No that didn't happen, the real bomb didn't have a chute

porl horbor

>Thousands of men, women and children interned at prisoner of war camps were subjected to vivisection, often without anesthesia and usually ending with the death of the victim.[20] Vivisections were performed on prisoners after infecting them with various diseases. Researchers performed invasive surgery on prisoners, removing organs to study the effects of disease on the human body. These were conducted while the patients were alive because it was feared that the decomposition process would affect the results.[21] The infected and vivisected prisoners included men, women, children, and infants.[22]
>Prisoners had limbs amputated in order to study blood loss. Those limbs that were removed were sometimes re-attached to the opposite sides of the body. Some prisoners' limbs were frozen and amputated, while others had limbs frozen, then thawed to study the effects of the resultant untreated gangrene and rotting.
>Some prisoners had their stomachs surgically removed and the oesophagus reattached to the intestines. Parts of the brain, lungs, liver, etc., were removed from some prisoners.[20]

They deserved it.

This is pretty neat. What's it from?

>usa
>white

kek

>bomb falls in the river

What did they mean by that?

>The US govt got all the scientists involved in this to get off scott-free because they gave the US the results of the research

americans are not white

Couldn't the yanks have dropped the bombs on military bases or in a Battlefield?

Why was it on innocent people and why was that acceptable and still seen as ok today?

nukes explode midair dumb nigger

this is really fucking cool, what is it?

nanking massacre anime when

Jews invented the atom bomb

Whatever you say Hakim.

but it didn't

How can you not know Barefoot Gen?

Never, because the Japanese aren't infected with leftist guilt like Americans are.

>mfw America is the greatest country on the face of earth

>I don't know how total war works
Seriously nigger open a history book sometime.

Prove it.

None of doctors died from nuclear bomb, 10/10 revenge.

Barefoot Gen.

Poor doggo

CANADAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

Compared to what Japs did in Nanking, that's mercy.

>wiping out cities full of innocent civilians was ok because their military torture and experiment on our soldiers

god bless the usa

they started it

>Japanese killed 20M Chinese during WWII
>committed terrible experiments on live subjects
>Battle of Okinawa had more casualties than both bombs combined

>dropping the bombs is the worst thing ever -- worse than Hitler, even!

>woman's brain is vaporized but she has the cognitive ability to jump onto her child

>two bombs single-handedly won the war and forever changed the way nations handle warfare

that's the power of love!

>why was that acceptable and still seen as ok today?
Because they won

>3000 deaths

2402 deaths

Hiroshima + Nagasaki = 129.000–246.000 deaths

USA USA

can someone crop it/focus it on the baby like that gif with the old guy on the crowd having a drink?

literally stood up and clapped as soon as this webm finished, goddamn, we should've dropped another bomb

To show the world the power of the new weapon. The American bombing campaign was killing more civilians with conventional bombing than the nukes killed already.
Still wiping out two entire cities so quickly would impress the world and especially deter Stalin from any silly ideas post-war.

>giving a bomb a parachute

yea that makes sense

seriously though what we did was fucked up

Is US the most powerful country in the world because we're the only country to ever actually use a nuke on people?

It's really insanity that we double nuked Japan and now they're our ally.

Literally slaughtered tens of thousands of people in a single instant and now it's just a blip in our history books. Maybe in Japan it's still much more of a big deal?

Nanking what? Never happen.

you mean jews?

deserved it.

also the us military dropped leaflets to try to get the cities evacuated but MUH HONORABU dictated they stay to get vaped

it slows down the bomb so pilots have time to escape the blast zone before the impact, you silly goose

>
> >3000 deaths
>
> 2402 deaths
> Hiroshima + Nagasaki = 129.000–246.000 deaths

that's what happens when you poke the bear user

Dually noted that suduko is 100x better than being taken alive

you're retarded

Ahahahaha imagine the Japanese reaction

Japan is so degenerate because they basically had to restart their society after this.

It's why they are into tentacle porn and little anime girls.

How did they take that picture? Wouldn't the camera be completely obliterated?

