Hharkkuguikin Fargghorbliinkko 2

Leningrad Cowboys Go America is probably the only finnish film I've seen but it was pretty good from what I can remember.

That one with Heviasaurus

...

Mongol (2007)

Talvisota

>finnish movies
>good

they seriously need to fire all of their screenwriters, films are technically good (though very blandlooking) but holy fuck they cant write scripts, characters or dialog for shit

This

Tuntematon sotilas is fairly good, but I'm not sure if foreigners can enjoy it. Reindeerspotting is kino

Any newer movies?

Reindeerspotting is from 2010
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reindeerspotting:_Escape_from_Santaland

>Finnish movie
>good

Finns should just stick to making video games and heavy metal music

...

...

Big Game

The only one the even comes close to good is Pahamaa. And I'm a Finn.

Thank you american cultural marxism for taking root in our humble country also.

t. a finn

We don't make good movies. Watch the TV series Raid instead (if you can find it).

haha no
t. finn

That's such a hilariously melodramatic movie. Only my finnish redneck friend likes it.

The part where the kid plays with the toys and says "kill, kill!" still keks me to this day.

>implying finnish heavy metal is in anywhere good

Sauna is pretty decent.

>dialog
>in Finnland
people don't talk in Finnland. Only 20% are even able to speak that language.

If Finns weren't total failures and could find Shia LaBeouf in the wilderness, they could have made a great documentary about murdering a celebrity in cold blood.

Does Norway even make anything? Been watching Norwegian and Sweden media recently.

No they just sit on their mountain of oil money.

Meant Finland

What?

Watch Napapiirin sankarit if you can find in eng subs. It's a dudebro comedy movie except in a lapland environment and people.

If you want something about finnish history but with a modern film watch Härmä. They both have the same cutie as main actress, pic related.

The Winter War

sauna is probably the best finnish movie I've seen, even tho the ending was a little bit of a mess.

Härmä was nice

Pure kino.

No they just sit on their mountain of empty bottles.

Well the Black Metal is good.

Anyone seen The Happiest Day in the Life of Olli Mäki? Wondering if it's worth a watch.
I don't usually like Finnish movies.

This, and

Mämmi (2008)

haha

what movie

>he listens to worst metal subgenre

Komisario Palmu. Agatha Christie style murder mystery movies (I think there's three of them). Black and white, since they're from the sixies.

They're really comfy and well done. Palmu smokes a cigar and yells at people, while his two helpers do all the legwork.

Tämä

Watched this a couple of years ago. Its actually really funny.

Sömbliritta Fögappan (1965)

What's the My Summer Car of finnish cinema?

Kummeli Stories

>BM
>worst sub genre
What do you listen to? Nu-Metal and Metalcore?

>Implying.

That there's a bad type of metal.

Jarva`s films are pretty superb. Same thing with Mikko Niskanen. Also Peter von Bagh has written some excellent books about films.

Pic is a CUTE finnish actress

Cofe Time For Talk In English

I really enjoyed this one

we watched it in school, finnish education system rocks.

A modern classic

stick to your limp biscuit kiddo, nothing personal

incest kino

((American))

Fuck this hits so home if you're from rural finland.

dirty

I don't get it

They are joking. Watch TOO MUCH SALT WILL KILL YOU (2012) instead

It is okay.

>norway

That ain't Finnish you fucking hothead

the movie is still a must watch though

Norway and Finnland are basically the same thing

Steam of life was pretty gud. It's about sauna ebin.

...

Kaurismaki desu

so are canada and USA , amirite? :^)

Mads was great in this. Its on Netflix watch it if you haven't already

Own Goal: The Patrik Laine Story was pretty good

>Napapiirin sankarit
i just watched it, cute movie. thanks

>The United States of America and Mexico are basically the same thing

i would not compare Finnland to Mexico though, it's more like Alaska

vitun tää...

They're all fucking shit.

I guess Whitehead made one cool flick.

race mixing propaganda/10

...

...

...

...

Impressive, most impressive

nice drawing but here's a real gondola in it's natural habitat

ebin

rauta aika, its kind of shamanistic miniseries based on finnish national epics

I fucking love Pamela Tola and want her to suck my dick while I watch at her beautiful, heterochromia eyes

...

I've been trying to remember this movies name for years, thanks man. Hopefully its as good as I remember.
