There were two successful coups. There were several "attempted" coups. Quotation marks because some of them may not have actually been attempts. Still, 5+ coup attempts (successful or otherwise) in ~50 years is a lot.

There is no such a thing as hardcore muslim in military. He came to power in 2002. Islamists started to have an effect on military on 2008. So islamist soldiers started to be taken into military around 2008 and ealiest graduates came out at 2012. And there can only 25 years old bunch of lieutenants who might be Islamist, and to be honest i dont think it is more than 20%.
