Let's have a referee appreciation thread. We often times criticize and even insult them. But it's rare that somebody says something positive about referees even though without them the sports we love wouldn't be possible. Nobody is perfect but referees are damn close. Thank you for your work!

That's because one decision wrong can change the course for the rest of the match. The referee power is too strong in football, hopefully VAR could help as accurate and as fastest possible for the referee and spectators. Very happy about the application of goal line technology which eliminate a mistaken disallowed goal.
