Is this the second greatest Vietnam War movie ever made?

Is this the second greatest Vietnam War movie ever made?

ya sure

i liked it

IMO its really far down the list. Its less about the war and more about a character. Good flick though.

What would the first be OP? Newfag here

underrated for sure dont know about second best though, good morning vietnam would probably take that place

I enjoyed it a lot. Felt so bad when his friend died.

that was horrifying just for how quickly it happened

It was heart breaking how he kept thinking about him afterwards. I read the film caused quite a shit storm with one of the character's family because he was represented as an asshole in the movie, while apparently he really wasn't in real life.

Horrifically underrated kino

What's the 1st? Platoon? Apocalypse Now? FMJ? We Were Soldiers? Good Morning Vietnam? First Blood? Forest Gump? The Green Berets?

probably my favourite film of all time

This guy gets it.

The doc by Herzog (same director) is better

My 2 from those would be Kel Gibson in Vietnam and Chalrie Sheen & Willem Dafoe get drafted

which doc? he's made a lot

Little Dieter Needs to Fly

Uncommon Valor

Funny way of spelling We Were Soldiers

i met werner herzog at chapman uni

he was a really nice guy and his eyes were ocean blue

>he was a really nice guy and his eyes were ocean blue
did you fall in love?

he told me he was going to north korea to do a doc apparently

Excellent taste, user.

That was that Into the Inferno doc, no?

No, the film with Bale is. More powerful images.

naw he's going back again apparently. i met him like 2 weeks ago

The Deer Hunter

Is Deer Hunter worth it?
I tried to watch Heaven's Gate and it just bored the everloving shit out of me.

Im cold ;-;

dfbegtrebw

It's my turn to stack the fridge.

it was alright, pretty boring desu

It is pretty great, cry almost every time at the end.

my only problem with it was
IT AIN'T ME

Apocalypse Now.
