moar like KAH-JIZZ

Hello?

fuckity bye

...

Jack is pansexual of a sort. He's a certain idea of the future, vision that in the future sexual liberation will go so far people would bang everything. He doesn't even have a type. This is how he written - he's oversexed, perpetually horny man, yet is lovable and not some kind of lecher. The one who takes it to the even more absurd extreme is his ex-lover and fellow time agent from Torchwood season 2 who is everything Jack is and is also zoophile.

Point is, Jack is hardly a character relevant to anything real.

What's your favourite cyber-story /who/?

> does sexism even exist in the future?
> there are more black people in 1814 than the movies would tell you
> history is a white wash

I'm fucking hating this character

Jesus Christ, see you… You're a fucking omnishambles, that's what you are. You're like that coffee machine, you know: from bean to cup, you fuck up

Spare Parts

Human Resources or The Harvest

Best line from The Thick of It

>zoophile
w h y

I have hard time liking any of them, because either they are not Cybermen Cybermen stories (As in, they utilize them in place of generic robots for no relevant effect, and I don't think action stories work in DW that well) or they actually utilize Cybermen the way that explores them and I don't like it, because I don't think there's anything wrong with having an awesome metal body and they seem to imply this is the worst.

Have you played everlasting summer, user?

Anyone got a torchwood drive?

The Doctor: it's the end, but the moment has been prepared for...

Bill: So he was The Doctor all the time!

No trip drama.

...

Come to think of it, has any story gone into why people would want to become a cyberman?
Like people that are emotionally messed up or people with disabilities or something

Day of the moon was six. fucking. years. ago.

twitter.com/bbcdoctorwho/status/858731226047414273

I seem to recall something like that happening in Spare Parts but it's been ages since I listened to it so I'm not sure

No it wasnt
nice bait trying to make me feel old

>tfw i can remember watching the eleventh hour like it was yesterday

Anyone knows the OST please?

youtu.be/0e0LA9U6SGA

>you will never get to relive watching season 5 for the first time

Fuck off capaldo. He's the simmposter, the guy who calls everyone Takhbir/Mahmood and also the Nilsoposter. Ever wondered who's shitting up /who/ the most? It's him.

The Harvest, Spare Parts, I listened to The Reaping again last night, very good one. Then, there's also that early Cyberman story with 4/Sarah/Harry. Tomb of the Cybermen is also very good.

Holy shit that's all him? I mean it's impressive but that's worse than Mongo, jfc

t. simmchad

And that's also Cloister Bello/Neo Cloister. He's the one stirring trip drama like when he shitposted a whole thread dedicating himself to making Danny Pink user take off his trip. He's cancer.

youtube.com/watch?v=CLyiwipDbfE

I post Mahmoods and simms sometimes but I'm not a Nilso poster

cut it out. you guys are sounding like you-know-whomst with your witch hunts

Holy shit you're absolutely based! Thought it was from Series 6, I was way off, thanks!

np, I had to look it up myself, although luckily I remembered it was used in the heaven sent next time trailer

It's a good song, disregarding the artwork it's purely Doctor Who related.

Awful
Just awful

Bored, literal cats?

Appreciated, cats.

Why did you even come back?

hi brony artist

lol

Bored, 165your4?

that was indeed the jist of my post. do you like The Massacre?

t. Cletus

Never watched it. Skipped it.

Please don't call me that. I've had death threats before but this is too offensive

Puppet episode fucking when?

why skip such a great story? :(

youtu.be/0Ak4B0nhNzk

>the reason Martha worked so well is because they treated her like any other companion, barring appropriate racial attitudes in human nature. But when you revolve an entire non white character around racial issues

I just want to reprise this comment someone made last thread and point out that the sum total of 'racial issues' with Bill's character thus far are:
>goes into olde England for a story
>this is the only time it's come up
In other words, no more "her entire character" than Martha's.

Fucking idiot.

>you will never be animechad
>you are british sci fi chad instead

I really feel bad. I always thought anime fans are comfy and have great memes and great discussions.
But I'm going to watch Doctor Who for the entirety of my life instead.
Fuck.

Post post-Who but pre-NuWho McCoy pics

Real time

Why don't you do both?

Because you only have one hobby 4life.

Other than Tom, do you think any other Doctor/Companion ever fucked?

Well, I mean, there's this thing
m.youtube.com/watch?v=kt3qZYUPi2Y

That's not really true.
Besides, Doctor Who will be cancelled again eventually, but anime will be around continually, getting shittier and shittier until the day all our eyes burn out.

It's okay to like more than one thing, man.

...

...

Yo dudes! American here. I just thought I'd tell you "blokes" that Doctor Who is fricking awesome. I want to visit Cardiff, England to see all the sets.

Does anyone know if they are going to make a musical episode anytime soon?

