We dont have any gun culture here, the only people who use guns are farmers and sportsmen because they need to. We dont have the crazy nuts crime rate like the US has, which i think is the only reason you really need to hold onto your guns.

They also have a practical purpose- it is hard to occupy a fully-armed nation. If Australia were to be invaded by a very well-armed and committed enemy force for whatever reason, a couple farmers and sportsmen with shotguns wouldn't be as effective as a majority of the populace armed with more effective rifles.

House prices are awful in Sydney and Melbourne and they are both overpopulated towns and you can expect a one hour commute each way to work unless you are rich.

The LDP has an interesting immigration policy which would increase developed immigration to the country, which would result in an influx of Asians, so keep that in mind.
If less Asians are the priority, then you have Pauline Hanson. She also won three seats in the senate with her One Nation party. She supports a net zero immigration if I remember correctly. Regardless, it's incredibly limited. She will not, however, support better fun laws.
Ultimately it'll likely end up being a one or the other scenario, in the presently unlikely scenario that either gain legislative power. Personally, I don't mind Asians and love guns, so I vote LDP.
