Offside is literally impossible to explain in words only.

You need at least a whiteboard, if not a video.

*dabs*

just don't be behind the last defender haha

>Offside is literally impossible to explain in words only.

Have you ever tried explaining offside to somebody who has no clue how it works? It's fucking ridiculous. Please, explain the offside rule to me in words only. I bet you can't even do it in under 100 words.

why do americans love to drink out of plastic containers?

haha it's really simple sweety you see The blue forward on the left of the diagram is in an offside position as they are in front of both the second-last opponent (marked by the dotted line) and the ball. This does not necessarily mean they are committing an offside offence. It only becomes an offence if the ball is played or touched by a team mate while they are in an offside position and subsequently becomes involved in active play according to the definitions given in the Laws of the Game no matter if any of these events occur after they move to an onside position.

BTFO

Literally the same as hockey why do people think this hard to understand?

>red cups
easy 360 out the door

What if the ball comes off the post?
What if the ball comes off the keeper?
What if the ball is played by a defender?
What if the ball comes off the referee?
What if it's a throw-in?
What if it's a goal kick?
What if it's a corner kick?
What if it's a penalty kick?

Continuing
What if just their hand is offside?
What if they're on their own half of the field?

This is what I mean when I say it's difficult to explain offside in words only, there's way too many variables and "unless..." when you're explaining offside.

polish girls are trashy af

Are you retarded? No its not. Not at all.

An player cannot be behind the last defender line when a pass is kicked towards him.
16 words, not bad.

There’s a line the ball/puck can’t cross unless there’s a defender in position first, literally what’s the difference?

depends if the finishing player was behind the offside line when his teammate kicked the ball
depends if the finishing player was behind the offside line when his teammate kicked the ball
goal is allowed
literally impossible, considering the ref positions himself outside the box all the time
offside
depends, if the finishing player was behind and opposing player or the half-way line, the goal is allowed
offside
considering all players are behind the ball line in a penalty kick, the goal is allowed

goal is allowed
see 6# explanation above

I don't know anything about your figure skating dogshit, but you didn't even get close to describing football's offside rule.

>106 words
