Hipster

I think you watch too many science fiction

3 is too much?

4 dumbass

You've watched some cool movies. Others may call what you like entry tier, but some of the movies you listed are really solid. I know sometimes people don't like entry tier movies because they've been talked about to death. So just enjoy what you like and watch more movies.

Do you prefer Apocalypse Now Redux or the original movie? Good list anyway, although I find Children of Men overrated

Apocalypse: Ok
Blade Runner: Boring
2001: Ok
Nemo: Ok
Pan: Mediocre
Children of Men: Sucks
Ghost in the Shell: Haven't watched
Spirited Away: Haven't watched
Kill Bill: Overrated

Am I doing this right?

You're supposed to put your favorite scenes from the film.
>Blade Runner: boring
How do you find Blade Runner boring when you like Godfather? Both are slow burners.

5/9 not bad

...

>You're supposed to put your favorite scenes from the film.
OP has a poster for Apocalypse Now.

>Blade Runner
Godfather has characters I could actually give a shit about.

...

One poster out of 9 pictures.
>characters I could actually give a shit about
Blade Runner has those, too, especially the antagonist, but the setting and directing carry it, so I can see where you're coming from.
You're supposed to rate others, faggot.

literally r3dd1t: I'm quite the film buff, yknow?

>Barry
>The Thing
You're okay.

i dont have to do anything i dont want to do

It's common knowledge, OP also stated in the post, so either fuck off or contribute. You're not getting your ass licked.

hmmmm........
not a total pleb
interesting
cool

I don't know any of these films.

>Apoc

>Bladerunner

How can you not know Lynch at least?

Not him.

I watched Lost Highway a while back and really liked it, although the ending was pretty jarring.

Which of his movies are better?

idk man. I guess i'm pretty illiterate when it comes to kinos.

Eraserhead is his MO, but if you've seen Twin Peaks, you should definitely check Fire Walk WIth Me. MD is a good film, but vastly overrated and Blue Velvet is a solid thriller with a dash of Lynch.
You didn't even finish IMDb's top 250, did you?

2/9.
1/9
1/9
3/9
4/9

You are all like children. Let me enlighten you cro-magnons with REAL cinema.

There's only like 2 seasons right? I guess I could commit to that.

I've also heard that Inland Empire is really good but far stranger than his other movies.

Lost Highway felt pretty straightforward mostly, and Muholand Drive seems the same as well.

Its good to see movies like his make Psychological Thrillers that really have a meaning and craft to them.

nice Sup Forumseddit taste, faggot

Argue why they're bad without memes you fucking faggot.

Haven't seen IE, but heard the same. Definitely check it out.
As for Twin Peaks, first season has 8 episodes and it's a neat surreal soap opera with Lynch's magic in it, season two, well the first 1/3 is on the same level, but the remaining two aren't and are quite hard to slog through. Last episode is great and all the suffering is worth it just for this episode alone.
Fuck off, I go to Sup Forums on a regular basis and they have much better taste than OP.
>that Leslie parody kino
muh nigga

Here's mine. rate me senpai

So heres me

Go ahead.... make my day

Bretty good.

Elephant, DK, and Superbad weren't "great" but I could see why someone might like them a lot personally.

Not OP, but Redux adds a scene where they bang the playmates and a scene with french farmers, right? I really like the scene with the models, but the frenchies ruin the momentum imo

>Gene Kelly

I think Repulsion is the only movie that actually makes me feel sick.

Fuck this/12

3x3 =/= 4x3

Do you even autism?

Singing in the Rain is kino.

>Rob Zombie's Halloween

>Rob Zombie's Halloween
>Bretty good.

Kill yourselves.

I'm a true pleb.

Why are you even here?

Good.

I'd recommend just reading a bit of film 101 too. It might sound pretentious, but if you just look up some University film syllabuses or reading lists you can find most of them available online from students.

Or you can buy them second hand for dirt cheap.

I learned a lot over the Summer and really enjoy movies more now.

Here's mine.
Ebin cinephile :DDDDDD
Solid list, my dude.
Which part of the "3x3 thread" didn't you get?
I'm in the same boat, just try to venture out of the mainstream here and there and you'll end up fine.

I'm not really sure.

...

So he can discuss SW and capeshit, what else?

Perfect taste

>tfw don't recognize most of these.

I've wanted to see Jesse James, is it really that good just from Based cinematographer and John Hurt?

Otherwise Fargo is pretty good + Zodiac.

If is interesting but I'm not sure if i read too much into it

Clockwork and 12 are Damn Good. I still enjoy Clerks 2 despite its trashiness.

is Johnny Got His Gun any good if you already know the story?

Metallica's One doesn't count, lad.

maybe generic but im not trying to impress

Either contribute to the thread or fuck off, it's rather simple.

make me

Ffs where's YOUR 3x3?

upboat for the redditference, but I never heard the song.

friend of mine who read the book spoiled me pretty much the whole plot I think.

I already posted mine.
Appreciated, but to answer your question, yes, you should definitely see the movie, although reading the book would be preferable.

>alice
nice

I'm gonna damage control myself here. I know I'm a pleb for not seeing a lot of movies, but I don't watch that garbage either.

Your taste will grow with time, but please refrain from posting in this type of thread.

Always love these threads. Shows 90% of this board is children/manchildren, as if it weren't already obvious enough from every other thread.

I'm guessing you didn't use the website OP linked

What movies would you like to see in these threads?

If I browsed Sup Forums in highschool I would have posted almost this exact image

see

Ran.

Middle is Synecdoche, New York and middle left is Calvary.

true
7/7
masculin femenin is one of the most insufferable films i've ever had to sit through, but goya top cutie, so forgiven, watch better films from the fnw tho

>too scared to post his edgy all B&W pure kino from the 1930's

don't be a faggot, movies are for entertainment

you ain't better than anyone until you post yours

I see you're experienced when it comes to movies, judging by your mosaic. Can you recommend me something similar to Saragossa Manuscript?

see

Or you could stop with the memeing and tell him to see instead of your autistic chain link?
You faggot

...

Or you could stop being a filthy parasite and actually rate anything at all, faggot.

Is mid right 3 colors blue? And whatre the rest?? I only recognize Blue Velvet and i think that might be Stalker in the top left.

>angelidi
nice, i had that same still for thief or reality in one my charts
mysteries of lisbon or hypothesis of a stolen painting

And 8 1/2.

Haven't seen it but it looks like The hourglass sanatorium could be similar. You could also go with Pasolini's Trilogia della vita

my Angelidi folder is huge, all the shots are amazing. Seen anything nice lately? I'm doing a Hitchock marathon I only had seen Vertigo and Psycho, I think Rear Window was one of the best films ever made up to that point

i'ts not 8 1/2

through a glass darkly
the godfather
blue velver
chungking
la dolce vita
blue
red desert
tree of life
l'avventura

Red Desert

Watch All Quiet On The Western Front (1930) and Bitka Na Neretvi

have seen all quiet on the western front, not the other one, thanks!

man I can only recognize Fe and the other, what's the rest?
Next I have The wrong man, one of Godard's favorite films.

Have you seen anything from my list of 50 yet? Saless is really good especially Still life and Utopia