Since when does the Doctor call out specific races of human? that line alienated a lot of viewers I bet. BBC will literally be on Thin Ice if they keep shit like this up, they might have a delusional idea of how ''diverse'' Britain is while living in their gated houses, but the majority of Britain is white, the majority of TV licence payers who fund the BBC are white. Tread
very carefully.

back to Sup Forums

>Does anyone know if they are going to make a musical episode anytime soon?
No and don't expect it. It's a show for little kids and deluded adults, the kids would be confused by such a Brechtian device and the adults would throw a shitfit about it being 'silly'.
There is however an audio drama, Doctor Who and the Pirates, which is probably the closest you will get (spinoff media has more freedom with style and format).

Or no, you guys get back into reality. The comments last night did not go down well with the general public. Leave your bubble and you will see that.

>he thinks some racist Sup Forumstards are representative of the general public

Most people aren't still in the 1930's and can accept that black people are human.

>Since when does the Doctor call out specific races of human?
Since when does the Doctor make a concerted effort to ignore the concept of institutional white supremacy--oh right, pretty much 99% of the series. Never mind.

Capaldi loves his wife

>whites are top of the ladder in predominantly white countries
truly mind boggling, isn't it?

Reminder that Capaldi asked the prop team to build a special Doctor ring to cover up his wedding ring so he never had to take it off and risk losing it.

If institutional White supremacy was real, why would there be so much anti-White propaganda in the media?

All except Eccleston

Capaldi is cute. CUTE

She's definitely doing that lift of the leg thing tweens do when they kiss a boy they like.

But she turned away from the smooch. The capaldick was denied

If the Doctor hit it off with a would-be companion only to find out that they were 17 would he still take them away?

Buffy,The Flash and Supergirl have all had musical episodes and they are hardly kids shows.

Doctor Who is the British version of Buffy (since the reboot) and Supergirl and the Flash are American versions of Doctor who (time travel and aliens with even a US version of Torchwood and occasional John Barrowman), so it is quite arring there hasn't been a musical episode yet.

Moff got fed up with the tumblr bashing so he assimilated. Can't beat them, join them.

He's traveled with a few kids.

>Lippmannette and Claudia have both loved the last 3 episodes

youtube.com/watch?v=bkj7zAcpxWA

He was going in for the cheek anyway you autist.

He was going to take Amy when she was like 10.

>so it is quite arring there hasn't been a musical episode yet.
It's a British show and not an American one. The musical episode is not an expected part of our televisual vocabulary.

As a Brit the idea of a musical episode makes me want to die.

I think Adric was 17

Wasn't Ace only 16 or was that disputed?

Reading reviews on the Ace Adventures boxset when I see this: >Have you seen the price for the American issue of Dragonfire? That should let you know what a deal this is. Always a fan of the story as it was really the only "Traditional story" in McCoy's first season. As for The Happiness Patrol....Bar none this is the WORST story in Who history and it doesn't matter what you may think is worse than this, there's no such thing.

Ages of the female companions to the first two Doctors (on TV only):
>Susan: 16
>Vicki: 16
>Katarina: 16
>Sara: 30-ish
>Dodo: 16
>Polly: 24
>Victoria: 14
>Zoe: 18-19

"Mine was one of the first episodes that were finished, so I wonder whether I, unfortunately, set the toilet tone with such a strong theme of crap." - Sarah Dollard.

>tfw 17007 days until the 100th special

Fun Fact: 17007 days ago Soviet author Alexander Isayevich Solzhenitsyn won the Nobel Prize for Literature

The musical episode wasn't part of America's either, despite occasional attempts to force it, until Buffy. The only reason fantasy/sci-fi/superhero shows do it is because they're inspired by Buffy. And RTD was just as inspired by Buffy as Berlanti.

But I don't think that's true for Moffat. The show is much less Buffy-esque than it was in 2005-9. A musical episode with 12 and Clara and the Paternoster gang would be a lot more jarring than one with 10 and Rose and the Tyler family. And Class almost feels like it doesn't fit in with the Doctor Who universe because it's trying so hard to Buffy, but I don't think it would have had that problem in 2008 (although it would still have had other problems, of course).

So, maybe it's a little surprising that RTD didn't do a musical episode, but I'm not at all surprised that there hasn't been one under Moffat.

And Chibnall doesn't seem to be as Buffy-inspired as RTD either. (Although he has mentioned modern American superhero shows, by contrast with Moffat only knowing 1950s-60s ones, so maybe there will be an indirect influence on Chibs that way, if you're desperate for a reason to expect a musical episode.)

/lbg/ > /who/

Come on /lbg/, I thought we were friends ;-;

>degenerates in MY /who/
REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

I watch my little pony too
edgey's done nothing wrong

fuck off edgy

Absolutely RTD was responding to Buffy, but his Doctor Who is still fundamentally in a different box from the shitload of Buffy clones because of how Doctor Who's format works. Even when you have a home base of companion's family/friends like RTD set up, you're still dealing with a new set of characters and a new story every week. There is never going to be a sense of 'how can we take this familiar cast/setting and desperately do something fresh with it? Right time for musical theatre' because that is always covered.

If you assume Silver Nemesis was her present day, and it was about as long after Dragonfire for her as it was for viewers, she'd be 17 when she joined the Doctor.
