to forget about that filter.

You have a very special taste desu
>the website that grants access to your account immediately if you're black and not for 28 days if you're not
How would reddit know whether you're black or not?

Resetera, not reddit. You have to tell them when creating an account. It's where all the SJWs from Neogaf migrated to.

again focusing on release is a pretty arbitrary demarcation as it's the same net result: you have to have played a lot or paid to get unlocks. somewhere along the way Valve should have made it much much easier for new players to get weapons without paying but they didn't for obvious reasons. EA has just implemented Valve's practice in a shorter time frame. both companies are pretty scummy.
