A Dark Song is pretty damn good. Just watched it last night.
The Witch (VVitch?)
Not even memeing I thought it was a great movie
Why should I watch a film which is intended to make me feel scared?
Sorry bub, but this thread is for 13 to 18 year olds only. Please leave.
>why should I experience any emotion that isn't boundless joy at all times
Variety is the spice of life, user
Watched it last night too. It starts pretty damm great, but then you realize that nothing is happening. The ending was kinda good visually though.
I rather liked the end. It was unexpected but not in your normal "tweest" sense.
The Innocents
>torture porn
>horror
Yeah nah, fuck off with that shit.
bad
bad
bad
haven't seen it
>The Witch
>bad
t. someone who thinks paranormal activity is horror kino
Bone Tomahawk. The first two thirds is a western that you know can't end well.
Don't Google the final clips and spoil it, the build-up is what makes the payoff so great.
...
does liking found footage spoops make me a subhuman?
i fucking loved the VHS movies and blair witch.
also that one from the 80s about people stuck in a house and getting jerked around by ayylmaos, i think it was called the fuller tapes or something
The Borderlands was pretty good. I also liked Creep.
>The Witch is a bad movie
yeah nah you're just wrong mate, it was fantastic
Fuck I need to rewatch this.
Movie scarred me not to look outside windows at night.
I liked the Void. Not life changing but a good low budget practical effects show was just as nice.

This might as well be the greatest horror movie I've seen
The Exorcist
The Thing
Prince of Darkness
I know people have probably seen them but yeah
Same guy here, also watched this one some weeks ago, it's pretty good.
I've come to realize that the best horror definitely comes from Asia.
I have Creep on my list, so I'll watch it first. I'm seeing that The Borderlans has a really bad audience critic, is it really worth it? Thanks for recs user!
Moral of the story is to never buy a fucking house.
Not him, just wanted to say that i really enjoyed Creep, cool movie.
What's it like to have so much hate in your heartt
mothman prophecies is really underrated. it has a very creepy atmosphere
>HEY YO SHILL SOME MOVIES FOR ME
Watch the scene with the two teens making out in the truck and watch it in slow motion.
Man moth?
Really great movie that no one talks about. Loved the script, etc. And the payoff in that cave. Haha.
Watched those 3 movies. My fave of the bunch is The Thing, but it's good to see there is some love for Prince of Darkness.
Underrated
The Wailing
it's very comfy and made me puzzle about it even after it ended.
Any other asian horror movies I should watch?
I remember watching this with the senpai expecting it to be just another run of the mill Richard Gere drama. Afterwards I almost had a panic attack when I realised it had turned into night and that the blinds were still open. First time a movie genuinely fucked me up on atmosphere alone.
It got sloppy as fick toward the end with the stupid 'hell' section, but I was glad they had the balls to go through with the angel and it all being real.
Most films would have bottled it, ended it 10 mins too early, or put in a tweest where it was all in her head.
Loved the man character, shame they had to make him a wank rapist and kill him.
One of my favorite movies of the last 5 years and it's a fucking debut film.
Does it physically hurt to be so wrong?
Watch it with a dog.
This movie is so fucking boring. The ending scenes don't make up for the fact that the plot goes literally nowhere until it suddenly gets dark.
I understand the point and the purpose of it being how it is, but there's a point where something becomes TOO slow to watch
CHHHHAPSTICKKKK
Yeah, the suspense is best in asia but they have absolutely no idea how to write an ending. Fucking pic related.
Angel apparition was fucking great, it really took me by surprise. Rest of the movie is dull boring nothing happens shit. And what about the sex rites? Didn't get that part. Was it a lie?
The Borderlands is fantastic. Watch it at night for maximum spoop.
Also benefits from a second viewing, there's lots of cool lines, double takes and foreshadowing. One of my favourite folms of recent years
He needed to jerk off coz he was getting a heavy dick from being around her. He rused her but it was genuinely to help the ritual. He needed to be pure.
If they went into the endgame ritual his full balls could have been used to fuck it all up.
It would be epic if they went differently, or, just 2 disturbed people who lock themselves in the house and strength of their delusion makes them slice themselves slowly to death, but always insinuate that something WILL happen.
Now, that would be real horror
You like alternative feels only when you are young,
as you grow older, you experience fear and terror daily so you really need something
that will ease shit.
So ,light movies and stuff like that.
That is the reason why I respect good comedies,
Someone capable to cheer you when you know the deal is highly skilled person.
Stir of Echoes
The first trailer was spooky. Trailer 2 looks shit. youtube.com
The VVitch is literally an edgier artsyer Paranormal Activity
looks cool
>picture not related
Evidently not seen the phonecall scene
that looks like shit
I watched the Autopsy of Jane Doe last night.
Not a great film. But it's a good, solid, well put together film. Great performances. Solid story. Drags just a bit in the middle but pulls through at the end. Keeps you guessing, keeps you interested. Would recommend.
Looks interesting but a massive down-grade from that first trailer
The Bye Bye Man.
Wow, another zombie movie. Yeah, I sure want one of those.
There's a ghost story on Netflix called "I am the Pretty Thing that Lives in the House."
I thought it was pretty great ghost kino, very atmospheric, and yet the same time I can't really recommend it because it's so slow and prodding it would drive most people nuts.
It feels like it's an adaptation of a novel or something and stays very close to the source. It's definitely not made with the average modern horror audience in mind. The kind that has the attention span of kindergartners. The final climax scare scene was one of the most original, but also simplest I think I've ever seen.
i very much liked this one
...
I watched this on the weekend.
It was boring early 2000's studio boardroom garbage.
Main influence for Ridley Scott's Alien.
