Anyone else ever track down where youtubers live, just to see if they can? Today I managed to figure out where the 8bitguy and Electroboom live, both from well under an hour of internet sleuthing.

back when Tobuscus was big I figured out his apartment address using his vlogs and drove there since I lived nearby. I didn't do anything though, just wanted to see it in person I guess.

everyone knows where 8bitguy lives, its not like he tries to hide it, hes given many hints even going as far as saying his house is a charging station.

Youtubers tend to underestimate what they give away

Electroboom for example often shows views outside his flat. The city he lives in (Vancouver) is public info, a quick search of the city via google maps 3d makes it easy af to narrow down the building he lives in if you reference his vids. (He's directly next to David Lam Park)

Searching old listings for that complex lead me to what Im pretty sure is his exact address.

For the 8bitguy, that involved a lot more searching his name and public records in Texas. Not as easy but the result was even more exact.

OP here, am faggot I guess. I didn't realize that it was that public. Regardless, its not hard to figure out even if it wasn't.
