I used to get really hung up on transgender pronouns, like if I was calling them the wrong thing I'd be enabling and normalizing mental illness, you know?

As I get older I realize how little all of this transgender shit matters. It requires so little effort to use a different pronoun, and it often means a lot to someone else.

She is still technically a female, and I will use the correct pronoun when I am not talking directly to her.
