Can we actually discuss this show like adults
Can we actually discuss this show like adults
You really do need to get into the mindset of the faggot atheist Redditor to understand why this show is so popular. These people have never heard of adult animation in their lifes that wasn't stuff like Family Guy, it was completely alien to them. And they can't laugh at these shows because they consider these shows stupid. They want a show that isn't necessarily smart or funny or well-written, but that appears to be to appeal to their surface-level taste. Because these people live for that mindless self-validation. They don't actually understand what makes for good writing or good comedy, nor have they ever picked a book about physics. They want to pretend they do so and circlejerk themselves, that's what matters. Rick and Morty is just perfect for its demographic: these same college age self important Bernouts who "fucking love science". The entire foundation of the show is built upon the dichotomy between "silly sci-fi humor and references" and " things are super deep and tragic bro". This pseudo-intellectual "nothing even matters, I'm insecure about existence, we are all going to die" bullshit that R&M shits out in almost every episode is what appeals to it's audience. The show doesn't actually have the tact to even begin to offer an interesting presentation and discussion of any philosophy, so it spouts these edgy teenage catchphrases. Nevermind the bean-headed, noodle-limbed unexpressive character design, or how the story is non-existent and only comes up when the writers beg you to feel something for these characters so devoid of substance, or how the entire show is a trendy forgettable scenario of the week memefest with just enough sci-fi references to trick kids into thinking they are smart for understanding them, or how the characters have somehow been reduced to even more obnoxious caricatures than before, none of these things matter. What matters is that it appeals to the millenial redditor audience, and that's whats selling Rick and Morty
This show has driven this board more mad than superhero movies

KYS RnM SHITPOSTERS
i kinda like it, it's funny, i like when he turns into the guy and says i'm gonna take a shit
Yep. A dozen or more threads a day spammed for free.
Capeshit and this shit is the only thing posted here anymore
Sup Forums hates RnM because Rick is reddit (smart, man of science) and Morty is Sup Forums (timid, clings to god)
It's alright but the constant "God doesn't exist" quips get old pretty quick.

Can degenerate Nu-males create anything better than toilet and cringe humor?
>4ch can't handle discussing something as basic as a children's cartoon like an adult
>the intellectual capacity of Sup Forums

Avatarposting is against the rules here broham of Brohamesburg
Why does every joke have to be about how God isn't real?
Because it's not a joke: God isn't real.
I think what I love most about the rick and morty meme is that most of the people shitposting about it actually watch an enjoy the show
this
it's the show plebeians love to hate
Almighty, Almighty! Fire mission on my location. Repeat, fire on my location. Reddit-tier twee Tumblr fans have contaminated the Patrician barrier! Sanitize this thread!

What's the context of ''get schwifty''?
Just so it doesn't go over your head too hard: has to do with the oscillation of atoms in a certain environment.
That's the simplest was of putting it without knowing your science background.

Its like the manlet threads are all started by manlets. The feed off the hate but at the same time the hate leads to drama which spreads visibility for the cause
Yeah that was a neat gag too bad the Sup Forums contrarians can't appreciate the show, it's all that funny but it has an interesting plot
There's like 3 mentions of god in 2 whole seasons what the fuck, yes it's pretty obnoxious in the first episode but I don't remember hearing atheist jokes all that much
