It's awesome to see how people can overcome their autism, grats op

You can barely make it through a sentence. There's no way you can make eye contact with another living thing, let alone stand your ground.

What?

Smart move OP, you would've revealed your autism level.

>I want to stand up and make a republican defense about how little kids should be die

kek

also doesn't the bill require coverage for preexisting condition and also aren't there special laws for children and also don't the states handle it individually?

but forget that they just want everyone to think glomp wants to kill kids lmao

Why can't conservatives relate when someone has an altruistic response to a personal experience? Even if I were to disagree with his point I'd still see a guy who doesn't want other parents to suffer what he was lucky enough to avoid. I wouldn't immediately write him off as a shill.

Is that new hot actress from the VVitch?

you fuckers can pay for the sick children, just don't be crying like a bitch when your premiums goes up.

Is this a false flag?

>altruism
>government
Choose one

Does r/tv/ recommend that I watch this?

yeah man people were just dying in the streets until 2011 or whenever the fuck obamacare started

>If we socialize health care, it'll get more expensive!
>If we socialize health care, it'll make the government bigger!
>If we socialize health care, I'll have to pay more in taxes!
>If we socialize health care, I'll have to pay taxes to take care of old people and the extremely poor!

What are some other famous kike lies, Sup Forums?

we also have the best healthcare

Nah, pic related the patrician's late night comedy choice.

>not punching them in the face for there liberal fascist views

pussy-desu

I do love me some Stephen "Put the Fags In Body Bags" Colbert

statistically, no. Compared to other Western countries the statistics are awful

This was the last time they met as friends...

Is it twice as good as everyone else's?

If not, why do we pay twice as much?

probably

because we're fat

i get it but i still dont think its the governments place to fund healthcare. i want to keep my money and make my own decisions with it.

plus jimmy kimmel can afford better healthcare than obamacare

>meeting at work
>everyone is outspokenly against Trump
>a few people know that I'm a Trump supporter since they saw on fb that I attended a Trump rally twice
>they're making hard eye contact at me wanting me to take a stand
>look down and pretent i'm writing something

;_;

i want to be her stay at home pusy slave

Access to coverage and useful coverage that normal people coughs afford are two different things

The US pays significantly more for healthcare without significantly better outcomes. It's retarded.

We should adopt a system like Switzerland's if you really care about muh free market

It's perfectly natural for minimum wage to remain constant for decades while inflation marches on.

KARBLED WRUMTZ

LOL

Survival of the fittest bitch. Kimmel just had low test sperm.

lol. why are Sup Forumstards such fucking pussies irl?

Can someone explain this Colbert neo-meme to me? What's with the sudden hub-bub surrounding him? Haven't late-night talk show hosts been roasting Trump since he started his bid for the White House, so why specifically target Colbert? And why now?

>youtubers get more views in 3 months than colbert

jesus christ

It's just the latest meme trend, Colbertposting is probably gonna be dead within a month or two

The truth is out there.

...

One thing that wasn't made clear in the monologue is that the children's hospital he went to charges nothing for anybody. If your kid is fucked up enough to get treatment there it is for free, period. It relies entirely on donations, grants, funding etc.

T h e y w a l k a m o n g u s.

>I want to stand up and make a republican defense about how little kids should be die
This is the weakness of the conservative positions. If you vocalize them honestly, it becomes immediately clear the lack of empathy they betray.

BASED PUSSYPOSTER

>the children's hospital he went to

Oh! Well if everyone just goes to that specific hospital in California!

You're retarded

>this had sex before I did
>this procreated before I did

> you are objectively less attractive than that

But I don't actually have any money. You need to pay for my altruism.

>implying any child was ever denied emergency service at any American hospital in the last 100 years at least
Why was he allowed to get away with this?

come over to my place and i'll give you a altruism

This kind of scenario is debated often in medical ethics seminars:

1. you have a limited supply of money

2. you can either save:

a. 100 regular people with regular cases

OR

b. 1 very sick infant

How do you choose?

The only outcome where America outperforms the rest of the world is cancer treatment. In a lot of the other outcomes America isn't even close to world standard, it's pathetic really.

>we wont deny you services but we're also going to charge you so much you and your child will be paying it off the rest of your lives

>and despite what you think about muh free market you can't negotiate anything or shop around

Or just skip out on the bill and we'll pass the cost along to the taxpayer anyway

Is this a rectum-derived fact or do you have some sauce to back up claim? Preferably a non-EU source?

commonwealthfund.org/publications/issue-briefs/2015/oct/us-health-care-from-a-global-perspective

is this normal for american hospitals?

