Neither. Tobey didn't capture Peter's humor or rebelliousness, Garfield didn't capture his dorkiness.

But I come to these movies to see Spider-Man, not Peter, and Garfield had the clear edge there. Disney's version is best though. No character fits the style of Disney quips than Spidey.
