Cary Joji Fukunawa returns as director. Shoots on 35mm film exclusively. Nic Pizzaparty is drawn and quartered prior to production. Then pooped on.

As long as Fukunawa has control then the Holy Spirit will create greatness through him as in Season 1. Also Season 3 will tie in to Season 1. More Lovecraft, more cults, more asbestos.

>Michael Pitt and Ian McShane portray two U.S. Deputy Marshals in 1890 New Mexico, looking for a mysterious group that murdered a covenant of Catholic nuns

Chris Pine + Jon Hamm

gross

This but maybe like 1930

It's animated and set in 2090 Baltimore

Change Pitt to someone else and I am interested.

Tilda Swinton reprising her role as
Gabriel working together with Keanue Reeves to take down big boss man Peter Stormare. Lets fucking do this. Throw Eva Green in there to top TD Season 1 Ep 2.

This sounds interesting. The turn of the last century was an interesting time, especially im the west.

My season 3 is melissa mcarthy as a brand new sherrif in west texas (texas elects sherrifs). She comes up on 3 murders in 2 months so austin sends in a texas ranger. Idris elba. 1 year away from retirement.

At first it looks like mexican cartels, but it ends up being FUCKING SPACE ALEINS

Also there is a super graphic sex scene

John C. Reilly and Danny McBride

Doing what?

Just screaming at each other for like 58 minutes straight.

>At first it looks like mexican cartels, but it ends up being FUCKING SPACE ALEINS

Should swap these

Meh that just seems like a season 2 ending.

Just think about mcarthy and elba nathed in ufo lightomnthe final shot.

And im not even joking about mcarthy. I think she would be perfect as the fuck up sherrif that solves everything. Elba can be changed, but mcarthy is the sherrif. And this has to happen in deep west texas. Like marfa.

LA in 2003

After music mogul Antoine Sartain's (Isaiah Washington) rappers are murdered, Sgt. Joe Gavilan (Harrison Ford) and police Detective K.C. Calden (Josh Hartnett) start to investigate. Initially distracted -- Joe by his real estate transactions, K.C. by his acting aspirations -- the partners pull together when internal affairs officer Bennie Macko (Bruce Greenwood) starts hounding Joe. The two men prove skilled at police work, but they'll also need help from Joe's psychic gal pal (Lena Olin).

Set in Texas, deals with Juarez Cartel but more specifically - a serial killer(s) in Texas who are leaving behind some Mexican Occult themes based in their "sacrifices". Bad for business for the Cartel, Antonio Banderas plays Cartel Boss, Diego Luna plays the Cartel's hitman sent out to find the serial killer, Joaquin Phoenix plays the Cop on the case with Louis C.K. as another Cop who goes by the book. Matthew McConaughey reprises his role as Rust who is working as a Private Detective in Texas.

BEAT THAT. JUST TRY.

A Cult could be behind the killings, a cult with some high-up politicians involved too.

Take out cuck king and it would be great

Amy Schumer and Lena Dunham. It will take place in NYC, busting child sex rings based out of pizza parlors

>Set in 2017/early 2018 also.

Louis CK is just your average guy, with a few quirks which really fucking irritate Joaquin's character. He plays a divorcee, an alcoholic, he always tries to lighten the mood so to speak but besides that, he is the straight shooter who is a lazy but good detective. Joaquin's character knows how to bend the rules, from time to time, his character is just a really good detective who knows how to fire a gun. Antonio Banderas is a sweetheart of a guy, not your typical tough guy gangster cartel - just a family man who sees all this awful shit happening on his turf. Diego Luna is Banderas' pitbull, he wants to catch these sick fucks who are doing this. Involves tech-cyber crime and hacking - where videos are posted online. Rust has been in Texas for 2 years now and becomes interested in the case as it seems to be a cult - that is similar to the Yellow King's. Rust has been experiencing some pretty weird demonic dreams/and dreams of God ever since he saw the portal and he is abusing shit like valium.

Brendan Fraser + Ed Furlong

Pizzagate

Could actually be cool

Sounds good, and thank you for not casting Louis as the bad cop for the sake of stunt casting. Get rid of Rust though, that story is closed. You'd only be beating a dead horse.

Wtf was that shit :D

Ted Danson and Kelsey Grammar

Britt Marling and laura Dern

The dude from hanging with mr cooper and the petit version of selma hyack,

Set in Appalachia

>Retired detectives Patrick Wilson and Michael K Williams investigate a missing persons reported on an Indian reservation

Jim Carey
Johnny Depp

A coke bust that goes wrong has Carey sidig with a high profile criminal, taking his cut to fund his crippled daughters hospital bills. Depp begrudgingly accepts whats happening, finding himself covering up for his partner and arranging a plan to murder the crime boss to clear the debts. The crime boss lives by a code of survival of the fittest, obsessed by it almost, hosting underground fight clubs, boxing matches and moving to eliminate his competition. When the pair catch him alone, Depp says how he can't pull the trigger despite his taunting. Carey blows his brains out then turns on Depp and shoots him dead. Carey takes the bosses position, challenging anyone to say a bad word against him.

Survival of the fittest and all that.

