Main plot

I just started watching this.

Early on in Season 2 ATM.

That Mike character keeps getting more and more annoying. I wish he wasn't present in Breaking Bad, 'cause I'd love to see him die off on one of these deals gone wrong here before long.

It's alright.
I come for the kino, the pacing, the intricate machinations, the music, and an exciting carrot of meaningful narrative being dangled at the end.

I hope and pray that we get Kim feets for the fourth episode in a row.

I guess that's a nice way to look at it. I'm just sitting around for an hour like where the fuck is my carrot?

I am. As always. BCS and young pope are ultimate pleb filters.

>where the show drags on for an hour

Saul meme threads are borderline weird. you are not really criticizing it, slow progression and focus on characters is what the show is all about.

What the fuck is going on with that anyway?

You had one job, OP.

It's more about character development and context. Just because there's not an explosion every episode doesn't mean there's little progress.

I don't really like the ten minute long scenes of Mike doing "cool" shit set to Ambient Jazz either, but the rest of the show is perfectly fine and just has some minor pacing issues.

hey sorry it isn't constant action to keep your ADD brain occupied friendo. maybe you should watch 3 shows at the same time (1 of them porn hub cuck videos) while youre watching BCS, since you require such constant stimulation.

BCS is a character study. The plot is secondary.

>calls out a minor mispelling
>posts autistic tim and eric shit

you know how i know you're a faggot irl?

I let you suck my dick?

>Chuck is still alive

>a character study.

What does that mean?

I want more chuck/jimmy conflict and less dropping in on mike for 15 minutes to see his cool new way of fucking with the cartel

>OP's bait expertly draws out the Reddit fedoralords who somehow have the time to defend BCS in every thread
Bravo

jimmy plot a shit
I just want a better call mike show

>mike's story line will turn into a successful roadrunner sketch

>>Main plot
>>pain plot

it fits tho

Fucking this, sick of watching Mike sit in his car for 15 minutes per episode for some lame payoff shoved in at the end

>retard's "epic trolling" and contrarion opinions annoy people who genuinely enjoy the show who have to see these same garbage threads constantly

Also, you're the OP. You make threads calling the show Reddit constantly. Samefagging isn't proper practice on anonymous imageboards, friend.

>muh reddit

guys I do not remember how Mike's sotry begins. I remember some daughter and then he contacts a veterinary but then what ?

>there are no explosions and it's slow so it's good

this show has to be the best pleb filter of all

>payoff
>season 2 Mike spends whole season chasing Hector with no payoff whatsoever

Vince is a blueballer.

>prediction : Howard get tired of Chuck's shit with his brother, and drops his ass

Write Yourself into a Corner with Untouchable Characters: The Show

Just jump to post-BB loser Saul already Vince

yeah, every pleb thinks a long nothing happens movie = kino

Kek, works every fucking time
>Also, you're the OP
No I'm not.
>muh meme reaction image

>contrarion
>annoy people who genuinely enjoy the show
>WAHHHHH PEOPLE DISAGREE WITH MY OPINION WAHHHHH

...

I am, and I'm going to enjoy the fuck out of it.
really the only ones that are complaining are people with the attention span of a three year-old child

>hurr durr where da explosions at?

i want a better call mike show where the whole thing is just mike taking an hour to do some stupid shit

Fucking plebs. Mike is the best part of the show. When the first 15 minutes are mike tailing someone with no dialogue you know you are watching pure unadulterated kinography. Jimmy vs his brother is really dragging. Thee hasn't even been any lawyer shit so far this season, just chuck being a cunt which is getting old

>plots and character development the perma superhero and star wars thread people of Sup Forums can't be arsed to follow
>hurr nothing happens

I liked BB but I like BCS better. less memes, more good show

Mike is really based. First I thought he was just in there because people liked him from BB and he was just the connect to Gus, but really Mike on his own is just good television. Probably why there is more backstory to his family etc. rather than juts the Gus/Saul connection

>I like BCS better
Sure ya do Vince

Vince still has a lot of work to bridge the gap between Saul and Jimmy. Watching BB season 5 yesterday and he's shrugging off the murder of that kid on the dirt bike like "oh that's the cost of doing business lol... btw when can we get back to making meth?"

