For teen shit, in which I loathe, this was surprisingly watchable. More watchable than the marvel shows and stranger things.
She doesn't really show her feet that much in the show 2bh. Just give it a try. You'll fall in love with her and hopelessly reminisce your own high-school years.
Ryan did wrong but his intentions were good. He didn't try to make himself look better, he just thought that Hannah's poem was so good that it's okay to anonymously post it and didn't bother to ask for permission. Plus he was the only one who talked back to Courtney.

the suicide scene had enough impact to make me depressed for a few hours, but that was the only part in the show that made me feel anything.

its one of the better netflix productions, first few eps are slow and boring, but last couple of episodes are decent.
Both 2bh. The main plot is enough to keep you interested and because my own school life was so uneventful and dull, it's bittersweet to look at the show's depiction of school life (though probably exaggerated but nevertheless). The show also don't shy away from showing "edgy" things which is nice.

One of the most well produced shows I've seen in a while with some pretty good acting from a young cast. The first half of the series is cringey in that melodramatic highschool way, but the tone improves a lot in the second half when the seriousness ramps up.

I was calling Hannah melo dramatic all the way through the series, but once you get to Bryce's tape it makes sense. All of the other events didn't really contribute to the suicide. They were merely just Hannah getting things off her chest. The show needed a big event to trigger the suicide to avoid getting that petty label, and the rape did just that. Glad Netflix went that route.
No wonder Justin is so screwed up in the present time. He could have prevented two rapes from going down.

Porter really belongs in a lower tier. She basically admitted to being raped and he didn't do a thing. Parents should have been called to the school to coax out the full truth from Hannah. Guidance counselors spend their entire careers getting ready for moments like that, and he failed miserably.

Only characters I felt bad for at the end was justin and clay. Hannah was a weak person who walked from one bad decision to the next. She should have just kept her head down after a while
Not really user, she teases them but never really shows them properly (or that's what I remember at least, it has been a while since I finished the show so I could be forgetting some scene). Sorry.
I don't know how driving schools in america work but here I was taught to never rely purely on signs or traffic lights, always double check when approaching a potentially dangerous intersection or when you can't see very well to the other direction. The whole concept that a knocked down stop sign caused his death seems ridiculous to me.

Yeah as much as I hate to admit it, this show was pretty excellently executed.
It pisses me off because the concept doesn't deserve to work. Hannah is annoying as all hell. Recording tapes like that is obnoxious. But it all kinda just comes together.
Clay's performance is outstanding and the use of foreshadowing is really well done. The writing is legitimately great and anyone denying that doesn't understand what good writing is.

Just a "normal" high school in finland. People rarely called each other by their full name, doubly true when kids talked to eachother. If multiple people had the same first name then the other(s) were addressed by their surname.

Now that I think about it, we actually called each other by just last names a lot more than full names.
I like how it showed the lack of involvement by parents in the lives of their kids. Almost every kid's parents were shown (minus the poetry guy), and each set was oblivious to what was going on in the lives of their kids. My favorite scene might be Jessica confessing her rape to her dad in the final episode, pretty deep stuff.