>Gyllenhaal and Walton Goggins are a cop duo that investigates pizzaparty rings, the two find out that s01 and s02 are connected and that there's a great cp conspiracy in the american government.
>The main villain behind the conspiracy is the female politician Hillary Rottham played by Amy Schumer

Set in Vladivostok or Far East Russian city

-Milla Jovovich: qt russian detective
-Hugh Laurie: le corrupt russian cop

-Vin Diesel: retired soldier, fought in Chechnya, performs ancient Siberian rituals on drug addicts, but starts to target political figure's family members

Mads and Viggo. Not sure about the setting but I definitely know I want those two on screen together. Maybe some kind of Danish immigrant cop buddy duo in post-WW2 America. Maybe one was collaborationist and had to flee the homeland leading to tension when the other discovers his sordid past. Nazi occultism might be neat, too, if it's not too overplayed by now.

>vin diesel attempting a russian accent

Please, no. Also the idea of them just speaking English in a different accent is retarded. Just hire Russian actors and use subtitles instead.

Sergei Puskepalis as the war vet

there are not enough cock suckers in new mexico

I think him in a supporting role would be really good. Him crossing paths with the two lead Detectives and supplying them with information and intel would help fill out their team.

The cult they are dealing with are organized, contain high up politicians in Mexico and the United States and use prostitutes and children which sort of makes the Yellow King cult look like a backyard bush league. So, the thread should unravel... It may look like the work of some Satanic local superstitious cult at first until we see it could possibly be one of the biggest cults that extend all the way to LA - Hollywood specifically.

Tying it to both seasons, should be a subplot in itself, as we see

Will smith + martin lawrence.

Bad guys are white.

Rust and Marty reunite and work together on a new case

/thread

Paul Rudd, Ryan Gosling, Rachel Bilson.

They uncover a creepy incest family in the mountains of West Virginia that has been in-breeding and isolated since the 1800s.

sounds like a hit

>They uncover a creepy incest family in the mountains of West Virginia that has been in-breeding and isolated since the 1800s.
So, the average Trump voter?

I hear the first season is really good. Is it standalone? Is it possible to get out satisfied without watching season 2?

S1 of True Detective might be the greatest television ever created. It is standalone. S2 has its moments, it gets shat on a lot because it's not as good as S1 but it's not a complete waste of time.

set if after Rust quits the State Police and goes rouge, investigating the tuddle/childress cult across several states

along the way he gets into more shit, fucking with criminals, having tuttles family out to get him, meeting some other like minded people who have lost friends and family to the yellow king and are investigating it for themselves

its technically bringing back the characters from season 1 but one be a sequel after the events of season 1. This should get the show some credibility after season 2's problems and hopefully give them enough ground work to get a proper 4th season with a new story. Really if they dont match the success of season 1 this time around the show doesnt stand a chance, so I wouldnt care if its a cheap fan service cash grab for now

yes
yes
absolutely yes

how opposed are you guys to a period setting?

>1900s texas, say around 1906-1910
>a small town family is butchered in their home with an axe, two texas rangers investigate
>the father was involved in a feud with a corrupt railroad barron, who was known to use his connections and force to get what he wanted
>when similar axe murders begin happening in the city of austin, the rangers work with the corrupt autsin police department and mayors office to put a stop to the killings
>the big twist is the barron hired a thug to scare the family, but the thug was a lot more crazy then he relized
>he kills the family, sparking a blood lust that has him on a killing spree around the city, and is being protected by the barron and his cronies who are trying to cover it up

almost forgot

Tom Davis & Martin Kemp investigate the murders of prostitutes in Victorian London

I'd watch that

It's a contest story.

A group of Middle School children must solve a murder mystery in a haunted house before they are all murdered. Whoever is left standing is crowned The True Detective and is given a million dollars and an advanced copy of Death Stranding.

Werner Herzog and Ryan Gosling investigate a series of brutal killings in upstate New York in the 1980s.

This would be the best outcome.

When a Chinese diplomat's daughter is kidnapped in Los Angeles, he calls in Hong Kong Detective Inspector Lee (Jackie Chan) to assist the FBI with the case. But the FBI doesn't want anything to do with Lee, and they dump him off on the LAPD, who assign wisecracking Detective James Carter (Chris Tucker) to watch over him. Although Lee and Carter can't stand each other, they choose to work together to solve the case on their own when they figure out they've been ditched by both the FBI and police.

With Ryan Gosling and Jake Gyllenhaal, Bingbing Fan as support (chinese market incentive); late 70s to early 80s, it's about Wah Ching (triad) providing drugs for MKUltra-esque program involving big movie stars, throw in some Hollywood shit and BAAM!, season 1 tier.

...

Oh and Paul Thomas Anderson and David Lynch as guest directors, but go back to Fukunaga and Pizzolatto, and give the man the time he needs goddammit!

THE WRONG SON DIED.

could be awesome
black helicopters and canadian drug trafficking. some cool interworkings with the native population, res life and shit could get depressing/interesting

Jake Gyllenhaal and and Ed Norton are private investigators in Hong Kong investigating a series of gruesome murders and cultish of the city's elite.

Liam Neeson and James Mcovoy, Edinburgh, 1970's. Investigating a protestant murder

Fuck I don't know it sounded better in my head

CIA agent Bill Wilson investigates series of mysterious plane crashes all over the country.
The dark secret he uncovers is bigger than anyone could imagine.