I don't even see how it's possible, unless Saul is Jimmy's evil mirror dimension twin.

>I don't like the show
>I keep watching it

are you a woman?

>makes little progress
wowowow that's way too early, wait the final for the little progress

Something's gonna happen to Kim that will rip his soul to shreds desu

The character study is the plot. It's about how Saul goes full slippin' jimmy and becomes a 'criminal' lawyer

how many season is BCS confirmed for? are they just doing a season by season basis?

BTW when BB started he was still small time, like helping out kids dealing weed. It's only Walt that gets him in the big business.

Well he got fucked over hard as can by the end of S2 and maybe something else happens. Like I expect that Howard throws Kim under the bus at some point career wise.

Nah, all memes aside, season 3 has done more with 3 episodes than the entire 2 seeasons prior. They are now telling the story we want to hear and keeping it moving, thank god.

I honestly think decompression is one of the worst things to happen to storytelling.

I unironically love the slow meandering method of storytelling. I find it very comfy

I love this show, but my only gripe is that Jimmy is just not cool. All those moody scenes where he's supposed to be cool and badass, smoking cigars like a hippie... they're shite.

Literally every week I go in thinking "Well this will drag on and there we be an abrupt ending that will just make me grunt and then disinterestedly carry on with my day."

Don't even know why I bother.

Maybe this show isn't for you OP. We all know how it ends. Just enjoy the ride.

cameos : the show

I wish there was more than one future saul scene a season

Stop watching it then.

I mean seriously if you don't enjoy a programme just drop it whats up with people watching shows they aren't interested in?

Same. He's obviously gonna come out as Saul again/get caught/become a lawyer again and it's going to suddenly go in color and hopefully we get a whole future Saul episode. It will probably be the last one though.

youtube.com/watch?v=VM_5_vQ7nek
>best case scenario I'll be managing a cinnabon in Omaha

Saul must be planning something

Nobody likes Mike, so why does he get so much screen time?

>he doesn't like the only character making the show watchable

what is wrong with u fag

>It's a Mike slowly deconstructs a car piece by piece episode
>It's a Mike slowly sips coffee and eats nuts while looking out a window for 30 minutes episode
>It's a Mike takes 5 tries to throw a pair of shoes onto a wire episode.

pure KINO

wtf are you talking about

its just a reference to a joke from breaking bad

My friend who is an insider told me at the end of the pain arc it's revealed that pain is a former pupil of Jaraiya sensei

He blasts those two cunts back in Boston after they kill his son

>its a mike tries to piss but his prostrate has the size of a tangerine so it takes him 1 hour to empty himself

Lmao at all these underage faggots shitting on Mike when he's this shows best thing

>it's a mike shoots his rifle into the air 50 times for 30 minutes to trick drug runners into thinking it's hunters episode

It is. Every sort of scene is good. The lawyering scenes, the interacting with seniors, it's all just as good as the high suspense crime shit.

HOW Dare YOU NOT ENJOY WATCHING JIMMY SIT IN POLLOS HERMANOS FOR 15 MINUTES. GO WATCH BIG BANG THEORY YOU PLEB

he beats up a guy with le pimento sandwich and then manbaby drug dealer loses his baseball cards

When did Chuck die? And when Saul takes the protagonist?

>Nobody likes Mike
Mike was a fan and writer favorite in Breaking Bad which is why he was even kept around as long as he was, same as Jesse. He was originally supposed to be gone after the Jane cleanup in season 2, just like Jesse was originally supposed to get killed by Tuco in season 1.

So who's getting a 30 minute montage this episode? We've had Saul, Mike and Kim so far. My vote goes to Francesca doing paperwork and answering calls.

gus

What will he be doing?

HE CAN'T KEEP GETTING AWAY WITH IT

mastur bating it

>pain plot

frying chicken and emptying trashbags.

I was thinking about getting a knit tie like Howard's. is that sort of look something that anyone could make worse, or is it just the actor?

>Sorry Mike, He went in and did literally nothing with the bag
>20 minute scene of mike tracking down a cell phone in the middle of the road

that webm is a gem

I can't wait to see Chuck get his comeuppance.

That shit bag deserves every nasty thing that's in store for him.