OP, you'll never win an argument by saying that babies should die.

There's a case to be made for doing away with obamacare, and the case to be made is that it is raising the cost of healthcare for everyone, as are insurance companies.

We used to have community partnerships that would hire doctors on a salary basis, who would then treat anyone in the partnership for "free". It was a great fucking system, and kept health care costs down. The problem is that doctors who weren't in the system lobbied the government to get rid of it. there efforts were succesful, and the AMA was formed, driving up health care costs for everyone.

In addition to that, patent law is being abused by big pharma to strangle the lifeblood out of america. Let's get rid of, or severely reduce pharmaceutical patents, to stop legal monopolies from blackmailing everyone.

I believe if you took the government out of healthcare in these ways, prices would begin getting back under control.

jfc is this real? there's no way this is real

Yeah, I was in the hospital for two nights a couple months ago and it cost me around $6,500 after insurance

depends on what the procedure was but shit like this can happen even if you have insurance

>have medical emergencies like a heart attack or stroke
>Ambulance comes to get you and takes you to a hospital that isn't "in network"
>you have no choice in the matter and might even be unconscious
>they need to operate and the doctors aren't in network either
>insurance won't cover any of the procedures because you should have gone in network

Yes, we spend the most on healthcare because we have the most money. Idk what this is supposed to prove? This isn't indicative of overall quality and if anything it proves that we actually do have the receive the best healthcare being that we spend so much on ourselves.

>no but countries with socialised healthcare are constantly complaining about their systems
Yeah, when you've got a high baseline you can afford to tinker with the system to ensure the best result for your population. Rather than spend all of your time listening to your politicians bullshit about "access to insurance".

I'm the user from this post
There was no ambulance ride, I wasn't unconscious during any of it, and there was no operation. They gave me a fuckton of IV fluid and did a bunch of tests as well, but nothing invasive occurred. Sometimes the price for this kind of thing just snowballs

>we spend the most on healthcare because we have the most money
that doesn't make any sense at all.

lmao @ Americans

Yes. American hospitals have to serve anyone who comes through their doors. A lot of terminally bankrupt rednecks, blacks, and mexicans abuse this by visiting the emergency room for minor ailments. These people will never pay their bills, because they don't make enough money to do anything with it, or they'll just continually file bankruptcy to dodge debt collection efforts. Emergency services are fucking expensive to maintain, so this makes it hard to run a hospital. To make up for this, anytime the hospital gets someone with good insurance, or a lot of money, they'll do a shit ton of procedures on them, to milk that insurance for all it's worth.

The insurance company pays people to investigate these cases to make sure this isn't happening. They comb your bill for anything they think they can refuse to pay for. Whatever they find, you end up having to pay for it.

>Or just skip out on the bill and we'll pass the cost along to the taxpayer anyway

If there was universal health care this is what would happen anyway so i don't see the big deal

You spend the most per capita and have either similar or worse outcomes than countries that spend almost half of what you spend.

What is this supposed to prove? We don't even know what this person got. They could've got a fucking heart transplant for all you know. Should I have to pay for your heart transplant?

it depends on your health insurance tier

if your insurance is pretty good, you have to pay out of pocket for a deductible ($1500 a year for mine) and the rest is absorbed by the insurer and negotiated rates between hospital and insurer

i had elective surgery which cost $43,000, but wound up paying $1200

You can sometimes even get screwed if you do go in network but one of the people on the surgical team like the anesthesiologist isn't in your network

>having the most money therefore spending the most money doesn't make sense to me.
It might be time for bed, user.

For insurance to actually pay out $40,000+ that must have been a serious visit. Insurance companies only pay when they absolutely have to, their whole business is betting against the chance of having to actually pay your bills so they can just collect premiums and make money off your policy. Whenever you file a claim they go over it with a microscope to make sure it actually fits the policy guidelines and also to make sure the Hospital isn't jewing you.

Also, Hospitals often don't expect people to pay those extravagantly large bills.

>If there was universal health care this is what would happen anyway

what? if there were universal healthcare money would be taken from your taxes so the cost would be distributed

for his 12 month stay at the hospital that's quite cheap tb-h

>American hospitals ever not jewing you

"Data published by the International Federation of Health Plans suggest that hospital and physician prices for procedures were highest in the U.S. in 2013.10 The average price of bypass surgery was $75,345 in the U.S. This is more than $30,000 higher than in the second-highest country, Australia, where the procedure costs $42,130."