Why wasn't the babby saved then like Harry Potter?

and magically the bodies disappeared

Everyone involved in that clemency deal should have been executed.

your putting too much value on human life. everyone who was alive in Japan in 1945 is now dead anyway, nuked or not.

death comes to us all, dying in an instant in a nuclear attack is actually about as easy as it gets. we did them a favor.

everyone learns about everything somewhere

>Maybe in Japan it's still much more of a big deal?
it's the meaning behind Godzilla

those are deployable conical wings not parachutes retard

And then count in all the allied deaths from the island hopping campaigns, and then multiply then exponentially theorizing how many would have died trying to invade mainland Japan.

>everyone who was alive in Japan in 1945 is now dead anyway
Nigga u high or somethin'?

A nuclear strike is like the most feared thing in the entire world though. The cliche "end of the world" scenario involves Nukes 9/10 times. The fact that we've actually used them on Japan and killed so many people with them just seems like it should be a bigger deal in our everyday lives than it is.

Japan is a cuck country. Literally nuked into loving their masters.

>War of 1812
>Barbary War
>Spanish-American War
>Civil War
>WWI
>WWII
America declared/joined all these wars for the same reason

You wanna know the best part of the whole thing? Japan offered to surrender just days before the first a-bomb was dropped.

ihr.org/jhr/v16/v16n3p-4_Weber.html

>This memo showed that the Japanese were offering surrender terms virtually identical to the ones ultimately accepted by the Americans at the formal surrender ceremony on September 2 -- that is, complete surrender of everything but the person of the Emperor. Specifically, the terms of these peace overtures included:

>Complete surrender of all Japanese forces and arms, at home, on island possessions, and in occupied countries.
>Occupation of Japan and its possessions by Allied troops under American direction.
>Japanese relinquishment of all territory seized during the war, as well as Manchuria, Korea and Taiwan.
>Regulation of Japanese industry to halt production of any weapons and other tools of war.
>Release of all prisoners of war and internees.
>Surrender of designated war criminals.

I don't know why but watching explosions gets me hard every time.

>Is US the most powerful country in the world because we're the only country to ever actually use a nuke on people?

US is the most powerful country in the world because their currency is kept in absurd amounts in every country's treasury vault. If the world collectively said "fuck these people" and walked way from trading with the US they'd die overnight.

>cuck country
And yet they're not getting flooded by third worlders unlike every other developed nation.

Where is the anime of the Nanking massacre?

americucks had to send a message to muh soviets.

A) What said

B) Some bombs benefit from being able to land precisely and on their nose, which the parachute allows.

>just seems like it should be a bigger deal in our everyday lives than it is.

Why? Because that's what you "feel?" It was over 72 years ago. Japan was a powerhouse economy for most of the 20th century. They turned their iconic nuke symbol, Godzilla, and turned it into a fucker in a rubber suit fighting other monsters. They don't give a fuck, what are you making this a big deal for?

Jesus fuck these threads where people try to debate last days of WWII, as if scholars haven't written articles on this shit for the past fucking 60 years. None of you are turning up any new ground.

Is 100 thousand near instant deaths really worse than another 2-5 year war of attrition, slowly starving the population as Japan is burned to the ground before a surrender?

>America
>white

>I hate white people now >:[

>Americans
>White

5 years after the Civil War ended an automatic cotton picker was invented that made slaves redundant

IT'S WHY I'M EASY

WAAAAAHHHHHHHHAAAAHHHHH

EASY AS SUNDAY MORNING

>surrendering to whitu piggus

Honourless cowards.

>singlehandedly
It's not like their entire navy and airforce were oblitared by the US beforehand and the soviets kicking them out of china and korea in a matter of weeks.
Atom bombs or not the japs would have surendered anyways. A combined soviet invasion from the north and US invasion from the east/south were enough of a threat to surender. The bombs were just a last giant fuck you

I was too young to be alive back then, so its obviously didn't happen

and decades later Japan conquered the minds of their enemies as to reach a point where the young generations worship Japan more than their own country

How did Japan get to be it's own country to this day after this? How is Japan not Japamerica right now?

t.history ignorant user

Why have I never head about this before?

Also, assuming it's not fictitious, of course the Americans would want to test their ultimate weapon at least once.