That scene when Jimmy is waiting on the police and each of the brothers gives the "this is how it's gonna be..." speech, I think both will be true in a way. Didn't he say something about Jimmy's nature hurting everyone he's ever loved (this will be fulfilled when Kimmy gets killed over some type of blowback with the cartel). Then Jimmy said Chuck will have an attack, be taken to the hospital and as he's laying in the bed, all the electricity will fuck him up (or fuck him up psychosomatically, people can be very genuinely hurt if they think they will be hurt intensely enough).

I think both of their predictions about each other's lives will come true in a way.

Yeah, this show can't possibly show enough of Chuck getting fucked up, it should happen more often.

At the end of Breaking Bad S2 Saul and Mike help destroy anything linking Jesse to Janes death which may well have been a murder for all they know

Yeah Saul is a real scumbag while Jimmy is literally an old folks helping nice guy. Something BIGS gotta happen.

Howard really looks quite a bit like a very upscale expensive lawyer. I bet those tailored suits cost thousands, you don't get that look right off the rack.

Mike fucking sucks and is only there to please the brba crowd

Almost all cameos so far suck and are only there to please the brba crowd

Jimmy stuff is great and i wish the "crime" part of the show also involved him instead of mike

Here's the difference between the two brothers. Jimmy McGill is a genuinely good guy. But he may cut corners and do things that are legally questionable in order to further a noble goal (or self-aggrandizement). Chuck believes in the letter of the law, but he's a real corrupt and evil sack of shit. He'll do everything by the book, but it will be towards really corrupt ends.

That and Jimmy McGill is a very likable guy and tends to get further than Chuck on charisma alone which has always burned Chuck up inside. Chuck has no charisma and his prickly demeanor makes people not like him, not to mention being batshit crazy on top of it.

His brother really makes a nice counterpoint to the show. And it's interesting seeing him climb out of his brothers shadow and become something better.

But I really hope Chuck gets some justice brought his way, in a way that's satisfying on a very deep level.

It's understandable that bailing out Jimmy when he was "Slipping Jimmy" left a sour taste in his mouth, but he went from being bitter about that to actively trying to sabotage his brother's life which is just plain evil.

All the cameos suck.

>Gus
>Tuco
>Mike

Yeah, you're trolling.... at this point, the drama with the cameo characters is far superior to the front stage story of Jimmy McGill.... but I think Jimmy/Saul's story is really getting to where it needs to be.

That's what I figured. It's also a NEW reason to hate Chuck, with expecting his partner to crawl through backyards in his incredibly expensive, tailor made suit.

It doesn't seem slow to me

Last episode he waited out in front with Jimmy WITHOUT the blanket until the cops came.

What the shit Vince, what gives?

Vince is a master and literally all the little details often convey deep meaning. They were illustrating that Chuck DOES care about Jimmy and will put (what he perceives to be) his personal safety in jeopardy for him....

... but in a real misguided attempt to help, he nearly always causes far more harm to Jimmy than good. One man's life plan/goals/values do not necessarily work well for someone else.

This whole season so far has been fast paced and it's actually been the content we want to see. How Jimmy becomes Saul/crime shenanigans with Gus and Mike. The family/relationship drama does not take front and center stage. They're also making adequate use of Odenkirk's comedy chops which has always been what people loved most about Saul....

Season 3 is what we've wanted to see. Season one and 2 were okay, but they were very slow. They could have delivered all the important content from those 2 seasons in 5 episodes....

I think Gilligan has this notion that if he takes forever to tell this story, it will just keep getting renewed. I suspect the producers called him out on the filibuster because of low ratings and told him to get to the point.... which is good, another slowburn season will probably get this show cancelled before he tells the story he wants to.

That is an insanely stupid thing to overlook on their part but then again it's proven that his "illness" is completely in his head so who the fuck knows

I enjoy the show and enjoy the memes.

>fast paced

BINGO

Now Jimmy needs to acknowledge this in the show.

I'm so excited to see Mike's next MacGyver style plan.

Wasn't it so exciting to see him get Sneakers and Drugs to frame the Mexicans?

It has been bro. Fast paced like an action flick? Of course not. But for a drama, every bit as faced paced as breaking bad was.....

and considering the last 2 seasons you'd have strings of many episodes where absolutely nothing notable happened, this is a welcome change.
