Yfw the future of filmmaking is Full CGI

We've been able to make slightly real-looking still CGI people for years. The problem is with animating them so they actually look human.

Also, wouldn't a full CGI movie just be an animated film?

I'm ready to 3d print my Kristen Stewart fuck doll while using my HTC Vive

>Also, wouldn't a full CGI movie just be an animated film?

Yeah, the trick is disassociating the term's connotation from meaning "children's cartoon."

the future of kstew is my dick

>be beautiful skank that can't act for shit
>loan your image to the west coast jews
>make mad cash while sitting at home doing drugs

Dawn and War's apes look convincingly real. Perhaps not every ape character, and Caesar might have an imperfect-looking shot here and there, but the effect is very close to flawless.

Apes might have some physical qualities that makes them easier to animate than humans, or perhaps there's less uncanny valley effect because we simply spend a lot more time looking at real people than at real apes, idk

>Kyung Up Hyun
Why do Asians have such stupid names?

I'm sure if apes could talk they'd complain about how creepy and uncanny valley that movie's apes were

I wonder if any researcher has shown their chimps scenes from these movies

>tfw CDProject Red is not going to base Ciri's waifu on KStew for The Witcher 4...why even live...

>kiddie has never seen S1mone

Easier to hide when they are all dark colored and covered in hair.

There won't be another Witcher game.

Wow. She looks really fucking hot in that photo. Im not particularly a kstew fan but, damn.

Considering how they are milking the franchise with Gwent, i pretty sure theres going to be at least one game set on the same universe, but not with Geralt as the MC.
When Ciberpunk gets released i see a new Witcher game by 2085 at least.

tfw No Vesemir witcher game

Makes you wonder what kinds of videos they'll make when people can't tell that they made them.

If there was such a thing as a "white" chimp, Caesar would be one

People are obsessed with reality tv stars. How is CGI going to replace that?

You're dumb.

It's not a photo...

>nigger actually put copyright on this

god i cant wait for vr where i can make sweet love to a perfect 3d copy of kstew

easier to just turn the entire population into manchildren 2bh

Get to modeling her sweety feets and then we'll talk about 3D printing kstew.

?

They will never have good photorealistic cgi until they model every nerve, every blood vessel, every blood cell in a person's body. It's these subtle things that make people & animals look alive.

>with VR you'll finally be able to blast hot yogurt ropes onto your waifu's face without the risk of a lawsuit

They only look convincingly real because you aren't exposed to chimps as much as you are people. It's like you can't tell if dialogue in Finnish is bad since you don't speak FInnish.

Not with Nolan behind our backs

it looks good, but when they focus in some monkey you can notice.
The tiger in Life of Pi surprised me that they never used a real tiger in that movie. Looked real to me in a lot of scenes.

these Silicon valley autists better give me my sick VR wank machine before I KILL myself

You can buy fleshlight that can be connected to a smartphone(60$), and a vr headset for the phone. pornhub vr and boom,

>pleb wants a wank machine rather than a life like sex bot
just another 2, 3 or 4 decades.

It's not about exposure, it's about humans literally being programmed to recognize faces. We can remember insanely small details in faces, extremely fast, we can't do that with anything else. There's a whole section of the brain dedicated to that. There's even a disorder involving that section of the brain called face blindness. That's why animating human faces is so impossibly difficult compared to animals or fantasy creatures. The closer we get, the more difficult it seems to improve further. Objectively, the efforts are almost perfect these days, but it's still not convincing. Just a little stiffness in the movements, somewhat off texture of the skin and the whole illusion is immediately killed.

Anyway, that's why I think CGI people will not replace actors any time soon. Even with motion tracking animated people look horrible. They are getting better at it, but it's not like it's getting proportionally easier. The extent of work that goes into a 20 second scene with one CGI character in it is absolutely ridiculous. Nobody talks about it because animators are treated like dirt in Hollywood, but the progress comes with a huge price.

So basically more black films, gotcha.
