>have a cheap shit franchise
>it never gets relegated

What's the median salary for non-franchise players? About $200,000?

Pogba makes 120M per season?

should have said Pogba+Messi

mls is a joke so no surprise about the shit wages

Is there a city in the United States, where the Major League Soccer (MLS) team is the team with the most fans, the team with the highest attendance, the most popular, the most winning, the most important and the most everybody?

Relegation in the US doesn't work dumbass.
There's not enough support for any MLS team where if they fell into a secondary league they would survive.

What would happen is the league with thin out until it's the same few teams winning every time, a few teams teetering between both leagues, and every team that was relegated down would fold if they didn't recover immediately.

damn that's crazy, looks like about $140M a year, plus endorsements he's probably making close to $200M. That's as much as MLS by himself

salt lake city might be your best bet because as far as i know they don't have any other major sports teams

jazz sucks

yes because of the salary cap

As a galaxy fan I wish we coulda got fuckin relegated last season.

Maybe that’d make the owners actually take getting dead last place seriously and actually make some real changes.

why

because teams would otherwise spend themselves into bankruptcy in an arms race, like NASL did in the 80's

Why wont they cap it at like 50m each? Why would that be a bad idea?

*50m per team I mean

We're talking about soccer in North America. There literally isn't enough money in that market. (Until the Mexican's take over)

Reminder for its salary caps MLS gets obsessed over way too much

What's the purpose of the salary cap?

the fuck? how did Toronto become the Real/Manure of MLS? and why are they spending more than most teams do on their entire squads on fucking bradley and altidore of all players?

what the fuck actually goes on in this league?

Maybe its because mls is shit and you shills brag about it way too much

So what? The wage bills and player values line up more or less with the bottom half of the Championship and the top half of League One.
Still not on par with Liga MX. Why should this be a surprise?

Sup fernando

>Bradley
>altisnore

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaagh

and thus it will never be considered anything but a joke. shit tier on the pitch, "conferences", "playoffs", "all-star games", "drafts", etc.