>test in in a real combat environment to see how good it actually is
>also gives you the cred of being the only country in the world ever to have deployed nuclear weapons in war

itt nips dindu nuffin

Why?

Did you understand Japanese culture of the time? They couldn't ever surrender because they'd have to commit dishonorable seppuku.

There was no other recourse that didn't cost hundreds of more thousands of more lives. A single conventional bombing prior killed more people in the firestorms that followed than both nukes combined.

Quit acting all up in arms we sued for them to surrender plenty of times long after they'd lost the war and prior to the bombings.

but would you say the same about the jew kikes and their holocaust bullshit propaganda?

>How is Japan not Japamerica right now?

It is in all but name. Same with Germany. They both because American satellite states.

>Couldn't the yanks have dropped the bombs on military bases or in a Battlefield?
There were no significant active 'battlefields' between the US & Japan at the time the atomic bombs were ready. They had troops active in China & Korea but those were sideshows. The US had island hopped all the way to the main Japanese islands and the next step was going to be a massive amphibious invasion of the mainland on a scale greater than D-Day.

In the run up to the Atomic Bombs, the American armed forces had just braved the hell of Okinawa and witnessed thousands of Japanese citizens throw themselves off a cliff rather than surrender to the US. It was cases like this that also colored the choices of the decision makers.

A committee within the Manhattan project discussed the utility of dropping a bomb offshore or somewhere scarcely populated as a display as power, but it was quickly shelved for reasons that it would ultimately probably be useless.

In any case both Hiroshima & Nagasaki had important strategic value and were not just chosen to try and kill the most amount of people possible.

You're getting inexplicably upset over this. My point was simply:
>dropping two nukes was one of the most important happenings in the literal history of human existence
>seems like that should be a bigger deal, even over half a century later

That's simply my opinion. You need to calm your autism.

>Why have I never head about this before?

who's history books did you read?

Read about what the Japs did in Nanking and what they did to POWs.

Nips had it coming, Truman did nothing wrong.

>America stops total war campaign after WW2
>loses Vietnam
>Afghanistan in a stalemate
>Iraq is a pyrrhic victory

Really makes you think.

Go watch "The Untold History of the United States" It's on Netflix. It does a deep dive into the end of WW2 and why the US decided to use the bomb. The short version is that it would literally be the last time any nation could hope to use an atomic weapon without MAD taking effect.
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Untold_History_of_the_United_States

You know how, in Civ you don't get any warmonger points if you give captured cities back after a war is over? Kind of the same thing IRL. We had an image to keep and the only way to keep it was by turning these countries into industrial powerhouses, exporting largely to the US.

>Hundreds of thousands of innocent people deserved to die because of what some cunt military did

Epic

What the fuck does this have to do with anything? Who's talking about the jews? We're talking about Japan.

Damn right because these WWII threads are cropping up more and more lately and they'd be fucking over in a SECOND if any of you fucks bothered to research the myriad of articles already on these subjects. But naaah you all want attention from each other because you're a bunch of fucking kids.

>seems like that should be a bigger deal, even over half a century later

Yeah I read your point, and it was just as stupid then as it is now. I'll even copy/paste my response to highlight your stupidity.

>Why? Because that's what you "feel?" It was over 72 years ago. Japan was a powerhouse economy for most of the 20th century. They turned their iconic nuke symbol, Godzilla, and turned it into a fucker in a rubber suit fighting other monsters. They don't give a fuck, what are you making this a big deal for?

>dying in an instant in a nuclear attack is actually about as easy as it gets
yeah except there were tons of people who didn't die instantly and spent the remainder of their life in hellish agony as their skin/eyes melted

>anime
2 wasn't enough

Woah, I wonder what Hard looked like!

>the plane that dropped the bomb was called something gay

Lmao America with the bantz

>the part where the dog goes berserk and attacks the hand rail.
gets me every time

>This memo showed that the Japanese were offering surrender terms

Except they weren't. Because these secret negotiations were done behind the back of the military factions on the Japanese High Council and no decisions could be made without their unanimous consent.

The same faction that literally attempted a coup on the day of the proposed real surrender to keep it from happening.

Ebola Gay. Top bantz desu.
