I've gone through two episodes of this show and it's fucking terrible. I thought this shit was supposed to be """"educational""". In the global warming episode, they basically just spout alarmist memes and then jerk off wind and solar energy. There's no actual science talk. In the second episode, they talk about alternative medicine and actually manage to bring up the relevant information, but are so fucking smug about it that it just pisses me off. Also apparently he shills for people to not have kids, as if the 1.6 fertility rate in western countries is somehow going to end the world.

And it pops up three times over the span of two mintes. Rachel Bloom makes the most unattractive, lyrically abysmal grunting noises during the "uh uh uhhh" parts.
The choreography is absolute shit, and the lyrics beautifully delineate this. The lyrics are what really piss me off, too. They aren't even clever. They had carte blanche to make a song about dicks and pussies and how they relate to one and other and it wasn't even remotely funny. Fuck, man. If you'd given the same task to a band like, say, NSP or Tenacious D, or pretty much any fucking musical talent that has written stuff that has anything remotely to do with sex humor, they'd at least make me smirk a little. Maybe I won't laugh, but I'll at least see why it could be funny. I'll at least see that yes, this was a joke that someone put effort into. This shit, though? It's like an edgy 12 year old girl threw it together in like, half an hour max. I didn't go in expecting Billy Joel levels of lyricism, but come the fuck on, man. He doesn't talk about how warm water can hold less CO2, so the warming of the ocean that's occurring means that more CO2 will be shunted into the atmosphere. He doesn't even bother addressing any recent controversies, which may have swayed a layperson toward global warming denial.

Oh yeah, totally. That was 100% real science right there. He blew spitbubbles and talked about liquids expanding when heated. Definitely explained anthropogenic climate change right there. Thanks Bill.
