Is there a Pepe version of this?
*taps your back*
No.
REMEMBER ME, EDDIE?
Speaking of Muppets. Christmas Carol where the ghosts appear up the stairs with the rattling chains.
Shame.
Thanks for the arachnophobia, Secret of NIMH.
After trying to pretend he was a civil, sophisticated rat for the whole film, Ratigan finally snaps and goes full bestial.
Always scared me as a lad.

Poltergeist's entire second half.
>when he turns his head
This is one where the stop motion makes it much scarier. Since it's a metal statue the jerky movements suit it, and the creaking sound effects are fantastic.
Yep made me jump firts watch (I was 6)

That buildup
When he tears the back of his scalp open...that shit used to scare the shit out of me.
I was a bit of a pussy though, I was also scared of Jumanji for some reaon

My first sexual experience with a female resembles the expression on its face
...
Did it end like this?
No goo unfortunately. I would have made those cries had I came.
MAMA! MAMA!
Also the air vent
Yes, actually, younglings. I saw one once.
Didn't save it though.

(and in the same movie, the very beginning where the bat jump-scares the shit out of you)

This Doctor Jekyll & Mr. Hyde cartoon aired on Nickelodeon in the early 90's. They actually didn't cut away the 2 times Mr. Hyde beat people to death or how he kidnapped (and killed off-screen) a woman.
Go to 10:19, 17:22, and 29:57. They wouldn't be able to get away with this today.

I thought I was the only one who was scared by this scene.
I don;t even remember what this movie is but I remember this scene and being so upset by it as a little kid.
google that shit or look at the youtube comments, it's an epidemic
>Think back, if you can, to a sketch on Sesame Street where Ernie and Bert explored a pyramid. Do you remember the Egyptian statue that looked just like Ernie, and tap-tap-tapped him on the shoulder with his Egyptian staff thing? That Egyptian statue thing was what my brother called THE REAL ERNIE. And he (my brother, not The Real Ernie) would wake up screaming in the middle of the night, and we would ask him what the matter was. And he would sputter, "The Real Ernie! The Real Ernie!"
huh, me and my sister thought it was the most amusing sesame street skit we had seen
>THE STAAAAaa-
>THE STAAAAaa-
>THE STATUE TALKED TO ME BERT!
Dorothy Gaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaale
Doesn't quite work without sound but whatever
Rattigan, the bat, and the doll in the you store were all creepy.
Jerry the Belly Button Elf scared me a little bit.
The scenes with people with radiation burns utterly shell shocked me.
I stopped watching midway through the main attack & my mom said I walked in to her bed room pale as a ghost.
Among my top favorite 50s monster movies now, fantastic mystery build up & scientific detective work on the part of the leads.

You watched this as a kid?
I wasn't willing to find a bigger picture
Nightmare fuel
Guy fainted behind Winkie's
mim scared me and gave me a weird boner at the same time.
OOAAAAAAAHHHHHRRRRRR
...
Can I just put the scare factor aside and note that the water is animated incredibly in this scene?
The attack in the car was way worse because you think Nedry is safe.
Now what really spooked me as a kid was pic related. I'm not even memeing, I covered my eyes during that scene.
Goosebumps - Cry of the Cat
The last nightmares I've ever had from a movie. That fucking sky cat, man
Me too. I didn't like skeletons as a kid, they always spooked me. Even like history shows that showed skeletons or mummies spooked me good.

Thank God I didn't see this movie as a child
Yes.
All scenes with this guy in Joan of Arc. Fuck, that dude creeped me out.
I remember this cartoon as well. If you read the credits, it was made in an Australian studio, but 90's Nick ran it. At the time, Nick ran a lot of foreign cartoons including anime.
when atreju has to face the spinxes
He kind of just crumbles...

This show terrified me more than anything else. They cut out the full opening in the youtube video, with him waggling his feet about. But I just remember absolutely hating the whole thing
This movie fucked me up bad
I got too scared during the scene where they get trapped in the farmhouse, so I fast forwarded past it. I kept watching until the tracking fucked up on the tape right before the end, and for years I thought everyone just died.
My negroids
In the spooky hominids category...
I don't think anyone else was scared of this fucker but goddamn I hated this episode
That scene in the Road Warrior when he opens the door of the truck and the dead guy falls on him
I was terrified of the ghost doorknob in that movie 'cause I was a little bitch back then.
Also that 1995 Casper movie was similar, didn't like ghosts at all back then.
This was super fucked up. There's a live-action version which was even more terrifying as well. I think the transformation happened while they were on a rollercoaster or some shit. Gave me nightmares for ages.

Why isn't Harryhausen brought up here more often?
Not a good scene for a kid who's arachnophobic.
Screamed my head off until my big brother took me out of the theater. I had nightmares for months.
