Get a dedicated cam, if your taking the risk might as well go for as top quality as possible (4k)
Be creative do dozen of tests to make sure it well hidden and not obvious

Just commit to a decent setup, and like the other user said go for HQ stuff if you going to risk it. Like 720p and even 1080p really hasn’t held up over time, 4k cams will age better imo

Another tip: record at 60fps or higher (120), then slow it down to 30, it will be in slow motion but still perfectly fluid, 30fps is the optimum fps for the brain to process every frame fully.