Do you pay more for a meal in a restaurant than the person at the table next to you if you have more money in your bank account?

>fuckers actually remind the patient the bill is their responsibility

american healthcare is a fucking joke but i guess that's what happens when medical school costs 200k$

Do you not understand the difference between just a sum of money, and the amount of money spent per capita?

both because

>muh feelz

>skip out on the bill and we'll pass the cost along to the taxpayer anyway

>pay more money
>get worse outcomes

awesome

...

HAHAHAHAH PUSY POSTER

Why do you let your government make bad deals?

>similar or worse outcomes
No, I've seen European dentistry. It's fucking appalling. I can only imagine how shitty your hospitals are. I've seen no evidence that America doesn't have the best outcome. Also, spending per capita doesn't mean that our healthcare is worse. Your countries have socialized healthcare and you don't even have a choice of a provider. Using spending as a sole indicator of quality is fucking stupid.

>pay more money
>worse outcome
>waiver forced to sign at admittance releases hospital and physician of responsibility

keeps getting better

>I've seen no evidence
Legit, are you blind?

Let me start out by saying the ban will be worth it. Let me educate you fucking idiots, even with only 2000 characters.
The truly conservative viewpoint is not an opposition to altruism, only altruism through government. Here's why.
1) The government spends EVERYONE'S MONEY and therefore whatever it does should benefit EVERYONE. This is why the government should be limited to a very specific range of things, ie. Defense, International affairs. Everything else can be done by State Governments, and their rules should also strictly be based around policies that benefit everyone. This is principle, otherwise they slowly become facist because they are involved in everything. Who will crack the whip on government when they fuck up? The government? Yeah right.
2) The government isn't even fucking efficient enough to properly handle its policies. Need proof? We outspend every country in education, healthcare, military, etc. Our education is shit, our healthcare is shit, and we can't even finish any conflicts in the Middle East The reason the Government doesn't properly function is 2 fold. A) If they solve the problem, then they can't convince you to pay them to solve a problem (the government is in the business of keeping itself employed). B) They are all genuinely unqualified to handle these problems because the federal government takes on complicated tasks with naive, simple solutions
>muh fucking common core standards
3) The fucking government impedes the private sector from solving our problems. How many industries actually have less effective results and higher costs as time progresses? Just count how many have the government too involved. Why is it computers and flat screens costs less nowadays but Martin Shreli (sp) can raise prices on his AIDS medicine? The answer is the government gives him a fucking monopoly on production. Reduce regulation and watch industries flourish.

TLDR: IT'S POSSIBLE FOR PRIVATE PARTIES TO SOLVE PROBLEMS IF GOVERMENT WOULD GTFO.

Are you retarded? US has best survival rates for nearly 100% of diseases, cancers, complications, etc.

You know nothing. You have no clue how many layers people are on here

>are you blind
Not an argument

It's okay though because Jimmy Kimmel is daddy as fuck

>Preguntas?\

KEK. TRULY AMERICAN

shit like this is fucking weird.
I think in norway or finland they make so many doctors that there are unemployed surgeons.

The fuck does "daddy" in this context even mean? I'm genuinely curious

You're confusing altruism with a childish response to a very serious matter. Yes, it'll sound good - if you're a retard - when someone says "I believe everyone should have access to healthcare!!!!", just like it sounds good when someone says "I believe we shouldn't have wars and should have world peace!!!!"

Guess what, healthcare, much like everything else, isn't free. You're paying with tax money for an incompetent establishment (the government) to use your money to deal with healthcare, when this could be done in a much more efficient (and cheaper) way.

The problem is that the "altruistic" people don't let the much needed conversation happen, because suggesting to not have universal healthcare turns you into Hitler.

>worse outcome
Proofs? Keep in mind, I've seen British dentistry

Libshits don't give a fuck about dead babies. 9/10 of them would've aborted that little fucker if it was them. It's all just hypocritical virtue signalling bullshit so they can prove how much they hate drumpf

Try reading the thread m8. I provided you with a source that you've either not read or are willfully ignoring.

>all burden on private sector
>suddenly majority of claims are considered fraudulent
>everyone is worse off

fuck no

this is actually the correct answer, meaning, it is what american healthcare attempts to do, and as a result, it is very expensive

Infant
Adults had their chance at life
